    Ghosts: Legends, Friendly Spirits, or Wrathful Wraiths?

    I'm Christian, which means I believe our souls go on to an after life. As such, I do believe there are ghosts. However, I do not believe that ghosts will remain attached to a house, object, person, etc. I believe that if a spirit remains on earth, it is because the person has something he/she needs to finish, whether it is taking revenge for his/her death or passing on a message to a loved one. I very much doubt that a spirit will remain after it has finished its business.

    So how about you? Do you believe in ghosts?

    I believe there is some kind of afterlife, but I believe more in ghosts. I've seen them. the first time was when I was five, my great grandmother appeared at the end of my bed and said "tell everyone it's going to be ok" or something like that. I don't rememeber it, it comes from a story of my childhood that I've been told by my mum, I believe it though because what child can think that up when they are that young, espically after my great grandmother just died.

    the next experience I actually kinda remember, I was about 9 or 10, I remember watching this ghost with blonde shaggy hair walk around the house, and whenever he realised I was watching he would come and scare me. freaked me out so much I told myself it was not real I was just imagining it..... this went on for a year or so until I think I blocked out my ability to see ghosts.

    now, I often feel things or hear voices, but I'm not sure weather it's real or not.

      Anyways, I think ghosts are complete and utter fairy tales, not unlike some other things I MEAN I don't think they exist.
      So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
      My 3DS Friend Code is 3437-3052-8998. I'm usually playing the MH4U demo or MH4U(When it comes out), but I'd also be down for 3DS Smash Bros.

        I believe in ghosts.
        When we take pictures of my house sometimes, you'll see an orb, and I think that's my gramma.
        She never shows up in pictures of me taken for the Internet (Admin Pics, etc) or pictures with a bunch of people around me.
        But in pictures of just the house there's an orb, and I still think thats gramma.

        My aunt also said there was a man-ghost that messed with her when she was gardening, and a little-girl ghost my little cousin often saw.
        There's supposed to be a teenage-boy ghost there too, and I think my sister said she saw them. Not sure.

        But they're only allowed to come in when they're invited, and my cousin accidentally invited the one that bugs my aunt when she gardens, so we had to burn sage and kick everybody out, but invite in the little girl again.

                Well I can't really answer the question. You see, my family on my mom's side has so many ghost stories I can't even begin to tell you how many. It is pretty clear that side of my family is fairly "haunted". But, even with all those stories I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts. But, I'm not saying they are completely and utterly unreal and what my family has seen is simply tricks of the mind. The way I like to put it is that I'd rather not know if ghosts are real or not. If they are, fine then they're real. If they are I hope they're good and sort of like the "spirit watching over us" sort of deal. But if they're evil, then I'd rather simply have no interaction with them. If they're not real then they're not, the end.
                So you see I can't answer the question properly because I choose not to believe or disbelieve. I live by a "I don't meddle in that type business and it doesn't bother me" policy.
