"Yeah," Donovan chuckled in agreement as he accepted the apple half from Kaida. From the looks of his bag, he would have exactly enough food that he would probably run out just as they were getting to Kakariko. He also sat down, holding his upper body up on his arms. His feet and legs felt practically dead, and it was relieving to take the weight off of them. He looked out ahead of him at the sunset. In his opinion, the best place to go and watch the sunset in Termina was the beach at the Great Bay, but even though the could control them, the monsters from that area bugged him. The mountains also had a nice view of it, and that was a place Donovan didn't mind going to. Though for some reason, he always felt best in the forest. It must have been something about the trees hanging over him, making him feel safer. And yet his favorite part about clear nights were looking up at the stars shining above him. He liked seeing the moon too. Crescent, gibbous, full, he liked it whenever he could see it. Especially when it was really bright, or the time of year when it was far enough away you couldn't really see it's face. He wondered why the heck the moon even had a human face and if it actually saw or spoke. Would it ever speak to the tiny people below it, stuck on the massive land down there? He probably liked crescent moons the most, mainly because he couldn't see the face at all. Something about the moon he thought was magical and beautiful. You could actually stare at it without messing up your vision, unlike the sun. The suns light for some reason just felt less calm than the moon, and almost annoying. That was nice about the forest, it was always shady. At night it was different, because sometimes the trees would obstruct most of his night sky view, but when they didn't, it was beautiful. The mountains weren't that bad at night either. Just cold. And then there was Termina field. Not a place Donovan liked to hang out at night. Just too spacy, and there were many monsters out there at night. And some undead here and there, Donovan's biggest weakness. He hoped Hyrule wouldn't be like that. He just couldn't imagine them in Hyrule's beautiful fields. But if they did, they would probably want to run to Kakariko during the night. And of course, Donovan would have to fight some of them. He feared that, because all he had asked for was to get to Kakariko, not get injured by a skeleton. And his fighting was a bit shaky too. Besides fighting the puppets in Faron, he hadn't had a real fight for a while. They probably should have gotten a few more potions just in case, but it was good that Kaida was healed, but possibly not good enough. If they did come across any skeletons, Donovan would need Kaida's help, and they would both be at risk of being hurt, but he was probably a worse fighter. And he didn't really feel like being hurt in front of Kaida. Severe physical pain was something he hadn't felt for a long time, and they would also have to take the time to bandage him, and possibly end up spending more rupees on a cure.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" He said, looking out at the sunset. He had to take his mind off skeletons, and he didn't want to miss the view. He had many reasons to enjoy it, as he might have a hard night ahead of him, or just a hard future in general. They would surely come across other issues during their adventure. He had no clue what and didn't like thinking about it, but they had to. At least he was pretty sure of one thing--he and Kaida would get along the whole trip. He could never let himself argue with her. He liked her way too much, and she was super important to him and his life, even if they didn't travel together for all of his years. He couldn't help taking his eyes off the sunset, just to look at her. Her eyes, her hair... they could possibly beat the sunset as long as they were friends. And she was probably going to be around with him for a while in their travels, and he was thankful to have met.

Kaida smiled and nodded. "It is indeed." While sunsets were pretty, she really preferred sunrise. It had a more brightening message to it. Sunset meant the end of the day, the beginning of darkness. Sunrise meant a new beginning, a bright new day to enjoy. True, she rarely 'enjoyed' anything, but the meaning was what really counted. She also didn't like seeing the moon. It always reminded her of that one Carnival of Time. It had been one of the few times she had been afraid, and now she always associated the moon with that event. She hated when she saw it rise before nightfall, because it always brought up that fear again. After all, who but the Giants could stop it if it fell? She prayed fervently that that day would never come again, that she would never have to be overwhelmed by that fear again. She tasted it when the moon rose early, but she didn't like to. She always buried it as far down as she could, hiding it from everyone around her. Justin had always told her she shouldn't, that one day it would explode from her, but she ignored him. She was a dragon, after all. If she 'exploded', she'd take half the continent with her. Not that she'd want to be responsible for killing all those people, but still. Nothing would cause that fear to explode from her, not without being immediatly destroyed. Fear was the one emotion she could never allow herself to feel or show.
She sensed someone watching her and turned slightly to see Donovan. She smiled shyly as she realized he was watching her with a friendly fascination. Or was it more? Giants, she hoped it wasn't se xual. She got enough of that from her employers, she didn't need it from him too. Of course, getting so much from others made it easier for her to identify that lust. She didn't see any of it in Donovan's gaze, just admiration and adoration. She wasn't used to being looked at like that. It was different. Refreshingly so, but all the same, she wasn't sure how to respond. Was the smile enough? Or did she need to say something?
She was saved from deciding by the arrival of Zarola. The black panther was carrying the remains of a rabbit carcass in her jaws. When she spotted her two human companions, she plopped on her belly and started to gorge on the bloody meat. Kaida made a face. "I know it's natural, but I'd really rather if she did that somewhere else."

