However, her Gerudo blood has been diluted a bit due to her Hylian ancestry, so she appears paler than full-blooded Gerudo (similar to Teake). In terms of clothing, she is usually in her courier outfit, which consists of the following: 1) burgundy jacket with a hood, with the insignia (the bunny symbol on the Postman’s clothing) of the Hylian Courier Service on the back, 2) burgundy shirt with gold accents on the ends of the sleeves and the bottom (waist area), with a small version of the HCS insignia on the left side of the chest area, 3) burgundy pants/shorts (weather dependent) with gold accents around the top (waist area) and the bottom parts (the ends of the pant legs), 4) brown all-terrain boots, and 5) lightweight dark brown leather armor. In addition, she wears a purple bandana on her left arm, matching her best friend Alouette’s red one, which they wear as a sign of their friendship. She stands at the average Gerudo height of 6’5”.

Personality: Juli has a mild protagonist/main character syndrome, so she believes that 1) she is the main character in her world and 2) she has a ‘destiny’ of some sort that her life is leading up to. This isn’t something that she ever talks about explicitly, even to the people closest to her, but this drives her actions and other aspects of her personality. For example, she loves traveling and can be convinced to do almost anything if she believes it to be an “adventure”. Juli is also very kind-hearted, often finding it difficult to ignore people who she believes need her help. She cherishes each and every single one of her friends, and can get very overprotective of them, especially if she believes somebody is trying to take advantage of them. Though she isn’t quick to anger, she can get really fired up once provoked. Still, even when upset, she tries to avoid resulting to violence (though this changes if she is defending herself from a monster or a similarly serious threat). Juli tends to get very competitive when it comes to things like games/sports and fights, likely as a result of her Gerudo blood. In addition, she can be quite defiant towards overbearing authority figures, and is almost never afraid to speak her mind. Backstory: In 0 ATR, Tarrey Town was founded in the Akkala region with the help of the Hylian Champion. On the first day following the completion of its construction, Bolson Construction employees Hudson (a Hylian man) and Rhondson (a Gerudo woman) were married in the town’s center. In the following 60 years, the family resided peacefully in Tarrey Town, running the tailor shop started by Rhondson, who was a tailor by trade. In 68 ATR, Julison Sakurda was born as the first and only child of Rhondson’s grandchild.
From very early on it was obvious to her parents that she wasn’t quite like the rest of the family, finding a lot of enjoyment roughhousing with the other children of the town, and being completely bored when it came to tailoring work. As she grew older, this became more and more of a problem with her growing desire to explore the land of Hyrule in its entirety. Believing herself to be destined to go on some grand heroic journey when she was an adult, Julison found it hard to accept that she was next in line to take over the family business. Getting into her later teenage years, Julison became increasingly critical of just about everything related to her family, including her own name.
Around the time of her 20th birthday, Julison decided to run away from home, making off with a considerable portion of the family wealth so that she could find residence elsewhere. Knowing that couriers of the Hylian Courier Service (HCS) traveled across Hyrule as their job, Julison ended up getting a house in Clock Town near the HCS headquarters, buying it under the name Juliana (choosing to change her name as a sign of separating from her family). Not long after, she was hired by the HCS. After one month of only working in the Central Hyrule region while she was learning the job, Juliana’s boss began having her alternate between both the Central Hyrule region and the Gerudo region, staying in either region for a couple weeks or a month at a time. While working in the Gerudo region, Juliana stays in the courier’s barracks of the Gerudo Canyon Outpost.
Fairly far into the first year of her service as a courier, a Rito girl named Alouette was hired by the HCS at the Clock Town headquarters during a period where Juliana was working in Central Hyrule. One day, they received their assignments in the same briefing, leading to a confusion where Alouette was convinced she had been tasked with the deliveries Juliana had been given. Seeing that the Rito was having some trouble learning her job, Juliana opted to mentor her so that she would not be fired for incompetence. As a result of spending a lot of time together both on the job and in their free time, Juliana and Alouette became close friends, exclusively referring to each other with nicknames that are forbidden for use by anybody else.
Currently, Juliana is working in Central Hyrule once again. At this point she has come to see Alouette as a younger sister, giving the Rito a room in her Clock Town home. Though she enjoys her work as a courier, she still spends her days fantasizing about the “epic adventure” that she one day hopes to embark on.
