Kainis, who was mildly shocked by the fact a girl was voluntarily hugging him, grunted and tried to politely as possible push Avalona away. "Avalona, I appreciate the thought, but I do in fact have this thing called an arrow wound in my shoulder. Just saying." He rubbed it again to ease the pain.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

"thanks," he said, "but I think he needs them more," gesturing to Kainis. "not to be rude, of coarse." He went to work on his letter.
when he was satisfied with It's content, he read it mentally:
Dearest friends in Karriko,
I, Rin Flintlock, used to be a farmer contributing to your grain. however, a raid took place during the harvest. anything of value was pillaged, the rest burned or destroyed. My parents, Demetre and Allison Flintlock, were killed during the raid.
he couldn't help the tears welling in his eyes. he paused a moment before reading the conclusion.
