Thanatis smiled. He jumped around Vastol and tried a fast cut, then rolled and assumed a two-handed grip on his sword.

Vastol raised his knives as Thanatis jumped, keeping the swing from hitting his skin. Afterwards, he spun around, throwing his left knife in a straight line at Thanatis. As he did, he leapt up to slash down at his opponent.Comment

Thanatis was overwhelmed. He blocked the thrown knife but the slash came down across his left wrist. He slashed with his sword then jumped back again, nursing his wrist.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Vastol had hit his mark, but wasn't quite expecting a counterattack. He managed to notice it coming... And backflipped to try and avoid.
A bit of blood trickled from the shallow cut Thanatis had made. He pulled the chain, and caught his thrown knife.
"This has been interesting so far, don't you agree? Would you agree to a ceasefire?"Comment

Thanatis was weak. However, he gripped his sword tighter. "No, I'm fighting to the death. If you want to forfeit, that's your call, but I'm going to the end." He closed his eyes.
"As you wish... Then to death you shall go."
TOssing his knives out a bit, he grasped the chains and spun both knives around in vertical circles. He charged towards Thanatis, reeling the knives back.
As the two closed in, he swung both at Thanatis' head from both directions, as he charged at his neck with the middle of the chain, in an attempt to kill him.Comment

Thanatis tried to block the knife, but he felt one cut his neck deeply. He staggered and felt one cut his arm. He stumbled and fell, but the world started to go black. He could feel himself slipping away.

Vastol landed, his back to Thanatis' body. He pulled the chains, catching the knives in his hands once again.
"What a waste." He said, as he began to clean the blades. "And this'll wreck my doctor image for a while, too."
He turned and headed back to the camp, cleaning the blood from his weapon friend.Comment

Kainis ran into the field, when he tripped on something metal. He managed to roll to absorb the impact, then he stood and turned, nearly fainting when he saw the bloodied, armored body lying in the grass. He turned, looking around.
Is this the guy that the person in the cave killed?

Amaterasu followed Kainis quietly. "You have no idea where you're going do you?" she asked, stepping in front him. "Lake Hylia is to the South," she pointed out, starting towards the fences that kept the Blue Tecktites of Lake Hylia out of Hyrule Field.Old Age of War stuff here:

Kainis turned, slightly put off. "I know where Lake Hylia is, but perhaps, unlike you, I'm slightly flustered by fully armored bodies sitting in the middle of fields." He turned to the fences. "Well, that won't be a problem." He twirled a bladeshot in one hand, then ran off to the gates.

Kainis stopped briefly to rest. The sun was beginning to set, but it was still hot. He looked around and saw a small farm, and a person running towards it. From what he could see, the person was badly injured, and he seemed to have a slight limp. He ran towards them.
Wonder what's so important. Perhaps that farm will have some sort of food.

Vastol returned to the fields, passing Thanatis' decomposing body. He covered his mouth and nose. "In hindsight, a cleanup should've been in order after this. Aw, that's really disgusting." He ran onwards, heading to Lake Hylia.
Annika stopped and stared at the body for a few seconds, even with her nose covered. For a second, she remembered what it felt like to pierce his body.
Snapping back to reality, she ran off, following Vastol.Comment
