Guys, so I'm checking my normal feed when posted a about the new game. Below is the share.

Skyrim and Wind Waker are two of my favorite games, and if it really ends up like that, this is friggin amazing... too bad I don't plan on getting any more Nintendo consoles. Cool share though Kairu

I cant look at the "link" (←Most overused LoZ joke EVER) due to my 3DS, but I assume your not reffering to hyrule warriors, but the new one with the bada$$ octorock robot thing, and I honestly hate Ejji Annoumu (←Im decent at english, not japaneese ok?) guts for it.
      Why?
He is making my 3 way tear even harder to handle.
On one side of it, I want the Wii U badly.
But anothe side says "But all you ever play is me!" (That would be the PC side), my 3'D side says "Screw them bolth, Im the only one who will get wuantam break and alan wake 2! (My Xbox One side).
In the middle I see that all I want on the wii U are the new LoZ games, but Ill probably never play them because PC is where Ive sunk all y money into.
BUUUUUUUUT on the Xbox One there are several exclusives I want, and Im almost willing to buy a XBO just so I can play titanfall.
Yes, Im that anti origin, dont ask me why, just roll with it.
Ejji has made my inner console war worse, but I must say, I LOVE the artstyle they're going with!
Ive always been drawn to cel shaded stuff for whatever reason...
In a (deku) nutshell, new game looks INCREDIBLE!
      Crap. I lost my signature!

I do like the fact that it is open world, but this also makes me worried. First, I didn't like Skyward Sword that much, so if this ends up being a lot like that, I'm going to be very disappointed. Second, I'm no stranger to open world games. In fact, I love open world games. GTA, Saints Row, Minecraft? Yep yep yep. This puts the bar at a very high place for me, and if the game fails to meet my standards, I will laugh about it while beating Link up as Megaman in the new Smash Bros.

Speaking of which, I'm going to make a thread about the new Super Smash Bros. A lot of stuff I've learned that needs to be shared.

My really big fear for this new game will be that with open-world exploration, that dungeons and quests will fall more in line with MMO-style. Talk to Person A and receive Quest > Go to Mission Location > Follow waypoint to mission objective > Complete Mission Objective > Talk with Person B and open Option B > Return to Person A or B. It's so overused. However, I felt that every dungeon/location should be accessible with exception of story parameters such as: When entering Castle Town, if Ganon attacked, then Castle Town destroyed; else Castle Town enter-able. Various conditionals like that. Instead every dungeon IE Forest Temple should be accessible at the start however, certain items and areas should be limited until you find a various array of tools. Like you can get to the end of a dungeon, but a shorter option can be accessible with bonus loot with the right equipment. With that idea, Nintendo can keep their item driven story line, but at the same time, respect the open-world behavior.

Yeah, I agree with you, Kairu. I also kind of fear that with focus shifting to the open-world, the difficulty level and the quality of the puzzles will drop. I know the second one would disappoint a big group of fans, and it seems like the recent games have been too easy for most fans. Hopefully, with this game, Nintendo can realize that they don't need to tone it down for the little children who get their hands on the game. This generation is plagued with games that are pretty easy compared to older games. However, I'm not saying they should return to that difficultly. They need to find the perfect balance. Easy enough so that it isn't Nintendo's version of Dark Souls, but hard enough that it isn't the complete cakewalk that I heard ALBW was.

Oh yeah, ALBW was a utter cakewalk.
I had finished litterally 1 LoZ game in my entire life, it was spirit tracks (seems like that game got alot of hate, but I cant figure out why), it took me about six months (THOSE STUPID FLUTE SEGMENTS WERE BORDERLINE IMPOSSIBLE OK?), and I finished ALBW in one sitting.
The story was boring as all getput to, and to top it all off, nintendo wanted to make everyone belive Yuga, was in fact, a dude.
              Im kinda thinkin not.
I think if the new game takes its ques (←Is that how thats used?) from skyrim as far as quests, it should do alright.
It would also be neat if they allowed you to build your own house.
              Lil nod to animal crossing.
Now, Z, why didnt you like skyward sword?
I never got to finish it cause my wii stopped playing wii games, but from what I played (Wich was a fairly large amount), I loved it.
Sure the controls could be clunky, but 75% of the time they worked for me, I see no way anyone could fail to enjoy it.

Batpool, I would explain it to you here, but this is a thread about the Zelda U title. However, I will send you a private message.

I'm not so sure the game should take inspiration from Skyrim, but if they do, and it works, then I can't complain.
