    Gerrard arrives from Rebel Base
It was already deep into the night when a curious Gerrard finally made it to Clock Town, it was smaller than he imagined, but still pretty big. He decided to take a breath on the road just outside of the town, and he looked up in his curiosity. As the name entailed, the clock tower seemed to be the crown jewel of the town, as it stood above everything and it imposed a large impression. Gerrard made it into the gate without much trouble, only getting a small stare and a curse nod from the guard.
It was then that Gerrard did something he hadn't done in forever enjoy himself, he had no money, but he spent a while simply looking around. Of course, with it being night, many stores were closed, but he didn't mind as even the small ones, as those were the only ones that were open, provided immense satisfaction for him.
Including the numerous pet stores that seemed to love to market Chu Chu's, those little jelly things who were aggressively dangerous back in Hyrule Field.
It was then that another shop caught his eye, a potion shop. Gerrard sauntered inside, and was immediately greeted with the strong and bitter scent of what he assumed were herbs. Gerrard unintentionally flinched when the scent hit his nostrils, but then edged his way inside past a sort of curtain that stood just inside the door. As he went inside the smell only got stronger, and he got a view of the establishment. There was only one table, a worn down wooden table with an elderly women behind it. But there was also a brewing station behind her, with a variety of different flames and flasks. All other walls were covered in open shelves, with a variety of fresh herbs, mushrooms, and other resources needed to make potions. He approached the lady with a small on his face, he was always curious in the ancient and articulate art of potion brewing.
Hey darling, the charming lady said, anything in particular you are looking for? It is not often that I get customers at this time of the night.
Not particularly, it also doesn't help that I am quite lacking in the possession of money. But what do you offer?
Ah, The old lady replied, nothing out of the ordinary. Healing Potions, Cursing Potions, Revival Potions, I even got some Water Lilly's back in supply recently, which will also allow me to make some Memory Regeneration potions, which is more like a tea. I could get you the full list if you want though, sweety
Memory Regeneration? Gerrard thought to himself, would this help me regain some of my memories from my possession? Do I really want to experience this?
Gerrard mulled over it for a few seconds, but he came to the conclusion that no matter what he did, he had to know what happened. He knew bits and pieces of the story, of course, but whenever he talked to others they seemed so repulsed at his actions that they had immediate hatred for him.
But then, another problem surfaced, he had no money to speak of.
I would love the Memory Regeneration one, but unfortunately I have no money to speak of. Is there any other way I can pay you?
Well the aged lady replied I see you have a quiver on your back, I need the head of an arrow for a certain potion of mine I am working on. Sweety, it'd be my pleasure to make a potion for you for only 5 of your arrows, as I could also use the wood for several more earthy potions.
Gerrard looked at his 20 arrow quiver, giving up a whole quarter of his supply would be pricy, but he could always get them back if the potion didn't work, so he agreed. Here he said, handing the arrows to the grizzled lady.
The lady seemed pleased with the arrows, and immediately went to work on the potion. Gerrard sat down, expecting that it would take a while. He kept an eye on her, as she spent many minutes feverishly throwing in varied mushrooms and herbs into the pot. And then she did some sort of incantation over it, and he could see certain runes glowing in a small book. Gerrard was wary of magic, so he didn't exactly like this.

It was then, after an undetermined amount of time, the potion was finished. After a few words on what to do, she handed him a small tea glass filled to the top in a liquid as black as the night. He peered down into it, and saw his own reflection, peering back at him. It had been a while since Gerrard had seen himself, and he was shocked at his change of appearance. But he decided not to linger, Gerrard took a deep breath; And he drank. Gerrard swallowed it all in one gulp, and he felt nothing. Gerrard was about to sigh, and thank the old lady for her time, but then he collapsed.

A fire in a dusty town...
a sword through a noble maiden...
a hidden blade, streaking through the dark...
A hidden ritual, in the middle of the desert.
    Pain... so much pain.
    Powers renewed, memories rekindled...
    The joy of killing...
    The joy of pain...
    The joy of death...
    Joy...pure joy.
    Kidnappings...rituals...plans...power, so much power...
Power from his palm...power to destroy the world
Then...a flash of light. An arrow piercing through the dark, blinding everything and hitting the darkness inside of him

    And Gerrard woke up.
Gerrard gasped at air as if he had been under water for a long period of time. He needed air, and the pungent inside air of a potion shop wasn't doing anything for him.
Gerrard stumbled outside, gasping for air, and mad at himself, and Gerrard began to sob.
    He remembered everything.
    Everything he had done.
    Everything he had thought.
    Everything.
And Gerrard was appalled at himself, but then he saw the sky. He had no time to think, he had to get back to camp and get outside the camp in time for him to hunt. He had to run if that were to happen, he had to run.
And Gerrard ran, he ran towards the rebel base, knowing that his time was running short before people grew suspicious.
On his way, he had time to think, he had time to mull over the issues. But he would need a lot longer, he couldn't digest it all at this time. He would have plenty of time while he was out hunting, as he usually finished way before he was supposed to be back in camp after hunting, anyway.
