"Krea," Sephira mused. She didn't recall hearing the name before, but there were many names she had never heard before. After all, she had only been in Hyrule for a couple years. If the man was another ghost, he would most likely have been dead longer than she had been alive.
Midnight was walking beside the two when Melody spoke to him. He jumped back with a surprised growl. Sephira glanced down. "What is it?" she asked. Her hand strayed towards her sword, but she had a feeling she didn't need it.
Melody, Midnight growled. He was a little annoyed at being snuck up upon.
Sephira patted his side, understanding his annoyance. Then she spoke, not lifting her eyes from Midnight since she didn't know where exactly Melody was. "Melody? Would you mind explaining what you know about this?" she asked as politely as she could. As always, her old forest accent seemed to creep into her voice as she addressed the ghost. She didn't know why. The higher-pitched notes of the forest birds mixed with the gruffer notes of the cheetahs and other beasts always made her feel comforted when she heard it, although she doubted she would ever hear it from a mouth other than her own ever again.
