"I really don't like how he is coming with us," Ryli whispered to Kairu. "Why would we allow someone who just tried to kill me? It doesn't make any sense... How am I supposed to sleep knowing that he could kill me as soon as I close my eyes?"

Kairu smiled at her concern. He knew it wasn't something to be joking about, but he did have a point to make. "Because, if you are still willing to keep trying with us, I'll be there. And I want to believe I've proven I will still fight for you and protect you from any dangers."sigpic

It made Ryli feel great that he was trying again. Knowing that he wanted to protect her made her think there was still a chance. "Can't you just lure a wolfo into camp, or save me from drowning or something?" she said jokingly. "Those both seem less dangerous."Comment

Kairu laughed aloud a little bit. "If saving you from drowning turns out like the first time I saw you in water, then I would gladly save you from drowning!" Kairu let out another laugh.
Leo hung back smiling seeing that Ryli and Kairu were finally getting along again. Hope had returned to him again.sigpic

Ryli laughed for what seemed to be the first time in ages and rolled her eyes. The flames around her fists dissipated as she calmed down. "In all seriousness though, I don't like this. I don't feel safe... He makes me feel like a monster..."Comment

"He will listen to me. He won't hurt you, I promise," Kairu said. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pecked her cheek. He wasn't sure if she'd feel like it was too soon for it, but he wanted to convey his feelings back to her, let her know that his love is still there, despite anything that has happened so far.sigpic

Malina smiled at the pair. Kairu was apparently learning to deal with his spell-inforced infatuation. Hopefully he wouldn't ruin it again. She wanted neither the false affection, nor the jealousy from Ryli stemmed by it. But it looked like the two were getting along well again, and as long as they stayed that way, she'd be happy for them.

Ryli was happy that Kairu was at least showing some interest in her again, but part of her didn't trust it. How long will it be before he goes back to Malina? He's cheated so many times before, how is this different? I don't want to be made a fool of again... she thought, worry causing her temperature to drop drastically and her lips to turn blue.
She shivered and, trying to push the negative thoughts away for now, turned to Malina. "Whichever you prefer Princess," she said politely. Even though she had just slept, Ryli felt more tired than she had in ages.Comment

As Naroh returned from his camp he has forgot that he had a map a military issued map that he was given at showed where units where placed and showed easy access around the area. So upon his return he gave the map to Kairu and said "Here you go. You need this more then I do. I figured if we head to Termina we should take the short and quiet way." "Breakfast then," Malina said happily. She really hoped Drake knew how to make those flapjacks. They were a really good treat, and she hadn't had them in quite a while.
She looked up as the soldier came back. "Short and quiet way? What way is that? Mentally she brought up the map of the continent she had spent hours upon hours memorizing. She had added the passage Kaida and Donovan had used to enter Labrynna, but she didn't know any other entrances, other than through Hyrule's desert, and that way didn't sound too appealing to her.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Kairu peeked at the map. "I would prefer a load of sand over a country of soldiers trying to kill us. At least after this invasion, the Gerudo may be not so populated. And if Ryli is still on good terms with her people, we can stock up at their settlement before crossing the desert."
Leo looked at the map with Kairu, listening in on what his father was saying. "What about going a little out of our way? We head back to these... Faron Woods, and through the caves, shoot up through the caves along the desert edge."
Kairu followed the path Leo was verbally outlining. "Doing that will take longer than necessary. Plus, Labrynna would have tightened control in those caves and the woods. No, we need something we can trust on avoiding attention."sigpic

As Naroh listened to what was being discussed he pointed at the map..."If we back track to the lake there is a couple of small boats that we can use to get across and take us into Gerudo Valley, but if we do travel this way we need to do it in the dark so no one can see us. Plus just last week i seen the boats there and there was only like 2 to 3 guards there. If we take them out its safe sailing from there." As Naroh is talking about killing the guards he plays with an arrow indicating that he will take charge of killing the guards.sigpicLets do this \m/Comment

"If that was a week ago, the guards are likely gone. It's possible the Gerudo burned the boats when they passed through the area. They had nothing but conquest on their mind, and if those soldiers were smart, they would've ran back to the Castle. Not that it helped." Leo disagreed on the newcomer's idea. He knew how it played out in his realm and it almost no different. Hyrule Castle was caught unaware and fell before the soldiers were scrambled. "No, at this point, it should be up to the ladies. After all, they are the important ones here."sigpic

Malina reached over and looked at the map in Kairu's hands, peering at it to see if she could find another route. She really didn't want to go through the desert. "You're right about the woods. My father will have completely barricaded that entrance as soon as he realized we'd left. But I think we have another path besides the desert." She pointed at the mountains in the north. "It looks like Snowpeak of Hyrule joins with Snowhead of Termina. We could possibly go there." She grimaced. "Either we'll be too hot or too cold.
