It seemed like ages had passed since they had woken up, but it was really only about ten minutes, and they moved fast. Ate some leftovers from the last night's bird and disappeared into the fog to where their unknown destination. It wasn't a very long run until they reached an opening, with much drier land.
Now Donovan, Kaida, and her panther were looking down a huge canyon. Donovan's stomach twisted at the drop. He had never looked down such a deep crevice.
"Never seen this on a map before," Donovan couldn't take his eyes off the rocky ground. Looking towards the South, he could see grassier land. Almost like Termina Field. But it couldn't have been. They must have reached new land. "I can't believe it. Do you know where we are?" He realized that it could have been one of the other countries he had heard of but never believed in. He didn't remember specific names of the lands, besides Hyrule, the one country he did believe in. This certainly wasn't Hyrule. "I guess we better head south, along the canyon." Turning to lead the woman and her companion, he couldn't help stopping to look back towards the swamp. Termina. His life. Was he leaving it all behind? No, he couldn't. He promised himself to return, no matter what. Then he left the past, back to the future. Land he had never visited. Would he get closer to finding these sheikah people? The phrase lingered in his mind, as if his old guardian spoke into his brain: Only one way to find out.
