Tassus approaches castle town after a long journey back from Giant's forest. He'd been living there in a self made shelter for some time now but his coat had been ripped in a scuffle with a wild boar and he needed repairs. He takes out some boar jerky and gnaws on it as he approaches what looks to be the makings of an upcoming festival.
He looks over to his owl Ikuh perched on his shoulder "Looks like we picked a good time to come back, huh, buddy!" Ikuh simply lowers his head and stares at the jerky. "Oh right, it is about time you ate, huh." Tassus rips off a piece of jerky that Ikuh happily tears into with his beak. "Let's see what all of this is about."

As Tassus approached, many people were unpacking carts and unloading supplies. As he wandered closer to town, he marveled at the variety of travelers assembling and putting together stalls. People of all sorts were socializing and a group of traveling musicians had grouped together to entertain the masses. Among them were a Hylian Girl playing a harp, a Goron banging on drums, a Zora guitarist, and a Hylian child playing some horse grass. The Zora guitarist had set out his guitar case for tips. Tassus reflexively took a rupee out of his bag and tossed it to the hard working group. The guitarist smiled and gave a thumbs up. Tassus waved as he moved along thinking to himself (was that a green or a blue........ I tossed it so fast I forgot to check. oh well, I'm sure it's fine.)
Making his way closer to town, Tassus began to stare at the many festive decorations set up on the outer wall. Just then, he could only hear rushed footsteps as he was knocked to the ground by a man in a horrible rush. As he regained his composure on the ground, he saw a shady figure take off towards the quarry ruins. Ikuh had fluttered to the ground next to him as he considered whether to give chase. "Whatcha think Ikuh, should we get em?" Ikuh tilted his head forward and screeched "Yah, you're probably right, way more trouble than it's worth. We're mercenaries, not vigilantes." He got up slowly and noticed his mask had fallen out of his coat. he quickly retrieved it and stowed it away muttering to himself "Don't need to be seen with this if it isn't on." His pace quickened as he approached the front gates.