"It's fine," Donovan said. He may have been one who could pretty much control nature, but he had no problem with the panther ripping up the carcass. Sure, it wasn't nearly the process he would have gone through to eat one, but from what he knew, a panther wouldn't do it any other way. As long as Donovan himself wasn't the meal, he would let Zarola eat as many carcasses as she wanted. Of course, he understood if it was a sickening sight. Even he, living in the forest for all his life, hadn't seen a panther eat before. He accepted it but certainly didn't mind skipping out on the sight.
      ---------------------------------
Snow endlessly whirred around the duo struggling to travel through the thick blizzard. The weather had been much calmer only an hour or so ago, but since they travelled deeper into the white cold, it had viciously picked up and they certainly weren't prepared. Neither of them wanted to keep going, but there was no good reason to stop just yet. Of course, they hadn't really seen anything in the Yeti mountains, but well... snow and mountains. They weren't really sure where they were, but they thought they were still hiking up a steep, antagonizing mountainside, where at it's peak they hoped to get a good view of the land below. But they probably wouldn't with the furious weather all around, and there was no point anymore. The young boy had been complaining for ages, and the woman did too, in her head. Why did she ever take up this job? Suddenly her stomach flurried like the snow around them. The boy noticed something strange about her too. Something was certainly up, and the strong feeling in her soul couldn't deny the truth she felt. He had arrived. The mysterious man she had known about since her teenage years. What else could this strong sense be?
"Alright," She called out from her scarf. "We've had enough." There was a flash, and everything suddenly changed. The boy felt no more cold, but he really felt nothing he had ever felt before. Only confusion.
The whiteness that had become so familiar suddenly was gone, and they were in a land that was quite familiar, but it seemed impossible how they got there. At least for the boy. He knew nothing--the girl knew everything.
They looked up at the sky. Not a streak of white could be found. Only oranges, reds, and pinks. The beautiful colors of sunset. Then the ground. Grass? They certainly weren't near the mountains anymore. They were in Hyrule Field.
"Don't say anything," The boy's mentor told him as she suddenly broke into a dash through the fields. With no clear thoughts he managed to follow behind. Snow rolled off their shoulders, leaving unusual piles of cold in the nearly endless fields of green grass. Then he saw what she was headed for--a couple, sitting in the grass with a panther. The black cat was like nothing the boy had ever seen, and he had no interest in getting any closer. He hoped the animal was busy enough with the bloody carcass in it's mouth. He stopped and kneeled down, panting. He would leave his mentor alone to her business, unless she asked for his help. And she never really needed his help anyways. What good was he compared to her? He stayed yards away while she confronted the travellers.
"Donovan!" She called out, running to the man dressed in purple and blue. It was no doubt him. She felt no hate or love for him. He was a complete stranger, and yet so familiar. No blood in common, but she had known his family better than him. She probably knew him better than he knew himself.

Kaida grimaced again and laid down on her back. She was more than ready to go to sleep, but she knew they had to post a guard of some sort. This was a strange land, after all, and Zarola couldn't stay awake watching for them. They probably didn't need one, especially since they hadn't light a fire, but you never knew what prowled the night. She sighed.
Then jerked upright as a woman's voice called at Donovan. Her hand went straight to Flame's hilt, although she didn't draw it yet. Zarola glanced up from her dinner, took in the approaching strangers' scents, then turned back to her meal, judging them to be no threat. Kaida didn't see the black leopard do that, though, or she might have relaxed. "Friend of yours?" she hissed to her travelling companion, unaware of the boy.

