They formed around 66 ATR in Cape Cresia and quickly gained traction, moving to the resort in Eventide (Hyrule’s own "land of the lotus-eaters") as one of the island’s main tourist attractions. They perform in a shell bandstand next to the island, and are scheduled to headline the World’s Fair. Their music is a blend of surf rock, ska, bossa nova and other beachy styles, as well as occasionally breaking from this with orchestrations and such.
Mikela is the band's frontwoman, while her and Kiko are both considered the leaders of the band as the main songwriters and purveyors of its messages. Their manager doesn't play music but could be considered the unofficial 7th member, and is a big reason for their success.

General Description: Kiko was born in Zora’s Domain, a childhood family friend of Mikela’s. Their families moved to Cape Cresia together, solidifying the young Zoras’ friendship. When they arrived, they joined the other musicians of the town to become the Tsunami 6. He played with her and wrote songs with her for most of his life, and they are the core songwriting duo of the band. They were once lovers in their teens but this evolved into a trustworthy but non-romantic working relationship. He has a giving nature and a good reputation, often considered “the hot one” out of the band’s male members.

Appearance: Vata is a purple Zora with pretty features and flowing fins. They have the average Zora male height and a slender build. Their guitar is a fish skeleton, while the horn is brass and originally made by Hylians.
General Description: Vata is the quiet, mysterious one out of the group, whose emotions are revealed when they are playing raunchy lead guitar lines in the band. They were part of the Zora group that moved to Cape Cresia and played music with Japi, Beto and Makon until the others joined to form the 6.

Appearance: He is actually quite short for a zora, so a platform is used under his keyboard onstage to give the illusion of him being as tall as his bandmates. His scales are practically all white, with a little blue at the end of his fins. His head’s side fanning fins are River Zora style. He also wears large prescription glasses. This all gives him the appearance of a mad scientist in a lab coat, hence the “Doctor”.
General Description: Japi is a smartass but not a very wise one. He can be stubborn, and is more likely than any other member to start band drama. He was born to a traveling musical Zora couple who settled in Cape Cresia to raise him. When he was a teen in Zora years he and his friends formed a band. He wants to be like his parents and marry a musician, though Mikela consistently rejects his advances, causing a lot of jealousy.

Appearance: Beto bones is a dark green-blue zora and the tallest of the 6. He has the average fin style, as well as many coastal Zora style tattoos. His Zora bass is also made from a fish skeleton and slightly longer than the other’s guitars. His posture is very relaxed, sometimes even slouched. He has some gold piercings, one on lip and one on brow, as well as his head fins.
General Description: Beto goes with the flow and is very cool, so he is well liked within the band. He has a deadpan humor that is appreciated by his comrades and makes light of drama. He is the brother of Makon, and the two were practically born jamming together. They both only care about the music and try to prevent issues in the group. He grew up in Cape Cresia playing with the 4 until they became the 6.

Appearance: Makon is a wide Zora, very strong but also a little fat (kinda like Tijo from the Indigo-gos), and quite tall. He has coastal Zora style tattoos and green-blue spots.
General Description: Makon is very protective of his friends, and likes to prevent drama by acting as a mediator in the group along with his brother Beto. He grew up jamming drum n bass with his brother, then Vata and Japi as well, until the formation of the 6.

Appearance: He looks like Toto from MM, complete with moustache, goatee, fedora and a nearly circular fat fish body. He is what you would call a puffer-Zora and has somewhat spiky yellow scales. He walks with a cane to help support this large body, which is a bit heavy when he’s not puffing about underwater. He wears a wide collared shirt that stays open cuz they don’t have enough fabric for the wide man.
General Description: Born in Zora’s Domain, Moto and his brother Mojo quickly realized growing up that they weren’t built like other Zora’s (and I’m not talking about their round shape). Their brains were wired to make money, and as young children they sold goodies to their fellow Zora mates that could be easily found for much cheaper prices in stores.
They started a shop in the Domain at a younger age than most business-starters. Eventually they moved on to money making schemes in other parts of the world, such as a gambling ring in Castle Town right after the threat there ended.
While his brother kept up the ring, Moto took a vacation to Lurelin Village where he met Cloyne, a money making guru of sorts, who was soon introduced to Mojo and became a mentor to the both of them. They began working on starting a resort on Eventide Island, capitalizing off its scenic beach location and initially luring Hylian tourists in with the promise of learning flight from the Ritos who had also moved in there at the peak. Their humble start was really just a ferry they bought using their savings. Soon they were building the island into a luxury destination complete with lodging, food and a bar.
When Moto noticed a Zora band jamming in Cape Cresia, he saw their potential for making him money and offered to give them a place to stay on Eventide, granted they would provide music in the bar every night. Soon the place’s popularity, as well as the band’s, grew and people from all over the world visited (it became Hyrulian Vegas). He got a shell bandstand built for the band on a smaller neighboring island of Eventide for major weekly performances. He loves the 6 with all his heart, but mainly because they make him a lot of money. The band loves him too, despite occasional tension due to his only understanding of money, and not their artistic message. His latest endeavour has been an agreement with the Queen to have the sought-after Tsunami 6 headline the World’s Fair for a hefty sum.
