DAWN OF A NEW MORNING
The early morning light peeked through the cracks of the drawn curtains, greeting him with its warmth and the promise of a fresh new day just waiting to be conquered. Elliot stirred and opened his eyes. The side of his lips curled up into a lopsided smile as he saw Rose still sleeping contently and peacefully. He'd give anything to be able to keep her that happy.
For now, there were more pressing issues at hand.
He quickly but gently untangled himself from her, turning slightly red when he realized he'd fallen asleep with a little more than half of himself thrown over her and possibly suffocating the poor girl. He slipped out of bed and, still a little bleary eyed but feeling a lot much better than last night, walked to the bathroom to answer nature's call.

as soon as Elliot left rose started tossing and turning, and soon opened her eyes. "Elliot" she called sitting up, yawning "Elliot where are you"

“Be out in a second!” Elliot hollered back to Rose, peering out from the bathroom. He finished up his business, washing his hands, then drying them against his shirt. Then he walked back into the bedroom. He saw Rose sitting on the bed, yawning, and he smiled again, thinking she looked even cuter when she just woke up. Then his smile turned playful as he took a few steps back, then ran toward the bed, pouncing on Rose in the process.

rose smiled when Elliot entered the room but when he pounced on her she screamed in shock, then laughed. "come on get off of me" she laughed, pushing him away.

Elliot laughed at the priceless look that appeared on her face when he tumbled onto her and continued to hold her tightly, forcing her into a hug. He only let her go when he remembered that they had business to attend to back at Kakariko. Ah well, they’d have more time to cherish these moments later. Feeling energized now, he hopped off of the bed and walked over to where he’d placed his clothes. He needed to change out of the ones that Avalona had let her borrow. Thankfully, his had dried enough that it wouldn’t be uncomfortable to wear, although they were still a little muddy. Not that that bothered him, his clothes had been through a lot worse from his travels before, so he was used to it. Tossing the clothes over his shoulder, he turned to Rose and said, “Are you ready to meet our other friends?”

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be" rose said, grabing her clothing to chuck on "I just hope they don't think I'm lying" she sighed. once she was dressed she moved over to hug Elliot, glad to have him so close. he always did relax her nerves.

(Yay it's the morning.)

Kainis awoke. He felt rested, but his shoulder felt stiff and numb. He rubbed, then got out of the bed, turning and reorganizing the sheets and donning his cloak and scabbards. He walked outside and stood just out of the door. He breathed in a mouthful of fresh air, and smiled. This wound had reminded him how lucky he was to be alive. He had to cherish what he had while it would last.

Avalona woke up and quietly slipped out of the bed, careful not to wake Joshua. She hurried to her room and peeked in, sighing in relief as she saw that Kainis was no longer inside. She went in and changed clothes quickly, then headed out to the barn. "Good morning, ladies." She lifted the milking bucket from it's hook on the wall and went over to the first of the cows. "Hey, Pryda. How was your sleep?" She giggled as old Pryda lowed at her, sitting on the milking stool. "That's good to hear. But then again, you sleep well everynight, don't you old girl?" She began to milk Pryda, talking to her cheerfully while she worked.

Kainis turned as he saw Avalona head towards the barn. He left her to her buisness. He had bothered her enough with his wounds. She hadn't asked for any of this. He frowned as he mulled over his thoughts.

This is all my fault. Had I not ran over to see Rin, they bandits wouldn't have come. Avalona wouldn't have had to kill them. I'd be fine, and I wouldn't have been such a huge burden to everyone here.

He contemplated. He had to do something to make it up to these people.

I could help them with the work. But I'm terrible at that sort of thing. Perhaps train them some simple weapons skills, in the event of a future attack.

He looked at the sun. The ground was still moist, and he smiled as he breathed in the freshness that comes with rainfall.

“Aw, give them some credit, Rose,” Elliot said, giving her a shoulder a reassuring squeeze. “They’re your friends. They’ll believe you if you speak the truth and will be more than happy to help you in any way they can. Now why don’t you go on and see if there’s anything for breakfast? We should eat before we head out.” He started walking back to the bathroom. “I’m just going to get changed real quick.”

"sure" rose said, walking out of there room into the hallway "now where was the kitchen again" rose said to herself. she kept wandering around for a while and sighed "great, I just got myself lost. how smart am I" she sighed

Elliot finished tugging on his boots and pulling down his tunic. He hefted up his belongings and headed out the room, followed by Midnight who'd already been awake and ready to go a few hours ago. He started looking around for Avalona, not remembering which room she was sleeping in. He wanted to let her know they getting ready to leave now and wanted to ask if she still wanted to come along with him. Probably not. She probably had a lot to take care of on the farm now, especially what with the attacks that had come on so suddenly. He wished he could stay and help her too, but he also had to take care of Rose. He chose a door at random and knocked, hoping for her reply.

(wow, it's been awhile since I posted. :$)

Joshua woke rather slowly. He was warm under the covers, and he didn't really want to get out of bed, but after listening to his stomach growl for a few minutes, he decided it would be pointless to remain in bed longer than he had to. He stood and stretched, then made the bed and headed out the door. He made his way towards the kitchen, when he thought he heard Rose. He followed the sound until he found the Gerudo and smiled lazily at her. "Good morning, Rose. You looking for something?"

"oh hey" rose said nervous as she saw Joshua come up behind her "yeah, I kinda got lost looking for the kitchen" rose was blushing bright red by this point "I was meant to meet Elliot there"

Avalona finished milking the cows and carried the pail of milk inside. She went to the kitchen, smiling when she saw Rose and Joshua. "Good morning. What would you like for breakfast?"
