Waking up, Juli was greeted by an unpleasant combination of a headache and a minor headache. Groaning groggily, she rolled to her left and covered her eyes with her hands. From the temperature and the cold, unwelcoming stone below her, the young Gerudo knew she was somewhere outside. Why am I...?
The memories came back to her in bits and pieces. To celebrate the success of receiving a work schedule that would allow them to attend the World's Fair, Juli and some of her coworkers had gone to the tavern last night. She'd invited Alouette, but her friend chose to stay home. After that, it was a big blur, but Juli deduced that she'd drunkely stumbled home and passed out before making it.
Juli moved her hands from her eyes and rose slowly, still having to squint as her eyes adjusted to the light. Fortunately, she just happened to be right outside of her own home. For the most part, it looked identical to the other "new" Clock Town homes, comprised of two stories and a triangular roof, built with a stone base complimented by some brick and wood flourishes. The difference was that the door was made out of a different wood than the others, due to it being a replacement after the original door was broken in an incident Juli preferred not to speak about.
She went up to the door, and thrust her hand into the right pocket of her pants. She froze as her hand traveled the entirety of the pocket without running into anything: that was supposed be where her keys were. Juli checked her left pocket, but was similarly unsuccessful. With a sigh, she put her head on the door. She'd been so good at not losing her keys in the roughly two years she'd lived in Clock Town, only to falter now. The locksmith was likely to charge a pretty Rupee for his services, and while Juli wasn't exactly short on money, she still preferred to avoid needlessly wasting any. Not to mention, there was someone who'd she have to explain this to.
"Allieee?" Juliana called out, lifting her head from the door so she could knock on it. "Allie, I...ah, I forgot my keys. Can you let me in? Allieeeeeeeee?"
