Gwyna tossed the bag of loot Deana had collected to Meldos, then went back to tending Deana's knee. "That girl...... something strange about her....." She finished cleaning Deana's knee and bandaged it.

Deana grunted. "There's a few valuables in there. Most of it is practical stuff, though. They didn't have much stuff worth anything, so I swiped some stuff I thought we could use ourselves instead. Ow!" she said, as Gwyna tightened the bandage. "Careful with that, will you? I still want to be able to use it in the future." It was a gentle rebuke, one she seemed to use every time her twin treated her. Then she frowned. "wait, the girl was wierd? Wierd how? I didn't notice anything in particular." She didn't mention the dolphin necklace, which was a little unusual to find with a Hylian. She wanted to keep it for herself.

Gwyna looked up at her sister. "Her eyes. Were blue, and afraid. Then suddenly turned green, and filled with hatred...." She shuddered slightly. "Everything about her changed when her eyes did. Way she moved, her voice, everything. Not normal...."

Verigan looked up and nodded at Deana. "I'll be fine. Took some hits, but I've fixed myself up. Should be fine by tomorrow.." He listened to Gwyna and thought back to his fight with the girl. "Yeah, I guess it was a bit weird. Can I have my knife back?" He sat up and held out his hand, then winced. "You okay? Your shoulder's bleeding..."

Gwyna slipped his knife out of her sleeve and handed it to him hilt-first. "I can wait..... Others more important....." She looked away, ashamed of herself for having failed to kill Rin.

Verigan grabbed it and slipped it into the sheath on his belt. "No, take care of yourself or I'll have to, and you don't want me attempting medicine." He said, looking for injuries. "At least have some potion." He grabbed a bottle from the shelf and poured out four cups, passing them out. "To mediocre loot and not dying."

Gwyna nodded slightly, pulling the throwing star out of her shoulder and pressing her palm to the wound to stop the bleeding. Taking her cup, she downed the potion in one swallow. She gasped as fiery pain flared up in her back shoulder, and head, nearly blacking out from the pain.

Verigan threw his drink back too and winced. His arm hadn't hurt, it seemed to be healed, but the shoulder was deeper. He saw Gwyna's shoulder light up for a second from the magic in the bottle, red light shining through her fingers. When she started to reel from the pain, he stood up quickly and tried to steady her, but his shoulder flared up again and the world seemed to spin for a second.
"Red potion, not for the faint of heart." He muttered, sitting back down.

Gwyna collapsed into the nearest empty chair, careful not to let her back hit the back of the chair. "Next time..... I won't fail..... I will kill him......" She looked down at her hands, unable to bring herself to look up at anyone.

Meldos raised an eyebrow. "Wow... you ALL got hurt? Seriously? That must've been quite the farmer..." He sank into a chair, rubbing his eyes. He was obviously quite stressed.

Deana raised an eyebrow at Verigan. "Why does she listen to you when you say to tend her own wounds, but not me, her own twin?" She was tempted to ask for some of the red potion, but after seeing Gwyna's reaction to it, she decided it might be better to let it heal naturally. Hurts like Din'ts flame, though, she mused. She glanced at Meldos. "So what now boss?"

Verigan shrugged. "I think I'm just more special? Jealous?" He teased. "And yeah, quite the farmers. The girl knew how to fight, for sure, but it doesn't take much to beat me." He mentally made a note to get training with his knives. He shouldn't have been beaten that easily.
"Yeah, what's the plan once we've recovered?" Verigan asked, dreading what Meldos would say. There was only one way to go, really. The guild always finished its jobs.

Meldos rubbed his face again. "We'll need to train. Also, next time, as cool as you may look getting all freaky on them with a dagger, putting an arrow through their skull is much more practical." He looked at the three people in his command, then came to a sudden realization. "Wait, no one knows how to use a bow?"

Gwyna shrugged her good shoulder. "No reason to learn. Don't have a bow. Just knives. Lots of knives." She began cleaning her daggers.

Meldos put his head in his hands and sighed. "There's plenty of reason to learn! With a bow, you can easily kill and run without anyone knowing where you are. It's practically silent, and you can stay hidden. How is there no reason to learn?"