(not a problem at all )
Donovan slowly stood up, turning to look at the girl. She looked about his age, and strangely looked familiar. He guessed she was a Hylian of some sort, and he noticed a boy sitting in the distance. The boy looked like a young teen while the woman looked like she was about Donovan's age. She barely slowed down as she ran to him, and he thought she was going to ram him down.
"How do you know my na--" Donovan's words were cut off as she stopped, wrapping her arms around him. "Who are you?!"
"My name is Inga Kachal," She said. Her voice was smooth and sweet but held some hint of darkness and mystery. She held onto him, but it wasn't like an 'I love you' hug but more of an 'It's about time we found you, little boy' hug. He was taller than her, and looked down at her in confusion. He wondered why she was so happy to see him. They had obviously never met before and probably weren't related.
"You know Lyxa." She said. "Well, so do I. She was my teacher during my teenage years. She told me a lot about you, and she was dying see you back in Hyrule. But you never came. She never saw you and never will."
"Wh-what do you mean?" Donovan said, hoping to get out of the stranger's hug soon. Sure enough, she did, looking up at him. Her dark eyes pierced his soul, and her face was immediately carved into his brain.
"Lyxa is dead. But there's no need to talk about that anymore." She said. "I want to show you Kakariko Village. The other sheikah will be happy to see you."
"Wait..." Donovan said, looking at the ground. "Other sheikah? There are still sheikah around?"
"Of course there are," She replied. "We will never die out. We're too strong for that. Now do you want to come or not?" She said, starting to walk towards the bridge. Donovan just stood there, staring at here in confusion. "I know you don't want to have to face the skeletons." She teased. Everything about her just invaded his mind and soul, and he didn't really like the feeling. She seemed to know a lot about him, and could practically control him. Were all sheikah like that? He did remember Lyxa being able to make him do what she wanted pretty easily, but she didn't seem to control what he did. Donovan still didn't go, looking down at Kaida.
"Think you can go a little further?" He asked her. He really wasn't interested in meeting any skeletons that night. "You know about me and skeletons. Kakariko is real close."

Kaida narrowed her eyes as she saw the stranger embrace Donovan, then proceed to talk with him while completely ignore her. The girl seemed to know a lot about things that seemed like none of her business, and was just talking. Almost chattering, like the sparrows outside Kaida's window in the morning, the ones that made her wish the neighbor would take down his bird feeder, no matter how nice it was for the birds. She also seemed insensitive, telling Donovan right out that his mentor and surrogate parent was dead. Kaida might be blunt about that sort of thing, but she wouldn't say it out of the blue like that. If someone she worked for sent someone with her who then died, Kaida would tell him as she gave him her report on the mission. She didn't even know why she gave a report, her bosses rarely cared.
She stood, muttering against the girl under her breath, as the girl teased Donovan about skeletons. Kaida snorted under her breath, then turned to her companion. "I can keep going as long as I have to," she said, her voice hard. She didn't like this girl, not one bit, nor did she trust her. She wanted to make sure he knew that.
Zarola, of course, didn't care. She simply remained where she was, finishing her rabbit. She watched the group walk off and decided she'd follow. Eventually. She first had to clean her claws and muzzle, and she might as well wash the rest of herself while she was at it. Then she'd probably take a nap. Yeah. Eventually. She turned back to her meal.

(lol Kaida has been in jealous situation twice now, yet Donovan hasn't. We need to get a guy in here to hit on Kaida. :P)

(Haha, maybe if we run into Sephira and their friends. Don't worry, Inga will be a bit jelly XD From now on I'm just gonna use a double space to show a change in the point of view)

"Thanks," Donovan said when Kaida told him she could keep going a bit further. It meant a lot to him, not only because he wouldn't have to face the skeletons all night, but also because they would get to Kakariko that much quicker and they wouldn't have to keep Inga waiting. Donovan hugged Kaida. It may have seemed random to her, but he hugged her because he knew she didn't really feel like going further, and she probably didn't like Inga that much already. She also deserved one after Inga just hugging Donovan a few minutes ago. "We can rest all we want once we're there." He assured Kaida.

"Get on with it," Inga called out to the hugging couple. She could have just used a deku nut to whiz them all to Kakariko, but Donovan needed to know his way around Hyrule, so it would be a waste of a nut. She had never teleported five animals at once anyways, and wasn't interested in trying. She was eager to get to Kakariko, because besides not wanting to waste time dealing with monsters, she wanted an excuse to stop at the village. She hoped she could drop off her student there, because he was a real pain in the neck and teaching obviously wasn't her thing. From what she knew, Donovan seemed like quite the adventurer. Not many people she had heard of have gone from country to country, and she assumed they never used horses either, unless they lost it on the way. If he continued on his travels to further lands, Inga hoped to join him. She wasn't too excited to spend time with the other girl, but Donovan seemed pretty cool. She hoped he hadn't travelled just to see Hyrule, because if he did he would probably stay there. But if he kept going, Inga would ask to come if she was lucky enough to get rid of her student. She really didn't care much for children and had no interest in ever having some.

