"Sure," Elliot said, walking towards James and signaling for him to go ahead and lead the way. He glanced at Rose. "I'll be back later, okay? Us guys are going to leave now so you can have your girl time. Oh yeah, before I forget, James..." He carefully dug into his satchel and pulled out a small, lidded container. "I brought back some soup for you from last night." He set it down on the counter. "It was supposed to be for your dinner, but, well...it's not dinner time anymore."

James smiled and said, "Well, it'll be dinner time tonight again." He nodded at Rose and before leaving said to Ammy, "Please tell Sephira we'll be back later!" By then he was already half out the door. As he walked he listened to the hum of the town around him, everyone living their usual lives without worrying about memory losses and girlfriends that turned into birds covered in flames. He looked back to see Elliot following behind him, having closed the door to the house with a thud. James slowed his pace down just enough for the guy to catch up with him. "So, I was thinking," he said as soon as Elliot was next to him, "maybe we should take a detour before going for breakfast. Take a nice walk in the field, you know? With everything that's going on I...I think maybe you'd like that." He smiled warmly at his surrogate dad. "Shall we?" he asked.Comment

rose smiled "sure that sounds nice" she said, as the two guys left. she saw a chair and sat down. she was hungry but she also had a lot on her mind. she sighed, ignoring that other girl in the room "I'm a burden on him" she said sadly, more talking to herself.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

"That sounds like a nice idea," Elliot said, not quite wanting to return back to the house just yet. The emotional tension in there was just too suffocating for him right now. Plus the weather had gotten a lot nicer. It was still a bright warm day. After experiencing that dreadful weather, this was a welcoming, happy change. "And while we walk, you can tell me all about the mischiefs you've been up to," he added, sticking his tongue out at James. He gave the boy a playful nudge on the shoulder, then ran out into the fields. "Race you!" he shouted back teasingly.

Star flicked her ears as she heard the Gerudo speak, but only glanced at her. The cheetah could be comforting, but she wasn't for all two-legs. She would comfort those she felt like when she wanted to, except Sephira. Star would be at the girl's side immediatly if she could when her mistress was distressed.
Midnight, however, was the opposite. He walked over to Rose and bumped her knees, giving a low whine. He didn't like seeing anyone upset, no matter who they were. There were exceptions, but precious few. After all, Sephira didn't hate very many people.

Sephira wandered around the town, just enjoying the bustle of people waking. She herself didn't like the noise and crowded conditions, but she enjoyed the busy atmosphere. If she had to be squeezed to enjoy it, she could deal with it. Still, every time someone came a little too close to her, her hand would slide towards her sword before she stopped it. She really needed to buy herself a knife. Less conspicous and combersome. She did have that knife she used when she was carving, but she didn't trust it in a fight. Besides, it needed a new edge, and stuff kept coming up to prevent her sharpening it.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

rose looked down at midnight "you are a beautiful boy, you know that right" she said, stroking his silky coat. rose smiled sadly at him as she did, she was so confused plus she couldn't help but feel like a burden on Elliot "maybe I should leave" she said, speaking more to herself "maybe I need to get a new life, it would probably be better for us both" she sighed and then laughed "but I'm way to selfish to do that"sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

Midnight bumped her hand and whined, trying to tell her that she should stay. He knew that Elliot wouldn't like her to leave, although he didn't know exactly why.

Sephira wandered through the market, examining baubles and trinkets she spotted, then continue walking. She wasn't in a buying mood. She was mostly just thinking about Rose and what to do about her. She was certain the Gerudo was trying to trick her, but she had no clue how to call her on it.
She sighed, deciding that she might as well head back to the house and speak to Rose, and prove to herself if the girl was really lying. However, she stopped buy a stall when she spotted a knife. It was similair to the one she had just bought for James, but instead of a sun on its sheathe, it had a moon. A beautiful white moonstone was inserted in the pommel. She picked it up and drew it. The blade glinted dangerously in the sunlight. Sephira smiled at it, then turned to the merchant and asked after the price.
The next half hour or so, Sephira bartered with the man, lowering the price so that she could buy the knife without becoming completely broke. She strode back to the house triumphantly with it sitting on her hip. She patted it, thinking that it solved her dilemma of needing a small blade for crowded areas like this. Plus, it matched James'.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Sephira entered the house and immediatly noticed crying. She followed her ears to find Midnight with his head thrust in Rose's lap. The Gerudo was crying. The Stari drew up short, confused. Normally Rose didn't cry. Was she maybe telling the truth about her memory loss? What in Nayrue's name was going on here?
Sephira glanced around, wondering where James and Elliot were. They should have been back by now. She crept over to Star. "Did the men get back yet?" The cheetah flicked her ears. Sephira's brow wrinkled with worry. "They just went out to get food. They should be back by now." She stoof and walked over to Rose. She patted Midnight's head, then knelt next to him and looked up at Rose. "Rose? I know you don't know me, but we were very close friends. You can trust me to keep you safe, okay?" She'd go look for James and Elliot, but first she had to calm Rose down. Midnight hated tears and she needed his nose.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Sephira smiled. "All right then." She turned to Star. "Come on, unless you want to sleep the day away."
The cheetah stood and shook herself. I was napping, not sleeping. There's a difference.
"Whatever you say, Star," Sephira laughed. "Midnight, lead the way, please?" The wolf bounded forward and the group hurried after him.

Gerrard only knew one place to look for them, Kakariko. He had heard something about them going there so he went, having no other lead. He spent a day walking all the way to Kakariko, and when he reached there he didn't see anything.
