    rose opened her eyes slowly "who are you?" she asked, seeing a guy standing over her.

    axel smiled at the girl "my name is axel" he said "I saved you from your fall"

    "oh" rose said, turning to look at James "im sorry about my little breakdown"

      James turned when he heard Rose's voice. "It's OK. I understand why you'd react like that. I probably would've too, had you guys not found me when you did." He smiled. "At least this guy was there to save you, I don't wanna know what would've happen if he hadn't been."

          James smiled when Rose smiled, after all it was a sign that she was better. "It's not your fault. I wanted to hurt him too, we all did but, once you get to know him you realize he couldn't have possibly killed him on purpose." He sighed, even if it was true he knew it was hard not being angry at Elwood. But, if Rose could get past that, then he would too. He smiled again.

            rose smiled at james "things will be alright, even if they seem like they wont, all we can do now is wait and see" rose slowly sat up so she could look at them better "maybe elliot will be reicarnated, maybe we will find someone like him again, who really knows..... but worse things could happen" rose didnt want to say the truth, but elliots death had cleared whatever block she had on her mind, she could remeber her whole life clearly again, but it was better if james didnt know it.

              Gerrard recognized a person he remembered as James as he gave someone a letter and they rushed off to a house. He was hesitant at first to follow them, but he eventually did. He heard sobs and comforting words when he reached the outside of the cottage, he did not want to go in case he disturbed them so he just waited outside; waiting for someone to come out.

                James smiled and nodded, before getting up. "Well, I came to the village for two things, and one of them was giving you the letter," he explained. He looked around the house, wondering what sort of things he needed to do before leaving. It was incredible that he had only spent one night here with Sephira yet he was worrying about the house before leaving. James turned to the two. "You know...we really need a fresh start." He sighed. "Sephira and I...we're leaving Hyrule, Rose. We need to find a new place to be, a better place. So, I guess I won't be needing the house anymore and with Elliot being gone..." He got closer to Rose and took out the keys to the house. He looked at them for a moment before breathing deeply and closing his eyes in deep thought. Out of the corner of his eye he had seen someone outside the house, but that person could wait.

                  rose looked at him for a moment in shock, but soon she shook her head "it would be nice, to get away" rose said "but if I leave I would just be running away from my problems, I'll be staying here"

                  axel, who had been quiet for a while, stood up "I give you my word, I'll protect the girl" he said "but first there is someone outside, I'll be back" he walked out the door to where the man was standing "what are you doing here and what do you want"

                    Gerrard looked at the person who confronted him, although he was tempted to make a witty comeback he decided to be nice for now. "I was just wanting to talk to James," He said. "I am kinda looking for Sephira, I need to apologize to some people."

                      James opened his eyes and smiled. "I know, I know you wouldn't leave. I," he clarified, "I was actually going to ask you if you'd want the house." He looked up now and tried to read Rose's reaction. "You're the closest thing I have to family left, even if you don't remember it, and I'm sure Elliot would've wanted you to have it." At this point he extended his hand with the key to her.

                        rose took the key smiling up and him "elliot's death" she said sadly "it snaped something in my mind, and when it snapped back, it was like i woke up after a long weird dream..... after so long, so much trouble, i couldnt do anything. I dont think ill eve be able to really understand why the goddesses took the one good thing in my whole life, but i will respect there choice and hope beyound all hope i find someone like him one day"

                        axel looked at the man for a moment before knocking on the door and walking back in the house "hey, uh, james. there is some man here to see ya... Is he your long lost lover or something, he said hes sorry for something"

                          James smiled sadly as Rose talked. He knew she had probably suffered as much as him from his death. "I'm sure you will," he said softly when she finished. Then Axel cam back in. "Lover, what?" James asked confused. He turned to the door to see Gerrard. He sighed as he understood. "No, he is an...was an old friend," he explained to Axel. Although he knew the guy was probably joking it was weird. He sighed again and smiled at Rose, "Guess I better see what he wants." With that he turned to the door and walked outside. He stopped in front of Gerrard and looked down for a moment. This was the guy who had murdered his mother, something he had only forgiven when her spirit asked him to. Finally he looked up. "Gerrard," he said, acknowledging his presence.

                            Gerrard looked at the boy, and suddenly images started rushing into his head.
                            Gerrard saw himself from a third person view, he seemed angry. He walked up to a house, and used some sort of magic to kill the person inside. Suddenly the thought popped in his head, the person was James' mom.
                            He woke up from the short experience and looked at James' with a sad look. "I am sorry," was the first words he said. "I do not know what went over me, when I was possessed it was like I couldn't control myself. I am apologizing and I hope you accept it." After he said this he backed off and waited.

                              James' face hardened. He thought for a moment before looking up. "I don't need an apology from you," he said. As much as the thought pained him, he had been able to forgive Gerrard the day he died. Still, it was hard talking with him. "What is it, Gerrard? I know you didn't come here just to say you're sorry." He wasn't trying to be rude, but the harshness was something he couldn't help. It was his way of dealing.

                                Gerrard was trying to find a way to say this, so he came up with a compromise "Just tell Sephira I said sorry, okay? I am truly sorry, and I hope I can do something or anything to reverse what I have done." With that Gerrard took a deep breath, and waited for James' response.