Donovan was honestly disappointed when Inga interrupted his hug with Kaida, and the sheikah was already starting to bug him a bit. "Alright, we're coming," He called back, starting to walk towards Inga. As much as he was tired and a bit annoyed, deep down he was still excited to see Kakariko. He still was unsure about whether he would stay or not. If Kaida decided to keep on the move, he would probably stay with her.

(Ooo~ So we might have a cat fight later~ Heehee )

Kaida blinked in surprise as Donovan hugged her. He hadn't hugged her before. In fact, they hadn't touched much at all. Sure, there had been times when he had held her hand, and when he had bandaged her arm, but nothing more than that. She liked it more than she had expected she would, and returned the hug while wondering if her breastplate made it uncomfortable for him. It was pretty hard, after all, unlike the other girl's body. Of course, Kaida was willing to bet she herself was a lot harder as well.
She shot a glare at said girl as she interrupted the hug. The huntress could tell she was annoyed, although she wasn't sure over exactly what. It could just be the delay, but it could be that Donovan had hugged her. Kaida wondered which it really was, but shrugged it off. It didn't really matter in the long run. Eventually she'd leave, and if Donovan came with her, she knew that meant he had nothing for this Hylian girl. Of course, him going with her didn't neccessarily mean he had stronger feelings for her. It could just be becuase he had stronger feelings for Termina, which were Kaida's reasons for wanting to return. Hyrule might be a good country, and fairly pretty, but a huntress always prefers her own territory. Termina was Kaida's home and would remain so for a long time.
She smiled to herself, sure of her station in the world, as she followed Inga and Donovan to the village.

As the group ran through the field, time seemed to speed up. It was as if an hour was squashed into ten minutes. Reality told Donovan it was just because they were busy, but the quickness of the run seemed like magic. Running over the bridge was amazing. As they crossed it, only a sliver of the sun remained above the horizon and the sky was a super deep red. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and Donovan could see pretty far all around him. Far below the bridge ran a river. Donovan had never seen so far below him before because there weren't really any high up bridges in Termina like this one. He had no idea how the heck people could build such a bridge. It had a unique, beautiful view, but of course, nobody had time to take it in. After crossing the bridge, they came out in a rocky path, with tall rock cliffs on their sides. As they ran along this path, the sun had fully set and Soon enough, they had reached a village.
"Welcome to Kakariko," Inga said with a smile as they walked in. Rikit walked away from them, into a house close by. Donovan couldn't help stopping and looking around. There were a bunch of buildings all around with a dirt road down the middle. It was nothing like Castle Town--it was even smaller than Clocktown. Donovan kinda liked it. Few people were walking around town, and no building looked any more significant than the one next to it. It looked like the village was mostly houses, and some businesses. He saw a boy chasing a small cat and a blacksmith hammering a sword on an anvil. The village seemed completely average and was perfectly sized. Not too many people seemed to live there but it surely wasn't a ghost town.

(I just got the idea that Ganondorf could break in to attack the village while we're all here... and then I mentally laughed at how random that is XD. Although I should have Donovan's parents' killer attack him once he's out of the village again. I just don't know who that is yet...)

(lol Well, his monsters could. :P That wouldn't be too weird. The Sheikah could have been fending off attacks for quite a while now. With the castle destroyed and Zelda in hiding, they wouldn't really be able to do their duty to protect her.)

Kaida gazed around the village in surprise. After seeing Castle Town, she had expected another annoyingly loud and bustling city. But Kakariko was hidden in a cliff side, and it was small. Smaller even than Clock Town. She would have thought it quaint, but she noticed the small signs that this village was not a peaceful one like Castle Town or Clock Town. The blacksmith over there was hammering a sword. In Clock Town, blacksmiths didn't usually make swords. They made simpler everyday things like tools or kitchenware. The skill with which this one forged that sword indicated a master as well, something Kaida could appreciate. After all, her own sword was made by a Goron smith, one of the finest ones in Termina. A master swordsmith here meant this place often needed swords. And needing swords a lot meant this place either attacked or was attacked frequently.
The wary gazes of several of the other villagers showed they didn't trust strangers. She noticed most of them were watching her, which she could understand. After all, she wore a sword and a breastplate, while Donovan was more gently outfitted. Kaida was secretly pleased to be considered the more dangerous target. She was, after all, but back in Termina, the people would see her as a woman and ignore her obvious signs of danger. It drove her nuts, but that's the way it went.

