Sephira raised an eyebrow at Elwood when she heard him waking up. It was a wierd noise he made, but she didn't comment. She called a good morning to him, then turned back to James. She smiled in answer to his smile and kissed his forehead. "Good morning, James," she said. She turned to Elwood. "How are you feeling this morning?" she asked. He didn't look as pale or tired as he had last night. She wondered if he could conserve energy for a while, like Midnight always seemed to, and was dead tired when he ran out of his store. It would explain why he was able to keep up with Midnight so easily. Usually, only Star could match the wolf.

James sighed happily when Sephira smiled. So she wasn't going to kill him for not waking her up. He sat up and brushed some hair from his eyes before looking at Elwood. He looked thoughtful. It took him a minute to realize the Kokiri was checking his muscles to see if they hurt. After a minute or so he smiled.
"I feel fine," he exclaimed. James smiled, even if he resented the guy, it was good that he felt better. Finally he got up to his feet and stretched fully. He looked around the field while clutching at his neck, at the pendant. He had forgotten it was Sephira who gave it to him, but he liked to hold it while he observed something. Finally he decided he needed to get to the house. He turned to Sephira and smiled.Comment

Sephira nodded to herself. There must be something special about Elwood, although she couldn't figure out what exactly. She turned to James. "When were you planning on going to Kakariko? I need to write that letter if you want to do it soon." She glanced over as she heard rustling and spotted her two partners walking towards her, their mouths full of leaves. Sephira smiled and greeted them, then sorted the leaves before putting them in her pack. She was a little surprised to notice a piece of bark in the pile, but recognized it as willow. When chewed, it expelled any poisons, and it was flexible enough to be used as bandages if neccessary. She patted Midnight, who had been the one carrying it. "Good find," she told him. She started to pack it away, but then realized she could use it to write her letter. She plucked a stick of charcoal from the fire and started writing her letter to Rose. After all, if she and Elwood were going to hunt for more herbs, she could get more willow.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

James nodded as she began writing. "I was planning on going now, actually," he declared. "After all, if we want to get far today, we should get going as soon as possible." He smiled at Midnight and Star, they were the smartest animals he'd ever met. Elwood was thinking for a moment before saying, "So I'm going with Sephira, right?" He was confused about this because he wasn't good at finding herbs but running fast he could do. James nodded dryly before turning back to Sephira, waiting for her to finish writing the letter.Comment

Sephira nodded distractedly as she signed the letter and looked it over. It was messy, since she hadn't written in a long time, but she felt it was still readable. She rolled it up and tied a small vine around it, then handed it to James. She gave him a peck on the cheek. "Thanks, James." Then she turned to Elwood. "Yes you are," she smiled. "You can help me reach some of the food that grows higher up the trees, and you can help me pull some of the plants to get their roots. If nothing else, I'll need someone to entertain Midnight when he gets bored. Otherwise he'll wander off on his own and then we'll never find him." James nodded as she turned around and put the scroll away. He said to no one specifically, "I'll be back in about two hours I'm guessing. I'll see you here. If I'm not back by then you can come looking for me." He smiled. "Good luck!" Soon he was gone, running through the field. It made his heart throb, leaving Elliot's pyre, but he had no other choice.
Elwood grinned, he could really help! Even greater, he would get a chance to continue his unfinished battle for glory with Midnight. He stood up in a flash and began walking around excitedly. "Where do we go now?"

Sephira smiled after James, then turned her smile to Elwood. "First, we need to head to the more wooded area. Keep your eyes open for any bushes, though. There are several that grow around here that might have something good on them." She whistled to Star and Midnight. The two trotted to either side of her and stood ready. Elwood was jumping with excitement. He rushed to Sephira's side. Even if in his mind he wasn't a little kid, he still grabbed her hand to make her feel safe. He looked around, everywhere, for a bush or a leaf like the ones Midnight and Star had gotten. If two days before he had imagined in two days he would be doing this, scouting for herbs to get ready to leave Hyrule for a while, he would have declared himself delusional.Comment

