Kaida was surprised at how swiftly Inga gathered the two horses' gear and stowed them in the saddlebags. She would have thought she'd bed the horses down. Was she anxious to get the pair out of Kakariko and on their way? At the very least she needed to show them how to take care of the creatures. Well, when Kaida thought about it, the two might be pretty easy to take care of, if they did get their own food. She'd want to brush Ash's coat out every once in a while, knowing that getting too much dirt in there could be incredibly uncomfortable.
She looked at Inga. "I guess we could leave whenever. I still would like my souvenirs, but I go without." She looked at Donovan. "What about you? Do you want to stay for a while longer?" She glanced at Zarola as she heard the panther groan in her sleep and wondered if she should wake the large cat.

"Ready when you are," Donovan happily told Kaida. He patted his newly owned black stallion, eager to try out a long-distance ride. "I say we grab those souvenirs you were talking about." He turned to Inga for one last goodbye. "Thanks so much, for everything." He really was grateful for her help. They would surely be aimlessly wandering around if they hadn't met, in that strange way the night before.
"No problem, kid," She said. "Good luck with everything. Do you want any assistance getting around or anything?" She asked. She really hoped to join them, with hopes of seeing other parts of the world.
"If Kaida's okay with the extra company," Donovan said. He was happy Inga offered to help them. She would be helpful if Ganondorf really was still after him. But as time passed and the nightmare grew further away, his worry pulled away. Though his new knowledge remained. He had a slight feeling that Inga might know about his issue with Ganondorf, and if she did, it would help him and hurt him. He would feel better because she would know he needed to protected, but he wouldn't feel so good about his qualm being that much more certain.

Kaida shrugged. "Sure, I wouldn't mind." She climbed onto Ash's back, wincing a little as she pulled her bruised muscles. She whistled at Zarola, who jerked awake and glared up at her mistress. "Come on then," Kaida told her. "We're going to be going soon, and if you don't keep up, you'll be left in the dust." The black panther yawned and stretched, then trotted passively to stand next to Ash. The stallion knickered at her, and she yawned back. Kaida shook her head, wondering yet again what sort of conversations animals could have. But that's forever blocked off to me, she sighed. We were never meant to understand the language of the beasts.
She looked over at Donovan. "So where are we going? Up to Zora's Domain, like we had decided yesterday, or do you want to head back to Castle Town? That place would have better souvenirs, I'd think."

While Donovan pulled himself onto Chadur's saddle, Inga put her fingers to her mouth and let out a loud, distinctive whistle. It was strange, because it wasn't much of a piercing sound and it didn't really hurt you ears, but it somehow just penetrated your mind. As Inga had expected, a reddish-brown horse came trotting up to her, and she hopped on.
"Your pick," Donovan said in reply to Kaida. He really didn't care where they went. When they had first arrived in Hyrule, Kakariko was the only place he was interested in going to. "This was the only place I needed to check out, so you can lead the way." Castle Town did seem like it might have more things to take with them back home, but they could never be sure. Donovan didn't know what they should expect to find, but he was sure they would find some interesting, foreign item that would sell nicely in Termina no matter where they went in Hyrule. He guessed they would find more than one thing. He wasn't sure what it would be, though.

Kaida pulled the map from her bag and looked at it closely, trying to determine where to go. She muttered to herself as she traced along a path. It looked like they could easily make it to Zora's Domain, but getting in would be difficult. The river seemed to be the only entrance, but it flowed through a canyon. But the harder it is to get to, the better the rewards, she thought. She could easily make it through the canyon, if she wanted to. She doubted it would be any more difficult than when she had scaled the wall around Gerudo Fortress, but she wasn't sure about her companions. She might have traveled across two countries with Donovan, but she still wasn't sure of his full abilities, and she certainly had no clue what Inga was capable of.
"I think Castle Town would be better," she said aloud. "It's larger, and it seems to be the center of Hyrule, like Clock Town is for Termina. It will probably have more variety of things we could buy." She tapped her lip. She didn't think she had much money, but she might have a few things in her bag that would fetch a decent price, being from Termina, but since she usually travelled light, she doubted it. "Might have to swipe some of the good things," she muttered to herself, careful not to let Inga hear her. She didn't think the Sheikah would approve of her criminal ways. After all, the body guards of the royal family would certainly walk the path of rightiousness and would refuse to stray from the law. She, on the other hand, was a bounty hunter, a mercenary. She walked in shadow. She wondered if Donovan had realized that about her yet. She hadn't explicitely told him, nor showed him. Did he realize her dark path?