Inga led the group down a path off the main road. It led behind the line of buildings along the main road and to a ring of houses with an unlit fire in the center. She said it was where all the sheikahs lived while they were in town. It was basically the sheikah base of the world, because it is the only location of permanent houses for sheikah in Hyrule, and as far as anyone knew, sheikah only existed in Hyrule. There was one vacant two-story house that Inga had Kaida and Donovan stay in for the night. It had a kitchen and dining room downstairs with two-bed bedrooms upstairs. Donovan couldn't wait to lie down in bed and take his weight off his aching legs. He hadn't really felt it so much while they were running, but now that they only walked, the pain started to kick in. Donovan went to he and Kaida's house and straight upstairs, crashing on his bed in no time. He was exhausted from the past few days and couldn't seem to keep his eyes open, as much as he wanted to talk to Kaida. He liked talking with her, and as they had quite a bit in common, they did tend to talk a lot. At the moment, he decided not to talk, as Kaida and him were both probably dying to get to sleep. The bed felt super weird to him, and at first the fluffiness of it irritated him, but it was doing a good job sucking him into unconsciousness.

Kaida was surprised when she and Donovan were given their own home for the night. She would have expected to be seperated, or kept under guard. She supposed keeping them in one place would help with that, but it could also make it harder. She knew from experiance that leaving them together made it easier for them to plot their own escape. Still, their loss if she and Donovan did escape. She had a feeling he didn't want to, though. After all, he had sunk straight into the bed and was asleep in no time. Kaida, however, couldn't do that so easily, no matter how exhausted she was. She first had to make sure the doors and windows were as secured as possible and that there were no other people inside the house with them.
Only then did she lie down in her bed, removing only her boots, belt, breastplate, and pack beforehand. She kept Flame within reach of her hand as she put everything else by the door. She tried relaxing in the bed, but even at home, her bed was harder than this. She wasn't used to sleeping on anything so soft. She felt like she was drowning in plushness. She was sure she was keeping Donovan awake as she tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable spot, so she finally got up and left the room, bringing her sword and a blanket. She had spotted a couch in one of the rooms during her surviellance earlier, and she quickly found it again. Relief washed over her as she lay down and found it much more firm than the bed upstairs. She spread the blanket over her and lay Flame down alside her before curling up to sleep. It didn't take long, now that she was comfortable and utterly exhausted. She smiled softly as she slipped into dreamland.

A carriage rolled across the green grass, headed for the rocky brown mountains in the distance. It moved away from a large, stone town. The night skies were clear, but suddenly a force of lightning power stuck the carriage to the ground. A group of adults in the carriage were killed by the strike. A green skinned man approached the carriage, pulling out a man and his wife from the group. He held their chins, examining them. They both had brown hair and red eyes, and they both were sheikah scholars. The green skinned man who had killed them grunted in accomplishment and mounted his monstrous, metal-plated steed. He bolted off for the mountains, where he hoped to find his next targets.
Donovan quickly sat up in his bed, disturbingly awakened by his nightmare. The name “Ganondorf” echoed in his mind, and he felt no sleep anymore. He was too disturbed to even lie back down, so he got up and paced around the room. Kaida wasn’t in the other bed, but he didn’t pay that any attention. He wished his dream was just the usual nightmare, but something made him know it was a true story that had to be told to him. Something or someone from beyond the world he knew was sending him a message. He knew it was a message about his past. Those were his parents who had been killed by the man he guessed was called Ganondorf. He knew a tiny bit about Ganondorf from Lyxa’s knowledge of Hyrule, but no stories. And now all of the sudden he seemed to know everything. Why and how his parents died, who they were, who Ganondorf was. And at that point he knew why he had to be taken out of Hyrule as a baby, and he realized he should probably try to get out of there again as soon as he could. He somehow learned that his parents were sheikah scholars, and that Ganondorf had killed them because he knew what they knew about his plans to take over Hyrule. How they found that out, Donovan didn’t know. It appeared that they hadn’t told anyone else but Lyxa, who ended up dying anyways. He didn’t know if Ganondorf killed her too. He didn’t think Lyxa would have told anyone else, knowing that they would probably get killed too. Donovan hoped he wouldn’t be killed too, but he probably wouldn’t because he didn’t know that much about Ganondorf’s plans. Although, Ganondorf hated Donovan’s family no matter what. He knew he would always be threatened, and expected to leave Hyrule soon. Donovan was obviously no match for Ganondorf. Lyxa taking him out of Hyrule when he was little probably meant he was a target anyways. Or maybe Lyxa was, and she was the only one to protect him so had to bring him with her. But then why did she return to Hyrule and leave Donovan to fend for himself? No matter what he knew, he was sure it would be best for him to leave Hyrule. He feared telling everything to Kaida a little, and she might think he was crazy. Or maybe they would simply leave Hyrule and that would be it, with nothing to worry about. Donovan couldn’t do anything but go back to his bed and wait for the sun to rise.

