Kainis, who was crouched under a overhang on a barn, sat with his head in his hands. He was trying to process the information that his brother was dead. He thought that the bandit had been lying. He stood up and walked over to the others. "I'm going to kill them. I'll kill them all."So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Avalona looked up at them, still trying to steady herself. "Please, do spend the night and rest, and let Miss Lena and I tend to your wounds. It's the least we could do, after you helped to protect this farm. We have some stew as well, if you're hungry."Comment

Kainis accepted the stew. He could go for some food. He looked at the girl. "Stew would be nice, but I think I'l tend to my own wounds. Not to be rude, but I feel more comfortable myself." Elliot woke up feeling disoriented and dazed, pushing himself up from the bed before flopping back down again with a groan. Was it morning? It certainly didn't feel like he'd slept a lot. It took him a moment to realize that he'd been pulled from sleep from all the sounds and commotion coming from down the hall. He sat up and rubbed his warm face, running his hand through his messy hair a few times. His head was pounding and he felt groggy. Despite his less than excellent condition though, he couldn't help but give a small smile when he noticed Rose sleeping. Thank goodness she was getting some rest. He pulled the covers up to her chin and silently left the room, making sure not to slam the door.Comment

Rin thought the stew was delicious, "Avalona, this is great!" his belly was full for the first time in a week. he hated living off frog legs, but alas, they were the most abundant food sorce out there. "how did you learn to cook like this!"
he glanced next to him, Kainis had hardly spoke for the past hour and he hardly touched his stew. "what's troubling you?"Comment

Avalona blushed. "Thanks. Miss Lena taught me everything I know. There's more if you're still hungry."
Lena went over to Kainis. She took a soft, damp rag and began cleaning the blood from his knee. "Don't even think about arguing with me and trying to take care of it yourself. You're in no condition to be tending your own wounds."Comment

"oh he will," Rin laughed, "I've known him for about an hour, and I already know what hes like." he went outside and took his knife out, he started to tinker with his 'crutch'
he had an idea to turn it into a sword, as when they left, a trechorus journy befelled them. "Hey!" a passing traveler called, "May I please have some water?"

Rin limped back to the farmhouse. the pain wasn't great like before, thanks to avalonas hospitality. he longed to returen to his old home.
he knew the disspersing cloud of smoke in the distance was his home. he forced himself to look ahead, "I'm leaving with Kainis tomorrow" he told himself.
he gave a picher of water to the stranger, who left without a word. he went back inside and sighedComment

Rin was just at the door when he heared what Kainis asked. he stormed in, "You know what? i'm not gonna keep it from you any longer! The truth is, I have just enough desier for revenge as you! they killed my family and my friends! then burned my house to the ground, I got there a few minutes late. they left me with this!" he violently pointed to his leg, " I hate them just as much as you do! when we recover I will search at my old house for clues, tracks, and whatever else. I will see to my desire, and yours to rid these creatures of they're pathetic worthless lives!" he breathed heveley, "sorry, i needed to get that out, it's been so hard for me."Comment

"Yeah, I know what it's like to lose someone you love.... to have your family ripped away from you by death without warning, and there's nothing you could have done to stop it..... I know how much it hurts, how it feels like your entire world was yanked out from under your feet, and everything is spiralling out of control....
