I just deleted two "new" members because of two reasons:
1) I never got the chance to moderate them
2) When I did verify their credibility, either their IP Address or their email (or both) came back with known spammer activity.
This concerns me deeply. The fact that two spam accounts got past my moderation. I've looked into the logs and am now inquiring individuals who assisted with this event (intentional or not). I want this to be a friendly reminder to everyone. I keep that announcement up at the top because it's active and a reminder. When a new user signs up, I check them against the world's largest spam database list to verify their credibility. Please do not pre-register or moderate registrations of friends. EVERYONE goes through the checkpoint. I even did it with the TNO members even though I knew them. It's my solid way of making sure that the forum stays spam-free.