Kaida slept deeply and well, and was completely refreshed when she woke the next morning. She was surprised to find a heavy weight on her, and looked over to see Zarola laying across her, sound asleep. Kaida stared at the panther, wondering how she got in. The huntress was certain she had closed and latched all the doors and windows. Although... She had forgotten to check the bedroom, not wanting to distrub Donovan. Perhaps the black leopard and slipped in from there, although how she had gotten in the second floor window was beyond her.
Still, Zarola was nice and comfortable, if a bit heavy, and it took Kaida a while to convince herself that she had to get up, then longer as she tried to convince the panther the same. Zarola finally got off long enough for Kaida to stand up before laying back down on the couch. Kaida chuckled and rubbed the panther's ears affectionately, then unbound her hair to retie. Sleeping as she did always made the braid messy, and Kaida didn't like feeling that large knot on the back of her head.
When she was done, she slipped upstairs to get her other stuff, trying to walk quietly so as not to disturb Donovan in case he was still asleep. She winced at every creak her footsteps provoked from the wooden stairs, and was relieved when she found Donovan was already awake. She smiled at him as she pulled on her boots, breastplate, and belt. "Morning. Did you sleep alright?" she asked as she replaced Flame on her belt.

"Uhh, yeah. I slept pretty good." Donovan said in an ironically exhausted voice. He looked into his bag at the half-loaf of bread that remained. He wasn't very hungry because he had eaten the other half while he awaited sunrise. "Want some bread?" He asked Kaida, holding up the bag. He feared telling Kaida about his crazy dreams. Maybe she would think he was crazy. Maybe he was crazy. Maybe the dream meant nothing, but he couldn't believe that, because the sudden, certain knowledge that had come to him was much more than a meaning within a dream. It was like someone put the parts about his past he didn't know about into his mind. He expected he was going to have to tell Kaida the story sometime, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to let that wait or if he would get it over with now. She probably thought he was pretty crazy already. He was very interested in heading back home at this point and had seen all he wanted to of Hyrule.

Inga waited in the watchtower by the entrance to town all night. She doesn't get tired easily, and this was a moment that made her thankful for that. The watchtower had recently been installed, since the war began. Ganondorf was unpredictable and could attack Kakariko anytime. And this night made Inga feel extra worried of that. From what Lyxa had told her about, Ganondorf hated Donovan's family and was the one who killed his parents. He would probably want to kill Donovan too, that's why Lyxa took the kid out of Hyrule for so long. And now that he was back, Ganondorf surely wouldn't mind paying him a little visit. Lyxa had expected Donovan to come to Hyrule eventually, and Inga was the really only person to protect him in any way if he did, and that's why Lyxa told Inga so much about Donovan. Lyxa loved Donovan in a motherly way, and wanted the best for his future, whether he became a protector of the royal family or just worked within the sheikah community. Inga couldn't see why Lyxa wanted so much for the boy--it seemed like he couldn't do anything significant in the world at this point. She sorta felt bad for how much he had wasted his life in that other country. Inga personally really didn't want Ganondorf going near Kakariko, so she hoped to get Donovan out of there soon, in case the evil man did somehow come there looking for him. She really wanted to get him out of there the next day, but she didn't know if he wanted to spend any time in Kakariko. She assumed that Lyxa would want her to be a guide for Donovan. Inga felt motivated to help him not only because Lyxa would probably want that, but also, his life sucked enough already. And maybe he could bring her out of Hyrule as a bonus. She wasn't too interested in being around once this war business got too crazy. If Ganondorf really wanted to, he could probably kill all the sheikahs. That would help him a lot. And if Inga left Hyrule with Donovan while that happened, they could be the only two sheikah survivors which would be pretty cool. While thoughts jumped around her head as Inga kept watch, the sun was eventually back in the sky, and she hadn't lost too much energy. She decided to go back to her house and cook up some breakfast for Donovan and that partner of his. She decided to roll with helping him out while he was in Hyrule because that's what her mentor would want her to do.
