rose skipped up besides sephira "ok this is bad" rose whispered to her "I wanna punch that girl, I can't imagine what all of you want to do with her" she smiled at sephira. rose was disliking this girl more and more, she was rude, mean, and sarcastic. rose really disliked sarcasm unless someone was joking around and this girl clearly wasn't.

Sephira sighed. "I know," she murmered back. "Star doesn't like her either. But she kinda invited herself along, and if she is going to travel with us, well, maybe she'll learn some respect. I know Star will see to it if nothing else." She chuckled softly as she thought of the ways Star would show the huntress up to prove that she wasn't a waste of space.
Then she responded to Ea, keeping her voice as level as possible. "Oh, simply because we liberated Rose here a couple times when she had been kidnapped. Ea turned to the Gerudo. "Finally, someone speaks what I've been thinking!" She then turned to Sephira. "I never really had any friends. When I grew up, all I knew was 'Kill that animal, we could sell it.' So excuse me if I can't suddenly forget what I lived by for, what, 10 years?"So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Sephira smiled at Rose, pleased that she had been included in the group. After all, she hadn't done much either time to help rescue the Gerudo. Then she gave herself a mental shake and answered Rose's question. "He's why we're going in the first place. Someone wants to use him to kill innocent people. I'm wanting to prevent that from happening." She figured she'd give Rose the full story later, in private.
Then she looked at Ea. "I don't expect you to. But I expect you to at least pretend you respect my partners. They're my only family, and I will defend them as if you had insulted me. Besides," she added as an after thought, "whoever taught you to kill an animal was an idiot. Gerrard listened to them arguing, and walked along with them being quiet. The last thing he wanted to do was get in an argument with someone he barely knew. He listened to Sephira kinda loosely describe what was going on with him, he assumed that she would tell her the full story later on. He looked around at the landscape as they strolled along, it reminded him of his walks with his father every weekend.The Roose is LooseComment

James walked silently beside them, staring into nothingness. He could hear them arguing, but he had no intention getting involved. He was busy being distracted by something, although he couldn't quite figure out what it was. He did feel, however, that it was tugging at his nerves and his eyes stung from it. It was frustrating for him not knowing what it was.
Elwood tagged along a bit behind the others, walking slower than usual. His eyes were looking around, waiting for Midnight to strike now that they had been given the OK to keep playing from Sephira.
James decided he'd deal with whatever it was later, and tried to get a little more social. However, he still didn't want to get involved in the argument, so he walked closer to Gerrard. "Hey, what's up?" He tried to keep the mood light, since he was trying to get back into the way they used to be around each other before the whole Ganondorf-possessed me thing happened.Comment

Midnight hurled himself at Elwood, yipping happily. Star rolled her eyes. Be careful, you overgrown pup, lest you break his bones.
Sephira shrugged. "The fur and bones can often be worth money as well. And a butcher would be able to take the carcass apart better than most hunters." She glanced back at Elwood and Midnight, watching them for a while before returning her focus to the angry girl beside her. "I'm sure your mother was a clever woman. I'm just saying that most people are foolish to think a dead animal is worth more than a live one."
She turned her eyes forward and saw a familair ridge in front of them. She called back to James, "Gerudo Desert is just over there. We want to try going through it now, or camp outside and wait for dark?"Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

James looked at Sephira, and then at the ridge. He thought about it for a moment before answering. "I think it'd be best if we went through now. There's still a little Sun left and even then, I'd rather take advantage of the cool of the night instead of the deadly heat of the Sun. Then again, that's just my opinion. After all I love the cold," he shrugged. "What do you think?"
Elwood jumped out of the way as fast as he could. He was fast, but the wolf was stronger. He began circling the wolf, trying to predict his next move. This was getting much more interesting than he had thought it would. In his mind he heard James' words bounce around. Coldness? I can live with that...Comment

"I think we should wait until the sun sets. It will cool down the desert some and make it easier to cross," Sephira called back. "We'd have to stop and rest, though, otherwise we won't make it through the night." Then she turned to Rose. "Don't worry, Rose. We'll make sure nothing happens to you," she murmered soothingly as she placed an arm around the Gerudo's shoulders. "It's another reason I want to go by night. It will make it easier to hide." Star rubbed against Rose's legs, adding her own reassurances.
Midnight growled with annoyance as he missed Elwood. He charged at the Kokiri again as soon as his feet touched the ground. Right now, he was the hunter and Elwood the prey. James listened to Gerrard as he watched Elwood try to move out of Midnight's way just in time to trip on his own feet. As soon as he was on the floor he didn't waste time and began rolling away from the wolf in a very comical way. He thought about the question, "Well, I've never payed much attention to what's happening around, but I did overhear some of the people in Kakariko talking about predictions of Zora's River getting colder than usual over the next few months." He shrunk his shoulders and didn't say more. He heard Rose worrying about the Desert.
"Rest sounds nice," he said to Sephira, then turned to the Gerudo, "Sephira's right, too, and so is Ea. Even if they did see us, which I doubt, they'd have to get over us before even touching you. And even then we'd probably go rescue you...again." He chuckled a little then felt his chest tightened because rescuing Rose reminded him of Elliot. He was quiet.Comment
