As Zelkai found Lake Hylia, he took his horse Nola to the waters to drink, but something didn't feel right in his gut, and Nola felt it. Zelkai turns around and see's a bandit who walks up to Zelkai. "Give me your horse" he says, pulling a dagger out, "Or I'll gut you." Zelkai laughed at the bandit and pulled out his sword, then lunged it through the bandit's chest. As Zelkai pulled out the sword, the bandit staggered back. "You... you tricked me."
As the bandit was in pain and couldn't even finish his sentence, Zelkai then ended the bandit's pain, when more of them. Some of them with swords started to walk towards him. Zelkai, knowing he was in trouble, ran towards the bandit group and attacked them. The bandits dropped one by one, as the ones with daggers started to run. Zelkai attacked one of the ones who had a sword and grabbed the bandit's arm. Holding his arm from being able to stab him, he stabbed his own sword through the bandit's chest killing him instantly as it pierced his heart. Zelkai turned around only to be attacked again. One of the bandits with daggers managed to stab Zelkai with it in his arm. Zelkai quickly pulled the dagger out and threw it at his foe.
Nola trampled a bandit to death, and the rest started to run away, leaving thier weapons behind. Zelkai found a bag of rupees off a bandit he killed. He counted them up and put the 250 rupees in his pocket.
Zelkai and Nola then rode on to the nearest town.
*Zelkai then proceeds to the next province to see if he can fight in the war*
