Jenna wasn't really surprised that Sarah started to wolf down the food, Jenna always got a wild feeling from her. That didn't mean jenna wasn't slightly disgusted, but she accepted it. Jenna ate her food quietly, using both her knife and fork. One thing about her family, they had taught her manors. Jenna was slightly annoyed with her mood but hid her irritation "it's for our goddess nyx, The goddess of night" Jenna said, trying to explain why the Ritual was important. Sarah shrugged and gathered her dishes. "Travel is the wrong word. Travel implies I have a specific destination in mind. No, I prefer to wander. My wanderings take me many places. I was born in New Mexico, spent much of my childhood in Texas, and before coming to Oklahoma, I spent a couple years in Virgina. In fact, I was heading up to Oregon when the tracker found me and gave me this cursed mark." Jenna sighed, she felt bad for sarah "shes not enjoying it here" came a familiar voice
"marry met High priestess zoey" Jenna said, fishing her hand over her chest in the traditional vampire greeting
"marry met Jenna, how is your affinity treating" said zoey
"not to great" Jenna sighed "I feel like I can't do anything to help Sarah, even though I can understand where she is coming from"

Sarah sat crossed-legged on her bed, her netbook on her lap. She was typing up a story, and doing a fairly poor job at it, too. She scowled at the page, knowing that if she didn't shape up, this story would be the worst she had written since she started school. Not that she payed much attention in class. She was usually doodling or writing. However, she had a knack for absorbing information when she needed to, which is why she had never yet failed a class.
She glanced up as Jenna walked in, and hid another scowl. She turned back to her netbook and tried to resume writing. Her fingers hovered over the keys as she tried to come up with how to resume, but her mind drew a blank, thanks to that vampyre interrupting her focus. Sighing, she set the netbook aside and moved to her dresser, where she pulled out a night, day she corrected herself, outfit. She pulled off her clothes and started to pull on her pajamas.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Sarah grunted, then moved back to her computor. She pulled it back onto her lap and resumed typing. After a few minutes, she said, "My mentor is Professor Nolan, of drama." She typed a few more, then looked up at Jenna. She scowled, then asked, "Alright, I give up. What do you think of this part?" She looked down at her screen and read:
Running. Running as fast as he could. The trees whizzed by him as he tried to outrun the thing chasing him. He could hear the twigs snapping as it chased him. A screech rent the night sky. He was tempted to turn, to see what it was that was chasing him, but he resisted. If he turned, he would slow down, and if he slowed down, it would catch him. And if it caught him…. Another screech sounded, only this time it sounded pitiful, like a creature in pain. Without meaning to, he turned, to see what it was, for he could never turn down a creature in need.
As he turned, he lost focus on his path and ran into a tree. He fell back on his rear, a groan rising from his throat. He started to get up, to continue to run, but the thing caught up in those few seconds. With a hiss of glee, it pounced on him and he could see it was a Wralien. It bared its teeth in pleasure and gave a small purr. He whimpered in fear as he saw its blood red eyes. Then it hissed, “Now I will not be bound by you, I shall be free!” It raised its tail, blade pointing at his chest. It snapped its teeth happily as it plunged the blade down…

Sarah grimaced. "That's the problem. I want him to survive. But I'm thinking of having this be a prelogue. What I can't decide is if I want to have this be a dream my main protaganist is having, or if it's a vision of the future, or if it's a real event occuring else where, to help draw my readers in." She shut down her netbook first, though, knowing she'd be awhile. After reading a few pages, she looked up at Jenna.
