Seric Enters From the thread "Nearly Dead"
~Seric sat up abruptly, Looking left and right. He had a sudden thought come to his head~ Don't beg for things. Do it yourself or You'll never get anything. ~he said it out loud as he remembered who said it~ Muri... ~he would say as he stood, looking down at the spot where he and the foxes body had been dropped After his last battle. the fox already dead, the spirit of the one he loved, the one that inhabited it long gone, Imprisoned by the Reaper-like being Garnos.~ What am i doing, sulking like this. It's been about a month... I've only left to eat and get money for food... It's time to fight. ~his body would seem to pull in the nearby shadows. He jumped, landing on the ground, a black mist going out in all directions from his point of Impact. He rose from his landing position, looking around again, and drawing his sword. He ran out the south gate, shadows propelling him forward as he circled clock town, branching off to go out to Ikana canyon. He reached the canyon and found yet another force of Garos, but did not hesitate. Moving with the speed of shadows he cut through warrior after warrior, finally reaching the first cliff. He Pulled out his hookshot and used it to reach the top, then it was off to the second cliff. he cut through about five more enemies before climbing.~ I will not lose this time... I will free my kingdom... my home ~he said as he fought off a few more that had been waiting. He made a break for the tower. When he reached the inside, the platforms here gone, but he only laughed darkly, once again jumping, propelled up and forwards by the shadows, landing on the other side. he continued this, climbing the tower to reach the top. This time, as he reached the temple, he walked into the courtyard. he walked to the door where his previous encounter had been. He saw the scythe first, then the rest as the black being looked at him.~ Welcome back, Son of the dead. ~he said, almost as if it were a curse. but laughed darkly~ I was sure you had died. ~he sneered, readying his scythe. Seric meerly glared, If looks could kill, there would be nothing left of his opponent. Seric Drew his Blue-glowing blade and ran forward. but garnos was fast, the scythe pierced seric through the head, but did not impact, Seric however burst into smoke, but then a slash was heard, hitting garnos in the large Red pearl that was his midsection. he jumped foreward in pain, Spinning around, scythe positioned to hit but seric ducked and it only barely skimmed his forehead, and garnos came round again, thistime swiping from behind, to the floor in front, attempting to cleave Seric. however, seric prepaired and rolled to the left, stabbing at the Pearl again, attempting to turn the blade for max damage, however the top half of the black creature pivoted on the ball swinging in a downward slash again, Seric tried to jump back, but he took some of the hit on his chest, a deep gash bleeding slightly. He focused, his Phoenix night Armour forming on his torso to stop, or at least impede the bleeding. 'I have it down, the red core is his weakness, but he can pivot 360 degrees on it, he has a spinning attack that goes left to right, then his slash attack that goes vertically. Finally that charge attack i saw before. I can do this, for her, for all of them. He thought to himself. leaping back to another side of the room, Garnos glared again and Used said charge attack, The scythe straightening Into a spear. Seric watched and waited, his blades aura turning deep red as shadows were infused into it. He jumped last second and Garnos lodged the scythe into the wall, it stuck there, he attempted to pull it out, but before he could, the blade shadowsong extended with a black blade. He swung with his full strength, slashing the Red pearl in half Garnos let go of the scythe and the pearl fell to the floor, shattered. the being spun around, eyes widened in suprise as it's core was cut and then cracked as it his the floor. Garnos exploded in shadows, fading through a large black vortex portal that opened in the ceiling. All that was left was the core, now blue. Seric picked it up and then looked closer, seeing the spirits of his family and people trapped inside. he focused a ball of dark energy that he fired at the core, shattering it, the spirits flying from it. one paused. his father, who at first looked disappointed, but then smiled and nodded his aproval, joining the rest as they left the room, going goddess-knows where. After all were gone one more was still there. It warily emerged. a small girl. Muri. she smiled and kissed him on the cheek before she too dissappeared throught the hole in the celing. he smiled for the first time in months as he exited the room. the stone tower temple began breaking down, It's power source gone. The tower's doorway collapsed as he walked out the entrance, forever sealing the tower. Seric looked around the canyon. Green could be seen returning to the earth, the river once more flowed, and the dark clouds were gone. even the garo spirits were rising, leaving to the sky. Seric moved to sit in front of the large gate that blocked the castle entrance. he smiled, Victorious. then he stood and entered the hole in the wall, coming home to Ikana Castle for the first time in over 100 years...~
