Drake was surprised. "You're actually going there? I wish you luck." Drake looked at the place and shuddered.

"If everyone else is going, I'm staying here. Just looking at the place makes me feel...horrible." Drake realized, shuddering even more. He wondered why that place had avoided his dreams.

He then looked to the tents of the others. He wondered when the others were going to get up.

"Yes, my son is in there and I need to make sure he's alright." Kairu looked down and sighed. He thought about eating, but he couldn't.

Ryli woke up, noticing that Kairu had already left the tent. She was used to waking up alone. She pulled on her boots and went outside. "Goodmorning you two," she said with a fake smile on her face. She was worried about what they would find in Castle Town and she hadn't slept well at all the night before. She walked over to where the fire had been last night. She sat down and pulled out a sharpening stone and began refining the point on her sword, knowing she would need it later. After she was done, she sunk into meditation, carefully controlling her body's fluctuations in temperature so she could get used to feeling both fire and ice so she could readily use both today.

Kairu went to her and pecked her cheek. He could sense the uneasiness and tension between everyone. The clouds looking dark and ominous didn't help either. By this point, Kairu was following Ryli's lead on sharpning his blade. He started thinking about the last time he sharpened his blade. It was just before he met Ryli in Kokiri Forest. A sorrow filled inside him as he knew some thing or things would happen today which will change his life forever.

Malina had dozed off by her small fire, her book still open in her lap. She jumped away as she heard talking at the main camp and stared around her wildly before remembering where she was. She breathed a sigh, then closed her book and stood. She stretched, trying to work out the cramps in her back and neck from sleeping while sitting. Then she turned and moved to join the others, murmuring good mornings as she did so. Sitting down next to Ryli, she watched the Hylians sharpen their weapons and wondered if she should do the same with her rapier. She decided against it, as she doubted she'd need it while they went into Castle Town. She started scratching absent-mindedly at her bandage. The cut she had made should be fully healed by now, but she didn't want to take the bandage off just in case. She was also just too tired to worry about it. She hadn't slept much last night, or the night before. The night before that, she had gotten a good sleep, but the night before that, she had stayed up the whole night, as that was the night she had resurrected Kairu. If they went anywhere today, she'd probably fall asleep in the saddle and trust Zylan not to drop her.

Ryli felt Kairu kiss her and smiled at him as he sat down beside her. I think I have meditated enough. I've trained so long for this... she thought, reassuring herself a little. "Don't be so worried," she said quietly to him. "We can do this. None of us will be hurt. I don't think we will be able to stop this, but we will find your son and your ex wife. We will get them out unharmed. I'll see to their protection myself." She knew that if she could just get to them, they would be safe. She could create large areas of ice around the group, which would cause any melee from an enemy to become impossible. The only real danger would be from ranged combatants, but she thought that as long as Kairu's son and his ex stayed in the center of the group, she could fend most of them off with fire *****. "Just watch out for any ranged fighters, but melee fighters will not be any problem. I've developed techniques to fight both, but only good defense against people who fight up close. Do you have any suggestions?" she asked.

Kairu shook his head silently, and zoned out. He continued to sharpen his blade. He let the sound of the sharpening blade lull him into a psyched state of mind.

Drake finished eating his breakfast and saw that everyone was awake. Okay, so those two are going for sure... Drake thought as he looked at Kairu and Ryli. He looked over at Malina and tried to come up with an answer for his question until he gave up and decided to actually ask Malina. "Hey, Malina. Are you going with Ryli and Kairu to...that place over there?" Drake asked Malina, wanting to know if he would be alone here.

Malina, having nearly dozed off again, jerked awake at her name. "Huh?" she asked groggily. "Go where?" Then her mind cleared a bit and she remembered. "Oh, you mean there?" She gave a weak gesture in the general direction of the town. "No. That barrier seems too strong. I'd rather stay away from whoever cast it." That did remind her of her paste from the night before. She stood and shakily walked to where she had placed the botyle, picked it up, then teetered back to Ryli. "Made this last night," she mumbled, handing it to the Gerudo. She started fiddling with the bandage again, and wondered when she should take it off. But she was too sleepy to care. She sat back down; well, fell is more accurate.

Ryli took the potion from Malina as the princess fell to the ground. "Are you alright?" Ryli asked, sitting down beside her with a concerned look on her face. While she knew Malina would be useful for healing while they were in there, she knew it would be more dangerous for all of them if she went due to her lack of combat training.

Malina nodded. "Yeah, just tired. I haven't slept much the last few nights. Been awhile since I've done that." She giggled a bit, then gestured to the bottle. "That paste should speed healing anything. Haven't checked if it works yet, but it should. Least, my wrist isn't hurting any." She gestured to her bandage.

Ryli shook her head with a small smile. "Next time you need to injure someone to brew a potion, cut me, not yourself," she said, laughing softly. "The last thing we need is if your father's men find us and see that you are hurt. I know I'd get the blame for that one."

She looked over to Kairu. "So, are you ready to go yet? I want to just get this over with. Waiting around and staring at it is just going to make us all even more nervous."

Kairu stood up and sighed, "Yeah, I suppose." He sheathed his sharpened sword after checking it. It left a mark where he improperly slid his thumb across the edge. Kairu turned to Drake. "I am trusting you enough to watch the Princess and keep her in care. If the need arises that conflict or battle is inevitable, flee to Kakariko. We will meet you there if you are not here. Best of luck." Kairu turned to Malina, "Malina... be careful. We'll be back in a few hours."

Ryli was glad that Kairu only told Malina to "be careful." The way he had paused after saying her name made her think that he was going to be much more flirtatious. At least he's trying... Ryli thought. "Alright, let's get going then," she said as she walked towards the town. She knew that whatever she would come against in there would be unlike anything she'd ever faced, but she knew she could handle it.
