The following story is purley fiction and it popped into my head as I came home not even ten minutes ago.

The dirt brown van pulled into Abbey's driveway and she and her family hopped out. "I got the fabric!" her sister, Selena, said as she grabbed the Jo-Ann's Fabric bag. The day had started out sunny, and had gotten overcast as they walked through the flea market and finally up to their front door. Abbey's mom got the keys from her boyfriend to unlock the door, letting the four dogs run out and pee in the front yard while everybody else went inside, the last one calling the dogs back in.
After everybody had gotten inside, Abbey's mom and her boyfriend went upstairs so they could nap until it was time to go to a religious service. Selena went to her friend's house, and Abbey flopped on the couch for a few minutes. Starring up at the popcorn ceiling, she started to think up connect the dots patterns, when she saw a shadow move across the wall from the three windows in the front of the living room.
Figuring it was just her cat, Abbey thought nothing of it and decided if he wanted to come in, he could hop through the broken screen in the window in the garage. It got considerably darker in the living room, and, still oblivious to any paranormal happenings, Abbey decided the overcast clouds were finally coming together. When there was tapping on the windows, once again, Abbey decided it was nothing of the supernatural sort, just rain.
Finally getting bored with studying the ceiling, Abbey hopped up the stairs to her room to work on some missing math homework. One of her dogs, Rascal, came upstairs and whined at her as if something was wrong. Setting down her pencil, Abbey followed him downstairs to let him outside even though she thought it was raining. Confused as to why there was no water falling from the sky, Abbey considered what the tapping on her windows could be. Rascal refused to step out the door, and continued to whine at Abbey. Shrugging, Abbey gave him a bone to chew on and returned to her math.
Glancing out her window after she'd finished a page of homework, Abbey saw it'd become extremely foggy. Kneeling on her bed so she could see better out the window, Abbey found the fog was so thick, you couldn't see much of anything.
Until she saw something dark in the distance of the fog.
Heading outside to investigate armed only with her wits, she walked towards the figure in the fog. Coming closer, she saw "snakey arms" extending from the figure, whom upon closer inspection, seemed to be a tall guy in a buisness suit. Scared out of her mind by the sudden arms growing out of the man's back, Abbey turned and ran as fast as she could back to her house, managing to just make it in her front door and slam it shut.
Running up to her mom's room, she found that neither her mom nor her mom's boyfriend were there, like they'd just up and dissapeared. The dogs were nowhere to be found either. Hearing a pounding on the front door, Abbey dove into her mom's closet and hid behind her jackets.

The next part involves blood on a wall, no gore, but I wanted to put it in Spoiler Tags anyway.

Enjoy trying to get to sleep tonight!

Well I hope she at least died from lack of blood and not from burning into a disfigured corpse inside a closet, that’s a very depressing image D: I can, like, hear the screams for mercy in my head /lolnightmares
Where is le family? Did Slenderman take them or were they able to escape? Or maybe she imagined the whole “going-out-with-the-family” thing and had been under his influence from the start but only noticed it too late? This story demands a part 2 with all of these questions explained!
