  • Site Update - February 16, 2014

Alrighty guys! I've got a site update for everyone. As some of you may or may not noticed, I've done a little work here. The first thing to address is that some of you have received a 'promotion' (it's what the site calls it). What exactly do I mean? Those select few in the 'Registered Users' group are now in a new group called 'Trusted Users'. You have earned this title because you have repeatedly been active almost day after day after day. Additionally, you have provided help around the community, actively participated in any group social event, and have been there for others when they needed it. You have also progressed to the point of earning my trust with more privileges.

So congratulations are to be made for the following members on their promotion:

    amaterasu
Jborgon [as a secondary group]MaZius_the_Prius(Z64) [as a secondary group]
    Peeps
    shadow wing
    zmanxtreme

Your additional privileges include larger image sizes (for everything that has images including avatars, profile pictures, photo albums, signature, etc.) You should also now have the option of uploading a .gif image for profile pics and avatars. All image sizes for you can now exceed no more than 5mb.

The second matter to address is the new wiki link in the navbar. I have installed new wiki software that integrates with the vBulletin software. In other words, the wiki inherits the themes, user permissions, logins, cookies, etc. that vBulletin natively features. Although I only clicked a few things, posting an article will be similar to posting a regular post. Since it is integrated into the forums, new entries and replies should appear in the shoutbox as well (this has yet to be tested). Additionally, the old wiki will remain active so any old articles can be copied, saved, and transferred if the original poster wishes to do so.

Members who are able to post to the wiki are all staff members including those of you with your new promotion. If any of you who do not have permissions to edit a wiki article want to post one or edited, please inform anyone with permissions to do it for you.

Congratulations to those of you listed above! Enjoy your new privileges!
