Elliot sighed. Might as well tell her now. She had the right to know, after all. "Long story short, you wanted to go back to the Gerudo so that they'd leave our friends alone. I didn't want you to, because you always ended up getting hurt when you went there. There was a shout-fest and, well..." He bit his lip, recalling the exact last words he'd said to her before leaving. Then he'd found her, nearly dead and with all of her memories lost. It was as if his words had done a terrible thing to her. The very idea didn't do much to ease his guilt. "You don't need to apologize," he said quietly. "I understand why you wanted to go back."

Elliot smiled at her eagerness to know everything and proceeded to tell her all he knew about the friends they'd met on their adventures, leaving no detail behind. He especially spoke fondly about James, and on how much of a son he was to him. "Now I don't know if he'd consider you his mom," he said with a slight chuckle, "since, well, you two are near the same age and that'd be just a little creepy. But I know he likes you too. All of your friends do." He conveniently "forgot" to tell her about Joshua, hoping that the excluded information about the man would not remind her of how she'd apparently taken a liking to him. He felt a little dirty for doing so, but he reminded himself that all was fair in love and war.Comment

Agurin wandered the fields aimlessly, hoping he would find somewhere to go. he was battered bruised and dehydrated but he wouldn't let that stop him. every time he took a step, pain shot up his poorly bandaged leg. i need to learn how to bandage properly he thought. his knees buckled and he felt himself collapsing, he broke his fall with his arm and winced. he reached for his water skin to find it empty, he grimaced at it.
sheilding his eyes from the hot sun, he saw buildings in the distance I made it! he thought and ran the rest of way.Comment
