*Adriel and Joarm enter from Rise of a Menace.*

Adriel lead Joarm to his study within the Palace. Adriel stood outside the room's door allowing Joarm to enter first. Joarm had remained hooded and secluded about his looks for the entire trip. His hood had fallen over the piercing eyes and he entered the room. Joarm had taken note of how cozy the room was. There were many bookshelves lining the wall, a desk with several posh chairs surrounding it and a candelabra on the desk along with all of Adriel's work. Joarm stood in the center of the room, feeling the history of the palace flow through him. He could feel the old magic of Veran and Ambi from centuries past. Joarm relished in the evil, soon picking up the light from the Hero of Time's interference. Under the hood, Joarm frowned as he could feel that moment when Veran's magic ceased to exist in the Palace. When it did, the fleeing dark magic snapped Joarm to look in the direction of the Black Tower in southern Lynna City. Adriel noted how inhuman the sudden neck twitch was as Joarm faced the Tower's direction.

Adriel entered, keeping his eyes on Joarm. He moved around the guest and took a seat opposite Joarm and the rest of the room, sitting behind the desk where he had spoken to Malina weeks before. When Veran's last ounce of magic flowed out of the room, Joarm detected the power of the palace, more history sinking in. The long gap between the 400 years soon brought Joarm to Malina's rebellion against Adriel. Joarm snapped his attention back at Adriel.

"The Lord who was so loved and respected by all was too high in position to prevent the only one he cared about from doing the same. But in a time of war and bloodshed, instinct overpowered logic of the man and caused the daughter of royal blood to be cast out from her home with a man who didn't even belong. But now, after several attempts to take his own life, that Lord is moving past regret and moving to forget. Do not forget your daughter, Baron. She will return."

Adriel sat at his desk. Joarm's words stung him hard and got under his skin.

"Sir, I would ask you to sit down and stop whatever nonsense you are doing! I wish to discuss your terms for peace."

"What's there to discuss? All you need to know is already here."

Joarm held out his hands, showing that the novelties and articles within the books are what would give Adriel the peace.

"Peace is not a physical entity. It's not something you can fight. It just is. It shows up when you least expect it and it can change the minds and souls of many lives, both living and unborn. Peace is often times endless. It never disappears, only takes a break."

Adriel looked on in discomfort. He didn't like what Adriel was saying.

    "I want peace between-"

    Joarm had interrupted.

"Do you? The Lord of War says he wants peace, but he knows nothing of it. He wants war... bloodshed..."

Joarm moved his head slowly upwards to stare directly at Adriel.

    "Revenge."

"What are you trying to insinuate? That I don't want to end the suffering of my people?"

"You were offered your chance when you brought a visitor here, a Hylian."

    "And my daughter healed him!"

"True, she did out of her compassion. However, his partner, his... lover, came and you jumped to a rash decision. You thought she was working for the King of Evil instead of trusting. Instead of a potential offering of peace, you moved ahead with death, continuing a war and bloodshed."

"How dare you patronize me in my own palace!"

Joarm brought his hand to his hidden face and he issued a noise.

    "Shhhhh."

Adriel wanted to continue to yell, but for a reason unknown to him, he was being forced back into his seat and forced to silence.

"Here is the idea for peace. You can go and rally your people for peace. I merely ask for your faith."

Adriel felt his anger boil in his mind. He wanted to resist, but it felt like his body was involuntarily doing what Joarm commanded as the visitor motioned Adriel's body to get up and move across the room. Adriel continued to resist until he finally broke out of Joarm's manipulation. Joarm, although his face didn't show the expression, was truly surprised at the will to resist. Joarm's instincts were to lash out, but instead, he felt it would be best to maintain the illusion that he was powerless, only a mere prophet. Adriel wasn't convinced, however. He knew that if Joarm was controlling and manipulating his own physical body that the power Joarm possesses would be vast. Instead, Joarm merely used his glowing gold eyes to stare at Adriel.

"Mark my words, Baron, if you resist me, your people will resist you."

"Even if I wanted to put my faith into you, the other Houses of Labrynna won't. I'm the leader of Labrynna because I seized the day and took my position through wit, deception, and power. Some of the Houses will fight me out of spite, and others will because they sincerely disagree with my political policies. If you want to usher peace, then do it without me. If you don't mind, I'm going to ask you to leave me to plan the end of this war my own way."

Joarm began to backpedal towards the study's door. He looked up, his eyes still locked onto Adriel who had since returned to his desk.

"You're making a mistake, Baron. Enjoy your posh living while you can. Next time I return, we will not be friends."

    Adriel scoffed.

"We're not even friends now, nor were we ever. Get out of my country, now."

Joarm turned around, his body still snappy and sharp as it turned. He then walked out of the study and soon, out of the palace.
