    What do you Play? (Skyrim)

    So with talk of Skyrim all the time, here's what I was thinking we can do. Below, let's talk Skyrim and mods. So below you can share your mods and any recommendations.

    To start off, I typically play mostly graphic enhancements however, there's a few others I roll with. That said, I highly recommend the Towns and Villages Enhanced mods. There was some after-effects added to the photos, but for the most part, it adds extra flora and fauna to settlements to make it look more lively.

    A second set of mods I use is Sounds of Skyrim where extra audio effects are added around the different environments. It's most notable in settlements and buildings.

    Alright, I might have to get that first mod there, Kairu. The look of vanilla Skyrim is getting old for me. I should get a weather mod too, but I think the last one I got made my game slower or something. I dunno.
    I have a few mods that change character creation like RaceMenu and added warpaints and hair, but they aren't anything amazing. One mod I have that I really like is Immersive Armors/Weapons just to add armors and weapons to the game while keeping to the lore. Similar to that is Cloaks of Skyrim, which just adds a bunch of cloaks to the game. I also have a mod that simply shows all of Skyrim's roads on the map, which can be helpful.
    SkyUI is also nice to have, it just organizes the interface a bit better. I didn't like the look of it at first, but now I like it more than vanilla. Interesting NPCs adds like, 200 NPCs to the game with lots of quests. Their voice acting is good enough for me, but early in my use of the mod I could tell who was vanilla and who was modded in. One of my favorite mods I have is the Alternative Start mod. I use it so my other characters aren't Dragonborn, but for example they can start out as a patron of an inn, a bandit, a soldier and a lot more options. You can still start the game normally by choosing the option that you crossed Skyrim's border illegally. I think this is a great roleplaying mod that gives every character had a different story.
    I recently got a mod that adds a Giant race to the game but I have yet to try it. And of course theres the mod to make women prettier. There's also a bunch of other mods I have, but they're pretty insignificant.

      Yeah, I neglected to add that I had SkyUI, Cloaks of Skyrim, and better map and cartographer's map icons.

        I got a mod that lets me build dwemmer mechs, and one that adds in all the items of zelda for you to craft.
        Oh yeah and a deadpool follower mod, thats the only one I use cause I want to keep my first character vanilla mainly, but my next character im gonna go crazy on mods.

          As a note, the Towns and Villages Enhanced mod caused my game to not launch whenever I installed it.

          That said, I highly recommend Immersive Armors and Immersive Weapons, as well as a mod to remove Argonian tails and the Argonian Skintones mod. I play Argonian characters quite a bit and the skintones change it from shades of green to pretty much every colour of the rainbow. Cloaks of Skyrim, as well as Winter Is Coming are excellent mods if you like capes(I believe a compatibility patch is required to run both simultaneously). For people who like immersion, a mod with a name along the lines of Immersive UI or the like hides the HUD with the press of a button, and I believe can be configured to show it whenever you enter combat. Frostfall and Wet and Cold are also good mods for attending to the needs of your character(One or both of these mods requires a compatibility patch to run with Cloaks of Skyrim and Winter Is Coming). Convenient Horses makes having a horse in the game worth it, as it has an inventory and it will automatically loot anything you kill while mounted and can be set to distribute certain kinds of loot to your inventory and other kinds to the horse's inventory. Also works well alongside Frostfall.

          SkyUI is also good, not only because it includes an interface that works well on PC but also lets you access the MCM, or Mod Configuration Menu. It lets you configure mods like Frostfall and Convenient Horses, and allows you to tailor them to your needs and also to easily uninstall the mods. I also recommend Mining Motherlode Mod(On Steam Workshop) as it changes the amount of ore you get from a vein from 3 to 50. While some may find it unbalanced, I don't, as it's much more of a time investment and it weighs you down more. I also recommend a follower overhaul mod, particularly Extensible Follower Framework. It changes follower management to a menu system(Which allows you to access dialogue options if you choose), raises the follower limit, and in my experience plays the nicest with other mods that use followers. Moveable Statics, along with its DLC expansions, is nice for house mods that maybe just don't have that box in the right spot or for slight conflicts between mods(i.e. a mod adds a barrel, which is in front of a door added by another mod).

          In terms of graphics, I don't use ENBs due to the weakness of my computer, however the Saturation Boost mod on the workshop, as you may guess, ups the saturation of the game overall, removing the washed out landscape with brighter greens. I recommend it over the Contrast Boost mod, both of which are by the same author.

          While I stay away from house mods generally, the Asteria mod, the Breezehome Overhaul mod and the Gipsy Caravan are all exceptional. The Asteria adds a Dwemer airship for your home. The creator is planning to add a feature which allows you to dock the ship in different locations, if he/she has not added it already. Breezehome Overhaul changes Breezehome's layout, adding a basement to the house, and allows you to add full crafting amenities as well as a secret exit and extra storage, among other things. The new additions play well with the original additions, and they are fairly priced in my opinion(I recommend Moveable Statics with this mod, as an unknown conflict put some crates over a staircase and some carpets in thin air). Gipsy Caravan is more of a roleplaying mod, as it adds a wagon you can pull with your horse. The wagon has all the crafting stations and several storage solutions. It somewhat forces you to stop using fast travel, however. If you get the wagon stuck, there's no removing it so frequent saves on top of autosaves are recommended. It's also a bit glitchy if followers get in the way.

          I can't find a file that has links to the modpages on my laptop, which I was sure I kept, but I've included all the titles and most are fairly popular and unique. I recommend using the Nexus if it is an option.
          So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
