Yes folks, it's true. The Zelda book, Hyrule Historia, previously only available in Japan is being brought out for us to experience. It was recently confirmed by Dark Horse Comics, and will be a 248 page, 9" X 12" hardcover book, selling for $34.99. A quote from Dark Horse states it is exactly the japanese version, with a few minor tweaks. They are apparently translating even the smallest handwriting in the concept art, things that were barely legible in the Japanese version.
The book is set to arrive on January 16, 2013 and in addition to concept art and the full history of the Zelda franchise, the book also includes Nintendo’s official Zelda timeline, as well as a Zelda comic from manga artist Akira Himekawa. The English version will also include an introduction by Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto(Quoted from IGN).
It will be distributed to North America, Australia, the UK and parts of Europe.
So, are you guys excited about this? I think I may very well be spending my money on this, just to have something like that on my bookshelf :P
But seriously, I am buying this. So what about you guys? You getting excited just reading about it, or switching to something else?
