Corruption
10 years ago the system lied and sent us off to war.
10 years ago the’ conomy crashed and we were downright poor.
They told us they had weapons, missiles and tanks galore.
When really they had nothing, ‘cept oil on every pore.
So we marched on in, unknowing, and took it all, for us
Blind to us, they stole it all. hoarding in their lust
It was dreadfully unfair, but who was I to care.
We would weep , While the wealthy would sweep, it fuels the one percent.
When they finally said we've taken all, we were taken aback,
Tired thirsty and famished we ended the attack.
when It was finally over, I decided I would slack
fatigued, I coughed with a "hack" .
When we came home, it didn't take long, that our efforts were in vain,
They had kept on spending, to them wealth forever reigns.
‘cause unlike me it hadn't caused them pain.
Them fools, all they needed was to learn to abstain.