(Sorry about being gone for so long, I'm getting pretty busy)

"Alright," Donovan said. He grabbed Chadur's reigns and barely pulled, just putting slight pressure on them. Like he had expected, the horse slowly took a few steps forward. "You got the map, you can lead the way." He said. He assumed they would just retrace the path they had taken to Kakariko the day before, but he wanted Kaida to lead anyways. He felt like he had been leading her all over the place for the past few days, so he wanted her to be in front for a while. It was her idea to get some things from Hyrule to sell in Termina after all. He found it very clever of her to do that. She would probably get a significant increase of rupees for herself, and Donovan would just get the money he never had. And he didn't need much. He was especially happy to be travelling with Kaida more, and after all his younger days living in Termina's wilderness, he didn't care much for money. He rarely used any.
Inga knew of another path to Castle Town, but she wasn't sure if it was quicker or not. There was pretty much no difference to her. She didn't want to lead the way because she was only tagging along and had no intent of trying to guide them anymore. They would hopefully guide her away from home. They were surely smart enough to get back, either using the map or simply remembering how they got to Kakariko. She wasn't sure how long she would stick with them, but she hoped it would be long enough to build a relationship and, if she was lucky, get out of Hyrule.

Kaida nodded. "Alright, to Castle Town we go." She teetered a bit in the saddle as she urged Ash to go. She gritted her teeth, determined not to fall off again. She'd learn to ride this blasted horse if it took her the rest of the voyage back. She glanced at Inga, trying to appear as though she hadn't while studying the way the Sheikah sat in her saddle. She adjusted her own position to mirror as best she could, but Inga was lighter than her, not having a breastplate and being much shorter than the huntress. Still, the concept should be the same, so she should still be able to balance. She'd have to adjust it to make up for her greater weight and height, though.
Zarola trotted alongside Ash as Kaida lead the way out of Kakariko Village. She had turned back to the map and was studying it closely, trying to commit it to memory, even though she doubted she'd come back for a long time. She was a bounty hunter, after all, not a merchant. Selling a few rare artifacts from Hyrule to Terminians would get her some money, but it was a waste of her better talents. She wasn't a negotiator, she couldn't barter a price down reasonably. Her talents lay in getting in and out of places, killing and protecting people. She could steal, hunt, kill, more effectively than any other person she knew, and she knew quite a few who were born assassins. She wasn't a person to cross.
No, being a merchant would not suite her. Not with her impatience, her rapidly flaring temper, her terrible bartering skills. Not with her love for her own job. She might not thirst for blood like some people she knew did, but she loved the thrill of the hunt, the victory after a catch, the heavy purse that jingled in her pack as she searched for her next job.

Inga noticed Kaida take a glance at her as they started to head out. She always caught things like that, when people just took quick looks at her. She had always thought it was just a sheikah instinct. She paid more or less attention to it, depending on who was looking at her. In this case, she didn’t care. She assumed the girl was just checking Inga’s form or something.
Like before, Donovan slightly pulled on Chadur's reigns, and again he sped up. Controlling the horse had already become very easy for him, and he was picking it up quickly. He had enough control over the horse's speed that he just about replicated Ash's speed, trotting along behind him and Kaida. Inga came up next to him on her horse and kept the same pace as well. Donovan knew already that she was a skilled horseback rider. By now his paranoia from the night before had strayed from his mind and he wasn’t really thinking about it much. The excitement of actually riding a horse, like he had wanted to for so many years, seemed to sing louder than the lingering thought of a distant green man tracking Donovan down.
Inga was curious about what interested the duo with Castle Town. She thought she recalled hearing them say something about souvenirs. She wasn’t sure what they meant, because it just didn’t seem like something worth making an extra trip to the Castle Town for, if they really were planning to move on from Hyrule. Though, they could be looking for something a little more specific, or even were sent to Hyrule to get a certain item. She had a slight feeling they were covering something up. “So, what was it that you two were looking for in town?” She asked them as the group rode along. Whatever that was, she didn’t think it would really matter if they told her. She was part thief herself, and had gone places many times in the past to obtain certain artifacts. And she seldom used money.

(I might be wrong, but I think pulling back on the reins slows the horse. Don't remember.)

Kaida looked at Inga as she what the pair were after. She smiled. "Souveniers," she said. "You know, momentos to remind us of our voyage." She tapped her arm where the puppet thing had struck her two days' before. "Like this scar I have here now. Reminds me to be more careful when fighting crazed kids." She shifted in the saddle, trying to relax her leg muscles, which were starting to get sore from gripping the horse. "Some of the stuff I'll probably sell in Clock Town, as they'll fetch a pretty good price in the und- the market." Giants, I'm proud of who I am, why in Termina am I trying to hide what I do? "Some I'll keep. I have a few souveniers from difficult jobs. For example, my tablecloth is made from Dodongo scales. I have a Wolfos pelt for a rug, and a Snapper shell for a foot rest." She frowned thoughtfully. "I believe that I have a curtain made from Keese wings as a gift from one client, and a set of plates made from Skulltulla and Hiploop shells as rewards from a few others. Don't use those very much. All I ever use is a bowl I made from the jaw of a Bio Deku Baba." She wondered how Inga would react to her collection of trophies, but she refused to look back at the Sheikah's expression. "I wouldn't mind something to decorate my mantle with the Death Armos sheild and the Iron Knuckle ax, but I doubt I'll find anything that'll go with those very well. Not at a market, at any rate. Those things were hard earned, and buying something to go with them wouldn't be very appropriate."

