    Skyrimified Characters

    So I was bored tonight and tried making a few of my characters in Skyrim. I have an alternative start mod so it didn't take long to make each one, and I didn't bother trying to find the right clothing. My characters I didn't make were pretty much impossible to make in Skyrim as they were too young or a different race, though I think there's a character creation mod that could make that possible.

    A rather inaccurate representation of Donovan and Inga as bandits:

    Lots of things including hair, body shape, facial features and obviously clothing is wrong in these, so if you're looking for Donovan and Inga's appearances, it isn't a good reference at all... at least the background was pretty.

    An actually decent try at Aria:

    This is a better job than the other two. She happened to start with similar clothing, and I guess the hair was close. She's even got the sword on her hip, just not the exact right type. I also snuck into a locked house just so the picture's setting somewhat fitted her story.

    I might post more of my characters if I find a way to create them more accurately. I could try making your character too, if you want. I might not do a very good job, however :P

      I wouldn't be surprised, it's a tempting thing to try... I had been wanting to do this for a while but I never had a game with the right style character creation.

        The only other detailed character builder that I can think of right off is the Sims series. That works equally well because you are able to detail just as much as Skyrim and then some. Plus add in custom created clothing or what have you, and you could flesh out a character pretty good.

          Actually, I have the Sims Medieval and I tried making one of my characters a few months ago. It would work well, but from what I can recall, the problem was that the first character you make has to be the king or something, and the king has limited clothing. So I think I would have to play for a while until I can make other Sims, and it would take time. But perhaps there's a cheat that would make it easier. Maybe I'll look at it again. Also I think there might be a Skyrim mod where someone imported the Sims character creation into Skyrim, I'm not sure.

              I was just looking at skyrim mods and I think I'm wrong. But I know there's at least a Skyrim mod with a bunch of imported Sims hairstyles :P And there's another mod that makes character creation more detailed, haven't tried it but I think it makes it just as detailed as the Sims 3.

                Yeah I have Sims 3 and you can make majorly detailed characters, up to even changing things like the slight position of the nostrils as well as their circumference. You can even make the ears pointed so that they looked elvish, if I recall correctly. It could work wonders to create characters, and there's no limit to when or how many characters you create.

                  I tried Ayberk out cuz I got a mod that allowed me to give him the right dark blue skin tone, but with the lighting you can't really see the color well. I only spent a few seconds on him... And the second picture is just a ***ier Aria

                    Not bad, not bad. I can also point out a few mods that adds tunics and what have you. Not to mention I can recolor outfits too

                      Second try at Donovan, a bit better than the last on but still not too accurate. I went a bit more in depth and I think making him a Breton instead of Nord worked better... his hair is actually dark blue, I tried to keep it subtle but I could still see the blueness fine in-game, it just looks kinda black in the screenshot. Since the last attempt I figured out how to do player.additem so I tried to get decent clothes but they still don't match Aow Donovan very well... I suppose there's a tunic mod that would work well, and it would probably have to be recolored to Donovan's purple and blue but don't worry about it, I'm not trying that hard to recreate my characters. He also doesn't have his long blue Link hat, but I suppose that was used to bandage Kaida during their adventure. Also during their adventure, he never shaved so I gave him some fuzz. Oh and he's got some darkness around the eyes cuz he's supposed to look a bit unhealthy.

                      Anyone want me to take a shot at making their character? I might be able to actually do a good job if they're normal looking, unlike my characters who I for some reason gave blue hair and colorful outfits :P

                        I'd love it if you would take a crack at some of my characters. Tyra, Sephira, Amaya, and Malina would be my first choices, although if you want to do any of the others, I'd love to see what you came up with.
                        And one of these days I'm going to get on my Sims Medieval and make some characters. I'll probably make Malina first, since she's the only one that's a king/queen. :P

                          I was hoping you'd speak up I feel like you're characters would be easier to make. I also have an armor mod that includes a pirate outfit, so Tyra will be especially fun (IF I can find the item ID for it). The outfit won't be perfect, though. I'll think I'll do her first. Not doing anything today, so I'll probably make a few :P I actually think that making other people's characters will be easier for me because since I didn't make them, I don't have a perfect image of them in my head. However to the owner, it might not look as good.

                            Kaida actually came out a lot like I had imagined her, but I never had a definite image of her in my mind. Biggest difference is her hair, but I thought this one still worked, and she looks like a mercenary to me. Armor was also different, cuz in Skyrim you either wear clothes or armor, not clothes under armor. And the armor of course isn't quite right. I'm still happy with how it came out though, got her some green slanted eyes like in her description. There was an even more upward slanted option but it seemed too exaggerated.

                            I think Tyra also came out good, but it's much different from how I imagined her because I thought her hair was blonde and she had a hat :/ I made sure she had a pirate cutlass and the smirkiest mouth for the sassy personality. There's one shot on a ship but it's all snowy and dark even though it was taken in the middle of the day. Then I went into a building for lighter pictures.

                              Sweet~ They definitely came out looking good. Kaida especially looks great, despite having a different hairstyle. That does it, I'm getting on Sims Medieval right now so I can start making my own. :P

                              The reason you thought Tyra was blonde with a hat is because of the picture I use to help visualize her outfit in the app. :P
