Kainis turned to the pair and raised an eyebrow in a smirk-like expression. There was obviously something between these two, and more than just friendship. He decided not to interfere. He knew what that felt like. His mind drifted, staring blankly off to the right, thinking of that feeling.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

“Heh, don’t worry, I understand,” Elliot said, trying to hide a smile. “You don’t need to apologize. I’m sure I’d be feeling pretty anxious myself if I suddenly forgot everyone I knew.” He brushed back a strand of hair that hung near her tempting lips and added, “I doubt I could ever forget you, though. No matter how hard a blow I took to the head.” He glanced back over at the man he’d previously been talking to. Thankfully, he appeared to be feeling better now as he saw him slip off into his own private thoughts. He decided to leave him be and quietly leave, not wishing to disturb and anger him further. He took Rose’s hand and led her towards their guest room. He couldn’t have taken more than a few steps when Midnight came slinking by and nudged him on the leg, making a sound that was a combination between a growl and a whine. Elliot wasn’t very adequate in the art of speaking wolf, but he thought he could probably guess what the wolf was saying. “You want to go back to Sephira, don’t you?” he said, kneeling next to the wolf. “Yeah, you’ve been away from her for a while now. Sorry about that. But I promise I’ll take you back to her once the sun rises. Let’s all just get some sleep, okay? Preferably without any more sudden deaths and the like."Comment

Kainis closed the door, got back into the bed, and drifted off to sleep, dreaming intensely. But this time, the dreams were different.
The girl looked at him, smiling. Her hair, slightly blonde, fell down to her shoulders. Kainis heard her scream as the arrow pierced her arm. His family screamed, and arrows flew at them too. Kainis grabbed his sack and bladeshots and jumped out a window. He ran, as hast as he could, fighting back tears to clear his vision. He had been in love with that girl, and she had been in love with him. Now she was most likely dead. He turned back in time to see his house flare up. That was too much for him. He sat where he was, thinking about what he had just seen.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

rose walked along side Elliot to there room "now you have made me feel bad" she said laughing a little "you wouldn't forget me, but I forgot you. your really great at making me feel better" she hugged him though, glad that he was alright and that he was with her again.sigpicI want to say a big thank you to zeke for making me the picture for my birthday.

“It’s what I aim for,” Elliot said sincerely, completely missing the hint if she was being sarcastic. He returned the hug with a kiss on her forehead, then gently ushered her into the room, followed by Midnight who made himself comfortable in a corner. He flopped onto the bed, not bothering to pull the covers over him. He stared up at the ceiling, his mind full of thoughts.Comment

Joshua opened the door for Avalona, then hesitated getting into the bed. Thus far, the only time he had shared a bed with anyone was when he was on his father's farm, sharing a bed with some of the slaves, and never with a woman. He looked at Avalaona. "You sure you don't mind sharing? I can sleep on the floor or something if you'd rather."The wolf howls his mournful song,
My heart beats as I listen to him.
It rises and falls as he speaks to the moon,
A chilling howl that fills me with joy.
The future isn't set in stone. Even if it was, stones can been broken.

Her light touch against his chest was like sparks from a fire, yet it sent shivers down his spine. The combination made his head feel a little light, as if he’d drunk one too many adult beverages. And he liked it. For a moment, he forgot all about the thoughts that had been racing through him. In fact, he probably would’ve forgotten to breathe, if he hadn’t realized just how idiotic he must’ve looked just staring at Rose. He was vaguely aware of her asking him a question and he quickly tried to pull himself together enough to get an answer out. But goddesses, did this woman have quite the effect on him. “Um…” He expertly maneuvered himself so he was in a more comfortable position without having moved Rose, all the while thinking about what he was going to say. “Just planning out the day for tomorrow, I guess,” he said. “How about you? How’re you feeling? Does your head hurt or anything?” At least she seemed more relaxed now, or at least she was acting that way.Comment

"Well..." Elliot began after a thoughtful pause, "Our lives crossed paths in Hyrule Field. I was camping out with others after we'd all just taken care of a mission. Let's see, I think it was me, Sephira, and James. Or maybe it was me, Sephira, and Amaterasu. Or maybe all four of us." He scratched his head, trying to remember every single detail, then shrugged. "Well it was something like that. Anyway," he continued past his senior moment, "the three...or four...of us were sitting down to a meal, when we suddenly caught sight of you peering out from behind the trees at us." His hand had found its way to Rose's back and rubbing it in circles. "And you looked so sad," he quietly mused. "Like a lost sheep. We just had to invite you over." He smiled at the next memory. "Of course, you didn't take too kindly upon me at first. I think you pretty much hated my guts." He chuckled, then stretched and gave a great yawn, feeling the pull of sleep once more. He snuggled deeper into the covers and rolled over onto his side, tossing an arm over Rose. "I'll tell you more in the morning if you want," Elliot said, yawning once more. "Right now, let's sleep." He rested his head on the pillow above Rose's head. Before he drifted off to sleep, he managed to mumble out in a muffled voice from his pillow, "Didn't realize it then. That I love you."Comment

Rose had fallen asleep halfway through the story, she had fallen asleep smiling with her arms around Elliot though. In her dreams it was all her memories of Elliot, how they met, how many times she turned him down, when they first got together.