It was an uneventful and short trip to the forest. They did stop once or twice when someone spotted a bush, but most of them weren't useful. Sephira shrugged and kept moving. When they entered the forest, however, she asked Star and Midnight to keep alert for anything dangerous. She had lived her whole life in a forest, and she knew the dangers they could hide when they so desired. She drew her knife and handed it to Elwood. "Just in case one of the plants decides to be stubborn," she told him with a smile. She would prefer it if he didn't tank all the leaves off when he was trying to pull a plant. After all, several plants were useful for more than just leaves or just roots. She handed him a few leaves to keep an eye out for and told Midnight to stay by his side. Elwood glanced at the leaves and looked up as Sephira went away with Star. He had been about to tell her he could use the Kokiri sword but the knife would have to do. He looked down at Midnight who was staring at him expectantly. Elwood smiled and began looking around for something that matched what he was supposed to find. So far there was nothing. "Keep your nose *****ed, boy," Elwood whispered. Being so close to the forest, his forest, made him feel exuberant and hesitant. Sephira was having an easy time finding all the herbs she needed. There were a few that she couldn't find, but she felt those wouldn't be needed as much, since she was going to be coming along. There was little chance of them poisoning themselves. She did, however, make certain to stock up on the herbs for burns. She also grabbed some roots that when ground up and mixed with certain other herbs, gave the eater a burst of energy. It wouldn't last long, she knew, but it might be enough to help Elwood if he had another affliction like the one he had last night.
Suddenly, Star's ears *****ed up and she stood still, her nostrils flaring. Sephira paused and looked at her. She glanced around, then slid to the cheetah's side. "What do you smell?" she whispered in her ear.
People, I think, she answered. There is something else as well, though. I can't identify it, its scent is being over-ridden too much. I can't even guess what it is.
Sephira frowned. "Let's go see what it is. I'd hate to think an animal is being totured." The two crept forward, moving so carefully not even a twig snapped. They paused, hidden in the shadows, as they saw a trio of people lounging around a fire. They were roughly dressed and dirty, but in the way hunters are, not thieves or lumberjacks. Sephira watched them, trying to see what the thing Star scented was. Finally, her eyes alighted on a caged fairy. She pointed it out to Star. The cheetah agreed it was possible. Sephira settled back in the shadows, wondering if she should free the fairy, and if so, how.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Elwood continued searching with Midnight nearby. He had only found a couple more leaves like the ones Sephira gave him, but he was still proud of it. Suddenly Midnight sniffed the air. "What is it, boy?"
Titania was tired. She was a fairy, and she was used to being around her Kokiri. However, since Elwood had been attacked she had been captured by the stupid bounty hunters and she hadn't seen the boy since. Suddenly she detected something. It didn't take a hard inspection to notice someone was nearby. Without thinking she shook with glee and jingled. The hunters looked at her and grunted. She calmed down noticing her mistake but it was too late, they were alert.Comment

Ea sighed, feeling extremely bored. She looked around, fiddling with the bow in her hand. She turned, then stopped as she was three men around a cage. Inside was something that looked like her image of a fairy. She slowly took out an arrow and drew back her bow, shooting it into the ground by the hunters. She ignited it enough that it would stay alight, but not light any fires.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Sephira suppressed a curse as the fairy alerted the other men to her prescence. Thankfully, they didn't know her exact location yet, but she suspected it wouldn't take them long to figure it out. She decided the best thing to do would be to change locations, then climb a tree. She gestured to Star to stay put, then crawled back. When she felt she was far enough back that she could risk moving faster, she stood and darted to a tree. She scaled it as easily as a squirrel, then slid along its branches until she was able to hop onto a tree closer to the trio's camp. She did this until she was over them. There she sat, watching as she tried to formulate a plan. They all had swords, and she could see now that they were also armed with bows. She drew her bow and knocked an arrow, careful to keep from brushing any branches. Then she waited, though for what, she didn't know.
Suddenly, an arrow sprang in their midst and its tip ignited. The hunters drew back with startled yelps and curses. Sephira immediatly sent her own arrow into one of them. She hurredly knocked and shot another arrow. She started to knock a third, but the final hunter seemed to realize where her arrows were coming from. He drew his own bow and shot at her. Ea saw a girl shooting arrows. She sighed. What did these men want with that creature. She dropped her bow, as it was only a few feet away, and ran towards them, kicking the shoulder of one of them and slamming him into the ground, grabbing him by the neck.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
