I personaly beleive that you either go to heaven or hell "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest any man should boast, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Genesis1:26-28

Personally, I feel like Religion is the biggest bullcrap story man has told. My main points come from George Carlin, the famous comedian. Link to his point of view here: http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...?v=MeSSwKffj9o

He makes a great point that seeing the so-called God helps credibility that it exists. In addition, if God truly created this world, then he did a terrible job. And I say he, cuz George opened my mind to the fact no woman, by nature, would let it get this bad.

Now onto my own points on the Bible, I view that it's a sham as well. I mean, the first real documentation of the Bible is reported to have been writtent 800 years AFTER Jesus' death. 800 years is an awful long time for the oral stories to get effed and create this idea of "Religion". In addition, who is to say these men are chosen to write the articles, and to slather it all with butter, the Roman-Catholic Church has revised and edit the Bible more times than one can count, even in our own lifetimes.

Now the idea of Heaven and Hell. To be honest, I hope they exist, maybe not a God or a Devil, but perhaps a communal group of Angels, and that would support why the planet sucks now. There have been "reports" that the Angels exist and that they are on the brink of a civil war. In which case leads me to this point about God. How come in addition to his "purity and perfection" his angels are fight? That doesn't seem very Heavenly. Now about Heaven and Hell, God determines if you're a good or bad person. If you're good you go to Heaven, bad, you go to Hell. At this rate, everyone is going to Hell. And that has angered the Almighty and yet we are suppose to believe that he loves us?

Sounds like a sham to me. Well that's my opinion

I watched that video, and I laughed a lot. I was still, and still am an athiest, and i have my own idea of how things work.

So, one somebody or some animal dies, their soul leaves the body. At that time, another person or animal is concieved, and that soul that just left the now dead body inhabits the newly concieved body.

This kinda states past and future lives; reincarnation, ect. You don't choose your new body, nor do any of your past lives. The soul is "erased" of all memories, thoughts, actions, ect of the former life, and enters the nearest newly concieved body.

Although, people say "Were you soandso in your past life?" maybe you were, not everything's perfect, and maybe the soul's past "life" influcenced the one it's taking now.

Ghosts are a whole nother story. Ghosts are spirits or souls that decided to stay roaming the world out of bodies. Good ghosts and bad exist, and I belive in them. Just, don't piss them off too much, and they shouldn't bother you D: If you see a problem, call in profesionals to sprinkle Holy Water or burn some Sage. If that still doesn't work, a lot of times, you have to just move out of the house. If a spirit follows you, you might be screwed. Maybe not, I don't know.

Auras are a whole nother story. Not sure what I belive with them, so I'll leave that debate shut...

I disagree about ghosts. My grandfather, may his soul rest in peace, was never satanic. In fact, he was Catholic, but he's one of my family's guardian angels. He's been with me since I was 5. My uncle Chuck, another example, been with the family for years. Personally, I think you're getting poltergeists and ghosts mixed up. Ghosts can be bad, but most aren't. Poltergeists are straight up evil. Usually defined as evil spirits whose ages range between 12 and 25 are angry from their previous lives and are bent on revenge before they move on. Most ghost stories, from what I have heard in my life, aren't evil at all. They care about their old lives and just want to convey a message. My opinion of course. :P

(PS, please stop adding PMing about the discussion. Should there be a private topic or opinion, don't post. :P After all, you only have so much room for PMs)

Personal experiences. That's my proof. The house I used to live in growing up in Michigan was a conduit for the family ghosts. The house has been in the family for generations. I have personally talked to my grandfather's ghost. My mother has experienced seeing my Uncle Chuck. My great-grandmother could see and talk to ghosts with ease, I've seen her do it. My best friend has seen one before when he stayed the night. And I'm sure there are more than just us in the family who have experienced it. So unless we are all crazy, they exist. At least to me. However I'm willing to admit a lot of people claim ghosts when it isn't or can be debunked. But who's to say I'm right? Haha

I believe that ghosts exist, yes. My neighborhood was built on a native american graveyard, so I've had my share of ghost sightings, including this one girl that sits on the corne of your bed..my neighbors have seen that one as well.

Meanwhile, I have some gripe about a little book sometimes called the bible.
The bible was written not only 800 years after Jesus's death as Kairu stated, but as they wrote it there were votes to decide such things as Jesus's divinity and which Gospels to unclude. VOTES. Voting does not sound like a way to hail the son of god, does it?
Interesting story book to be sure though.
