Sephira swore profoundly as she tried to get her balance again. She glanced down and saw that her arrows had hit targets, just not the killing or disabling ones she had been aiming for. Her first had hit one in his arm, the second had skidded along another's face, leaving a cut across his cheek. She saw a girl run into the clearing and start attacking the men, and swore again. "Star!" she shouted. "Get in here before those three over-run her!" The cheetah charged in, leaped and grabbed one guy by the throat. His scream faded into a gurgle as she tore it out. However, his body fell on top of her, pinning her. Star yowled in frustration. Sephira, having finally regained her perch, shot an arrow into the man the girl was not grappling with. He dropped like a stone.

Midnight was still for another moment before running in the direction Sephira and Star had gone. "Hey, what's going on?" Elwood yelled as he trudged behind him. The wolf was definitely fast, but he was small and agile, so he kept up. Soon Midnight darted into a clearing where everything seemed to have erupted into a fight. The wolf hurried to Star who seemed in trouble. (and then Miss Chief RP'd what Midnight did because I dunno). Elwood, however, had only eyed for something else. "Titania!" he exclaimed in delight, rushing to the caged fairy. Titania in turn had started shaking and jingling at the sight of Elwood.Comment

Ea kept her hand on the man's neck until he lost consiousness. She then found rope and tied his legs and hands together and threw him next to a tree. She turned and saw a cheetah, then the other men on the ground. One with an arrow through his chest, and one who was missing his throat. She grimaced.
Was that necessary? What did that have to be done for?
She only barely managed to avoid someone running into the clearing towards the caged fairy.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Elwood didn't hesitate. He grabbed the knife Sephira had given him and scratched at the bars of the wooden cage until one of them gave way. Then another, and finally he pulled at the two sides with all his strength. After a few seconds, it broke in two. Titania flew free once again and it showered Elwood in fairy dust, greeting him like a best friend. Elwood was so happy he was glowing...or maybe it was the dust.Comment

Midnight, seeing Star pinned as she was, ran to her side and tried pushing the man over. Star tried helping by arcing her back, but she couldn't really lift him enough. Finally, Midnight just bit into the man shirt and dragged him off. Star sprang out and gave Midnight a appreciative lick. He nuzzled her back.
Sephira, seeing the coast was clear, hopped out of her tree. She glanced at the man who had been pinning Star and raised an eyebrow. "Did you have to be so violent Star?" The cheetah shrugged. Sephira rolled her eyes. "Fine, whatever." She turned to the girl. "Hey, thanks for your help."Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Ea turned to a girl with a bow, obviously responsible for killing the one man. She sighed. "Was it really necessary to kill those people? I mean, sure, they captured someone, but tying them up and leaving them by the tree worked just as well!" She grimaced and tried to avoid looking at what the cheetah had done to the other man.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Sephira shrugged. "It would have, unless they didn't have a knife or something. Then they would have starved to death, or been killed by a wild animal. And if they did have a weapon, chances are they'd chase us. And we'd have to end up killed them anyways." She glanced at the one Star had taken. "I suppose Star went a little over-board, though." The cheetah shook herself, unrepentant, then trotted over to a plant. She grabbed it in her teeth and pulled, then took the torn stem to Sephira. The Stari laughed. "Trying to distract me with an herb? Nice try, Star, although I was missing this one. Thank you." Elwood had completely blocked out Sephira and the new girl from his mind which was what he usually did when he was excited. He had spent the last few minutes telling Titania about his weird day before and the beginning of this one. "Leaving? You're planning on leaving Hyrule?" she asked. Elwood nodded.
"The others said it was the only way to make sure I didn't lose it again." Titania floated around his head.
"3 days ago you wouldn't even have dreamed of leaving the forest, and now you want to leave the continent?" Elwood laughed and nodded. He was used to the fairy's disbelief. Finally they turned to the other two, Elwood now done with his story. They decided to wait for the other two to finish talking.Comment

Ea sighed and rolled her eyes. "It's not like he'll starve. It's a loose-ish knot. He'll have to struggle a fair bit, but he'll get out. Even then..." She walked over and looked at his equipment, proceeding to snap his bow and hurl his sword off into the trees. She turned around again. Sephira shrugged. She didn't care if she got any of the arrows. She moved to collect her arrows again. She always preferred her own arrows over others. She had made them herself, using wood she carved personally, steel she had melted with her own flame, and flights from her phoenix form's feathers. She supposed that made them more personal, but she always felt that arrows made from her own skill and with her own things would make the arrows closer to her. And if they were closer to her, they were more likely to go where she wanted. Probably just a superstition, but it helped her relax enough to shoot straight. She glanced at Elwood. "Everything alright over there?" she asked, a hint of a smile on her face. It was obvious the fairy was Elwood's friend.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Elwood who had drifted off into a hushed conversation with Titania looked at Sephira. He smiled when he realized she was asking him the question and nodded. "It's more than alright, it's great!" He moved closer to Sephira in an excited manner and Titania followed behind him. "Sephira, this is my lost fairy Titania. Nia, this is Sephira. She's the girl I've been telling you about!" Titania, Nia, flew over to be next to the girl and showed her pleasure. "Thank you for taking care of him while I was gone," she jingled, "I couldn't stop worrying about him!" Elwood smiled, that was his fairy, always worrying.Comment

All in all, there were maybe ten arrows that wouldn't fly off in different directions. Once she retrieved them, she sighed. "These guys were complete idiots when it came to making arrows. Sephira bowed slightly to the fairy. "It was my pleasure, but I am afraid he's still in danger. If it is alright with you, I will explain further later." She smiled at her. "And might I add that you are the prettiest fairy I have ever seen?"
Star chrtoled. Only fairy, more like. Sephira rolled her eyes but otherwise ignored the cheetah. She turned to the girl. "I have noticed that most men seem to be terrible at making arrows. Elwood chuckled a little as Nia jingled at the complement. The fairy flew back to where her Kokiri was and asked something quickly as quietly as possible for a fairy. He nodded, "It's alright I'll tell you later." He then looked back at the two girls as he heard the newcomer talk. "It's called a cheetah," he retorted, "and she has feelings you know. And the other, he's a wolf." Elwood didn't realize this was new to many people just like it had been to him, so to him it made sense to say in a matter-of-fact way.Comment
