Ailun kept a blank expression. "Ailun. But don't think this makes us friends." He looked and saw the entrance to the Woods of Winter. He saw two paths, and chose the second one. He turned to the others. "My camp is this way. Judging by the time of year and the position of the sun, by the time we get there, we'll have some light to hunt and then we can build a fire for the night." He started into the path, then turned around. "Well? Sun ain't waiting for us!"

Sanura sighed with annoyance. Figures the two guys would like each other, but had either asked her name? No. Had either really been talking to her when they gave their own? Of course not. Probably the smartest one of the group, or at least the most knowledgable, and they were ignoring her. And why would that be? Because she was a woman? Because she had obviously been raised noble, while they were peasants? Because she was on a horse, and was therefore higher than them? Sanura sighed. It didn't matter. Except for her beautiful dark brown horse, she was alone. As usual. Born to servants, but raised by noble people. Zylan was the only person who didn't care if she was noble or sevant, male or female. "Just as long as I feed you, huh," she whispered to him, then she gently tugged the reins to follow Ailun.

Vaeln hoisted a bag of his stuff over his shoulder. He mounted his temporary horse, and spurred it off. He hoped to be in Moblin's Keep by the end of the day, and a small crew of those who wished to restore it were following behind.
