He looked at Scrapper. He was fiddling with one of his rifles. "Yeah, I guess. Do we have to take prisioners, or can we punish them for what it's worth?"

"Alright, word from Command says we are about to be deployed to the surface," Scrapper said, now with his whole team coming together. "From what the intel suggests, Count Dooku has barricaded himself into his palace at the Raxus Capital. We are being sent in seperately from the main forces to capture the Count. Command is stressing that we keep him alive. The Jedi want him for questioning. Initial scans of the Capital show that General Grievous is leading an assault force on Count Dooku's Palace. Command has issued that one of the Generals will lead our forces in to distract Grievous so we can get our job done."
Vex rolled his eyes at the word capture. "Why don't we just kill him. He won't talk, I'll bet. Capturing is a waste of time. Blast him in the head and be done with it in my opinion." He turned and checked his gear, one rifle and his dual vibroblade on his back, and another rifle at his side. He walked over to the ship and waited for the others.

Scrapper looked at Vex and, although his face couldn't be seen, he sympathized with his squadmate. "I agree, Vex. We should be allowed to go weapons hot when dealing with Dooku, however, we have our orders. And the Jedi know what they're doing."
Threes climbed into Chief's gunship and grabbed a handle to hang on to. "Come on, Rookie! Time to get your fins dirty!" he encouraged almost sadistically.
The Battle in space was evenly matched. Severance kept his fleet's firepower up, while Rhyssa managed to keep her fleet's shields up to absorb the damage. "Captain, deploy the fighters and bombers. Let's give the Seperatists another thing to worry about."
The forward hangars of the Valorous opened and out flew a couple dozen starcrafts in formation. Their chatter of the squads checking in now filled the comm battle channel. "Captain, have the Righteous and the Courageous follow our lead. Take us in closer so the ground forces can be deployed." "Yes General."
The three Republic Attack Cruisers formed up after the starcrafts took point. They managed to protect the Republic support crafts and soon the gunships were being deployed.
Vex let out a sigh. "What do those Jedi know? They're a bunch of optimists, always expecting the best possible outcome. In the situation that we do get to Dooku, I'm not exactly sure that we'll be able to subdue him or capture him. Even in that instance, I doubt that he'll talk." He clicked in an ammo magazine on his rifle then turned on the safety. He didn't want it firing in its holster.

Scrapper sighed. "I know, Vex. I know. We'll figure out something out by the time we get there. The Jedi seem to be really testing us with this. But just think, when we succeed, we'll be heroes to the Republic. We're Commandos. The best of the best for Clones. It'll be four elite commandos versus a Jedi. I think we'll be able to handle it. Well judging from everyone else getting in the gunships, we should get in ours before we miss our chance," he said now climbing into the designated gunship.
Vex rolled his eyes and climbed in along side them. No one could see him roll his eyes, of course. That was the beauty of these helmets. He turned to Scrapper. "So, we'll be dropped around back and 'sneak in?"

"In lamest terms, yes. That's exactly it. However, previous reports of encounters with Count Dooku suggests that the Palace will be on a tight lockdown. He's barricaded inside and the chances of sneaking all the way to him is small, if not impossible."
The doors on the gunships closed in unison. Rhyssa's voice broke through every clone pilots' helmet. Chief spoke to the clones in his gunship. "The General has just cleared us for take off. Get ready boys!"
He lifted the gunship up and took off. With the mass of gunships being deployed, some of the Seperatist vulture fighters shot down and blew up several gunships in orbit. Sigma Squad and Chief's gunships were among some that made it to the surface safely. Other gunships were taking fire from the flak cannons still active on the surface, and destroyed several of the gunships. Chief's gunship was among one of the first to land. The doors to the gunship opened and Threes hustled his troops out. "Fortify this position! We need to keep the LZ clear so we can deploy the AT-TEs!" Threes lifted his blaster and shot a couple droids that were closing in.
Sigma Squad took it's time descending towards the planet, but they managed to land in a valley on the eastern edge of the city. "Alright guys, let's go," Scrapper said stepping out.
Several clones closed in surrounded Rialle and Threes. The small squad of clones managed to fight off enough droids for two more gunships to deploy some more clones. When Threes felt the LZ was "cooled off enough" for reinforcements, he radioed for the AT-TEs to begin their descent.
The space battle above continued to rage, Rhyssa began a counter-offensive. She went to the hangar and climbed into one of the infiltration gunships. When she felt she had enough clones, she told the pilot to take off. The gunship dodged fire and managed to make it close to the Lynx.
A clone turned to Rhyssa and said, "Good thing they can't hit the broad side of a bantha, eh General?" and the gunship was hit from a shot fired by a vulture droid. The gunship crashed through the hull of the Lynx and broke into it, the passenger compartment inside the Confederacy flagship. Rhyssa jumped out and the surviving clones followed suit and they began to make their way to the bridge.
Gerrard walked around surveying the desert environment of Tattoine. He had a long day and was looking for a place to rest his feet. He saw a canteena on the horizon, he walked up to it and walked in. He saw a Twi'lek and walked up to her and asked, "Hey, do you know where I can find someplace to get off this planet?"
Vex jumped off the gunship and drew a rifle. He walked up to Scrapper, loading it and switching off the safety. "So, we expecting much resistance?"

"I would assume so. It'd be a dumb idea for Dooku if he didn't put up a resistance. But they're just clankers. Nothing serious. After all, I scrap em all," Scrapper said chuckling to himself. He pressed forward, his radar picking up CIS droids in the area. "Come on, let's route through the back alleys and avoid detection. The longer we can go without attention, the better," he concluded, hold his blaster up and readied. Scrapper looked up and saw the AT-TE gunships land by the battle. Threes threw a thermal grenade at a group of battle droids and they blew up before they knew what happened.
