Name: Ceedora
Gender: Female
Race: Rito
Age: 20
Occupation: Explorer
Appearance: Ceedora is a younger Rito with a dark purple color for her main feathers. The tips of her wings are black while the under parts are a soft pink. She has black beak and keeps several different colored feathers in a headpiece on the left side of her head. She wears lighter leather breastplate and keeps a blue scarf wrapped around her left shoulder like a shawl, pinned on both sides of her right shoulder. Overall she's a smaller Rito.
Equipment: Ceedora has a bandolier strapped under her shawl from her right shoulder downwards. In between three of the pouches halfway down, she has three scrolls of parchment, two of which are filled out maps. The third one is halfway filled out, but not complete. On her back is a sack that she keeps flint, an optical scope, a journal, several jars of materials, elixirs and food. She also keeps a lute strapped to the side of her sack as well. She also keeps a bow and quiver of arrows on her during her travels.
Personality: She is a headstrong, but independent woman who doesn't like to ask for help. She is adventurous and naturally curious. She likes to meet new people and dreams of seeing every part of the world. She is generally humble about her cartography and loves hearing stories about other people's adventures and comparing them. She also has a fascination with browsing cultural stores from all around Hyrule. She hopes to someday make a popular atlas that contains travel information about every settlement, some history of the area and fun facts.
Skills: While she is no Revali, she has tried to copy his ability to create updrafts rather unsuccessfully. What she is talented at is being a great listener. She also thinks herself of a pretty good cook and has been known to make a good meal for family and friends. She also has taken up playing a lute as a means to enjoy her time in secluded areas. She likes to write information and blurbs about places she's been and keeps a journal in her knapsack. She also is excellent at spinning a tale with lots of flourish. She also keeps a bow and arrows on her, but isn't considered skillful by any stretch.
Backstory: While she was growing up Ceedora was a handful. Often times her parents would stress over where she is and how late she was out. Despite their stress, they tried to not extinguish her adventurous spirit but instead erred on the side of caution and wariness of potentially harmful situations. Growing up in Clock Town, she saw a lot of people and had a lot of exposure to the many different cultures of Hyrule. She loved watching travelers come in and out of the gate closest to her home. When she became older, she started to go out and explore herself. She frequently traveled up to the Great Plateau and loved to see the sights of Hyrule at such an impressive height. As a result of her going out and exploring, she became popular with many of her peers in her neighborhood, however, despite her popularity, she always felt truly alone with no one as a true friend. When she came into full maturity, she left Clock Town to go and explore. She first decided to explore more of Hyrule Field and Castle Town to help get her bearings. She enjoyed spending time with the Hylians and seeing their daily lives up close. She then moved west towards Hebra and Tabantha where she wanted to visit Rito territory and experience the true culture of her ancestry. During her stay there, she took up map making and journal taking. She wanted to chronicle with words and visuals her travels and to help others become familiar with the world around them should they decide to travel. She then moved south from there where she crossed the Tabantha Great Bridge and moved more southeast towards Hyrule Ridge. She spent time climbing Satori Mountain and soaking in the nearby sights. She then went back to Clock Town to stay and partake in the Carnival of Time.
After the Carnival's end, she left for Gerudo Desert and the large mountainous plateaus shielding it. She loved visiting Gerudo Town and learning about their culture and about the Seven Heroines. She also had heard rumors of an Eighth Heroine statue and endeavored to find it, but without luck. When she was ready she traveled onwards to Faron Grasslands directly south of the Great Plateau. She took in the sights of Mount Faloraa enjoying seeing the Taobab Grasslands and Oseira Plains. She continued heading east and took time to set up camp around Cora Lake. She spent some time there and continued east, eventually getting back on the main road and stayed at Highland Stable. There, she picked up a lute from a traveler and kept it with her since. She followed the main road southwest and spent time on the Nette Plateau. She practiced a lot with her lute and loved watching the horizon of the ocean.
Nearing the end of the year, she traveled back to Clock Town for the Carnival of Time and spent some time there before leaving again. She traveled deeper into Faron and spent nearly half a year in Faron Woods and Damel Forest. She loved studying creatures and insects, hunting for food, studying ancient ruins, and being completely immersed in nature. Eventually, she left to go south and put Lurelin Village on her map as the destination. She decided to ascend Tuft Mountain and spend a little time before flying east, straight to Lurelin Village. She spent some time there learning their customs and culture before heading home again for the Carnival of Time. After the Carnival she left to return to southeast Hyrule and get to the top of Mount Dunsel and Cape Cales. She camped some time on the top of the cape before heading back to home for a rest. Shortly after getting home, she found out about King Roark's untimely death and the new Queen's World Fair being held. With giddy anticipation, she gathered her things and made haste for the Fair.
