So I wrote this on a whim for the anniversary this December, I know, hella early, but I was too excited about it, and I want to post it before I learn to hate it.
~
You say blood runs thicker than water, family will always come before friends, but you’ve never met Age of War.
They say everybody on the internet; aside from you of course, is a pedophile. Greasy, thinning hair, wrinkly hands they wring, waiting to whisk you away.
But they’ve never met Age of War.
Friends come and go, that’s true, but never had I had so many friendships with people so far away last so long.
Some people say Internet friends don’t last forever, that they’re meaningless.
But some people don’t know Age of War.
The site is like my second home, one I can always get to, even if we’ve moved around a lot. I’ve done a lot of growing up since joining the site, and I’ve only improved as a person.
I know I can always come home in the end.
And I can always come back to Age of War, no matter what.
