Aria leaned back in her chair. "So the Jedi have no higher power? No one to keep them in check? Sounds like a recipe for disaster if you ask me." She pulled her gun out of its holster and started to take it apart and clean it. "I already knew about the Republic asking the Jedi to stand in. So what? They were put in charge of the clones, which gives them the force they need if they decide to take over." She put aside the barrel and picked up the chamber. "Haven't they also been the disturbers of peace? The ones who stuck their noses where it didn't belong and got the rest of the population stung as a result?" She then looked the girl in the eye. "You might not think us scum, but if any of your Jedi pals saw us, we'd be dead or incarcerated before you could blink."

Alyva nodded thoughtfully. "She does have a point. However, after how many bounty hunters have joined forces with the Seperatists, can you truly blame us for our distrust?" She looked at Aria.

Aria glanced at Broo. The Wookie shrugged. She sighed and turned back to the young Jedi. "It won't convince us, but we'll take you there regardless." She turned back to the controls and started punching the coordinates in. CT-5483 smiled at Rialle. "No. Not hardly. You're on board a the wrecked clanker ship. Just make sure you keep your voice down. It's been a couple hours. The droids are close to finishing their patrols. By the way, do you know who this man is?" and the Clone pilot motioned to the body of Sky. "He's been motionless since we've found you. Judging by his clothing, he's a Jedi. Although..." CT-5483 started thinking aloud, "where's his lightsaber? I thought the Jedi were married to their lightsaber..."
A droid patrol stopped outside the infirmary doors. A droid voice started speaking. "Captain Trask, we've searched the ship twice, as you ordered. And we've found nothing. What are our orders?"
Severance's voice could hardly be heard through the walls of the ship. "Go to the bridge, look for Thi'sk and his senior officers. Shackle them and return their bodies to me. Trask out."
"Hmm, Captain Trask... I've heard of him. He's ruthless. Almost as skilled as Admiral Trench was. This isn't good. There's no way we'll make it off planet without him noticing. He's set for the "shoot now, never ask questions". Damn it!"sigpic

Aria shrugged as she resumed cleaning her gun. Broo went further into the ship to make a meal for their passengers. "I haven't a clue, Jedi. If a Jedi aligns his or herself with a bounty hunter, or pays one to do something, they are usually thought to have fallen to the Dark Side, whatever the heck that is, and hunted down. If you can find me more who are still considered Jedi after they align themselves with one than not, I will admit my error." Aria glanced up only long enough to see what was going on, then returned to polishing the stock of her gun. "First aid kit's up there," she said, gesturing with her head. It might make her seem unsympathetic, treating it so lightly, but she had no skill with healing of any sort. That's what Broo did, and the Wookie was tough enough to treat his own wounds.
