  • Amaya VS Sephira

So I've been toying around with doing this for a while. Let's see how it turns out, shall we? First an analasis of the two fighters.

    Character Profile

    Sephira
Last of the Hylian Stari, Sephira is about 6 feet tall. Her hair is kept in a braid reaching the small of her back. This could be a hinderance if grabbed by her combatant. Her clothes are tight enough that they can't be bunched up and grabbed.
Because she is the last of her tribe, Sephira has a deep desire to survive, feeling that her tribe will live as long as she does. This will make her fight that much harder. However, because she is facing another Stari, her resolve will possibly be weaker, and the shock of seeing another Stari will possibly leaving her open to attack. She is young as well, barely an adult by Stari standards, so this might be a set-back as inexperiance. It might also be an advante, because she will be underestimated.

    Amaya
General of Rhykim's army, Amaya is roughly 5 1/2 feet tall, giving her a distinct reach disadvantage. Her hair is shorter, though, so she is less likely to be grabbed and directed by it. Her clothes are also tight enough that they won't be grabbed.
She is a blood-thirsty fighter, with little regard for how much she is cut herself. With this little regard for her life, she is more likely to be killed; however, she is also less likely to give in to a wound, no matter how deadly, until her foe lays dead. Being a general, she is used to fighting multiple enemies; as such, her focus is razor sharp and her experiance greater than most.

    Weapons and Skills

    Both
Having grown up in Stari tribes, despite being miles apart, both Amaya and Sephira have similair, and almost identical, talents. Both can speak with animals, have skills with archery and swordsmanship, and understanding of herbs and medicines. Both will be forbidden to bring their cheetah partners, and Sephira will for-go Midnight, to make it as fair as possible for them both.

    Sephira
Sephira's main skill and advantage is her gift of the phoenix. She can summon and control fire at will, and is untouched by its affects. She can turn herself into a phoenix if she feels it is necessary.
Her weapon of choice is the bow with arrows she made herself, having forged the heads with her own fire and plucked her own feathers for flights. She also has a sword that she forged herself that she can use fairly well.

    Amaya
Amaya's talent is water. She can manipulate water in a variety of ways, even harden it into ice to use as spears and needles. Her favorite way to use it is either to encase her opponent's head in it and drown him/her, or create a whip and lash her opponent's skin to ribbons.
Her preferred weapon is her double-edged sword. She has a bow and quiver of arrows, but she dislikes using them.

    Battle Style

    Sephira
She prefers to fight from a distance, using either her fire or her arrows to keep her opponent at a distance. If she is forced to use her sword, she will prefer to dive under her foe's guard, strike, and leap out of the way before any retaliation can hit her.

    Amaya
She is an up-front fighter, loving to get inside her opponent's reach and attack from there. She likes to break her opponent with taunts, making them angry. She likes to alternate with her sword and water, forcing her opponent to keep track of both.

So far this looks like an excellant battle before us, don't you agree? To make it as far as possible, the terrain chosen is an flat, open field, with a small lake near-by. This should allow Sephira to use her arrows well enough, while giving Amaya something for her magic.
I will alternate between the two women's views, using red for Sephira and blue for Amaya. This should take two or three posts to finish, so place your bets, and look forward to the fight!
