Joshua glanced up and nodded to Rose as she appeared. He turned his focus back to the conversation. He couldn't make much out, as he had never been very good at listening, he had always tracked with his eyes. He glanced over when he heard Rose ask about training. "That girl Sephira seemed pretty good, though I didn't see her actually use that blade of hers. Mayhaps you can go find her?" He was curious why the Gerudo needed training. See, he didn't know Rose had lost her memory since he last saw her. He hadn't spent long enough with her afterwards.The wolf howls his mournful song,

Kainis had been listening to teh door closely. He was seated within a few feet. He heard stuff about learning to fight and gerudos, as well as someone named Sephira with a blade.
Probably the same one from that camp.
He got up, and walked over to teh door, throwing it open. He found three people. He looked at them. "OK, listen. We can all hear you, or at least I can. SO I figure if you want to learn to fight, or something, come in here, because I really hate hearing half a conversation." Before anyone could question him, he finished his statement. "Yes, I was eavesdropping. But that's in the past."So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Avalona stood suddenly. "Are you so eager to die? Do you really think your family would want you to die because of them? You keep trying to rush off to your death, and it's wrong! All revenge will bring is more death and more pain! Why would your family want so much bloodshed blamed on them?" She spun and ran to her room, crying.

Rin pondered Avalona's words maybe shes right, about everything. bloodshed can only lead to more bloodshed and if I continue down this road, I'm no better than them. I don't want others to die, I just... want to help them, protect them. my old life is gone and If I seek revenge, I wont truly get another chance. Kainis looked at the spot where Avalona had been. He was stunned.
Did I do that? What if she's right? What if this is what they wanted? They knew that my brother's death would anger me, then I'd go right to them. What if that's what they wanted?
He slumped against the wall. He was speaking out loud now, and his emotions were running high. "What if that's what they wanted me to do!? What if they're leading me into a trap! What if he's not really dead!?" He stopped suddenly.
What if he's not dead? What if they lied, played me like a lute? Maybe he's not dead... I can't give up hope.
He needed to take his mind off this. He took out a bladeshot, and then took off the lid, held on by four sturdy latches. He inspected the gears and chains concealed inside.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Avalona eventually cried herself out. She slowly made her way back out to where everyone was, wiping her eyes on her sleeve. She looked at Rin. "If you.... If you really want to go, then... Rin quickly stuffed his project into his backpack, for fear of spoiling it, "don't worry, It'll be fine. you were right, I don't need more blood in my life, you convinced me of that. I will go, but not for revenge, to help him. what is a life with no purpose? It seems your words helped Kainis as well." he gestured to Kainis, "you may not know it, but you are one of the most important people in my life since... since my family was destroyed." he took the charm.