(You’re probably right. Oh well, Donovan doesn’t need to know how to do it right :P)

Donovan dumbly sat upon Chadur’s saddle.
Inga was also surprised to hear about the loot of Kaida’s past accomplishments. Some of them may have been small to Inga, and probably Kaida too, but they all added up and the girl appeared to be quite the adventurer. Inga already had assumed that from Kaida’s trip across the nations, but her trophies just showed more. Inga had never bothered to obtain much souvenirs for herself in the past, besides stringing together a few necklaces or earrings of claws and feathers or keeping rare rocks she found laying around. She was a sucker for jewelry. “Well, it sounds like you’re quite the traveller.” Inga said with a hint of appreciation in her voice. “I’m sure you’ll snag something interesting while you’re here. Hyrule is a big place--all sorts of junk comes up here and there.”

Kaida laughed. "Traveller" had never been a term she applied to herself. That term usually implied something more relaxed than what she did, especially if she had a deadline. She rarely went at a leisurely pace. This voyage had been relaxing, since she wasn't going nearly as fast as she would have on her own. She knew that eventually the slower pace would drive her nuts and she'd pick it up simply to get to her normal speed, but for now, it was nice. "I hope so," she said to Inga. "This map might get a decent price in Clock Town, but I'd rather something a little nicer. Something made here that I wouldn't find its like of in Termina." She glanced at the Sheikah. "Like all those eyes you have on your clothes. I wouldn't find anything like that in Termina, although I doubt that poncho on its own would sell for much, just because of an usual dye job." She grinned. "No offense."

Inga found it strange when Kaida laughed. It seemed to be something she had said, but she wasn't sure what.
"None taken," Inga giggled at Kaida's remark to her poncho. "Yeah, so the eye thing is a sheikah symbol. You might be able to find something like it in the market, and if not, maybe I could give you something." Besides her clothes, she had with her a threaded bracelet with an eye symbol weaved into it, a cloth with one, and a mysterious red coin that seemed to have an eye in the center. She may have offered to give Kaida something if she didn't find anything in the Castle Town, but Inga really wasn't that generous of a person. She really just said it to sound nice.

(You know how I wanted Ganondorf to attack us with a minion? Would the Helmaroc King from WW be okay? Like, I know we aren't in WW but I think we could still have the Helmaroc King or something like it.)

(I remember. I think it would be a little over-kill to use a boss enemy, though, wouldn't it?)

Kaida shrugged. "Up to you. I'd prefer to buy my own." Or steal if I have to "You can help me pick out some, though. I could probably find tons of things that I wouldn't in Termina, but the really special ones here, like those three triangles I keep seeing everywhere, would be even better." She frowned. "What's the deal with those triangles, anyways? They're just shapes, yet I've seen them in several places of importance. Unless they're just for decoration? Pretty weird form of decoration, if you ask me." She liked the images she had seen of three women holding the triangles, assuming they had something to do with their significance, but she personally wouldn't like one for her home. She was willing to bet their significance would be lost on her clients as well, so if she did wind up getting some, she'd have to make them seem like good luck charms or something.

(I think it would be pretty cool. I don't want to go into depth on how our characters would kill him, but I think it can be done. In fact I think one boss would be easier than a bunch of minions. Your decision. Sorry about not posting as quickly as usual, I have been working on a few big school assignments)

“Oh yeah, the Triforce,” Inga said with a smirk. She kept her giggling within her. She found it silly that Kaida didn’t recognize such an important Hylian symbol, yet she realized that she would sound pretty dumb if she went to Termina, too. She had always wondered if other lands shared the same legends, and now it seemed like they didn’t. “It’s a religious symbol. There’s a whole legend behind it, if you wanna hear about that.”
As Inga and Kaida talked, Donovan kept riding right along with them, but he was experimenting a bit, and he wasn’t really focusing on what they were talking about. He learned that when he only pulled one of Chadur’s reigns, using only a bit of willpower, the horse would turn that way. He wasn’t even sure if what he did with his mind actually affected the horse, but even if it didn’t, he found that it helped him to ride by trying to be the horse.

No biggie. Anything I can help with?)

Kaida shrugged. "Sure. We have time to kill, and I'd like to understand what I'm buying." She glanced at Donovan, wondering if he was annoyed to be left out of the conversation. After all, he was Hylian like Inga, while Kaida was a Terminian. This story would be more important to him, especially if he didn't follow the Giants, like she suspected. She followed them faithfully, even memorizing the song that supposedly summoned them. She never dared use it, but still, knowing that she was could call on their aid was comfort enough.
