    *Coming in from Nexus/Logata City*

Zulo glided higher and higher, Logata City shrinking behind him. He kept going until he spotted the Logata River, and decided to descend to it's shore so he could wash off his ridiculous terror-bird makeup. As he flew, that sense of freedom that burned so bright before was only a lingering itch, and he was quickly being submerged in loneliness he had never really felt before. Back at Clearcliff, the only place he could be alone was in his room, but even then, there were still other Ritos just outside his door. Zulo felt like solitude was the only place for him to be at right now, but at the same time, it depressed him a little.
Soon enough, Zulo was landing by the water, going down to wash off all the stupid makeup. As he did it, he was reminded of Jenna, and was really starting to hate her. She put him in this terrible situation that almost got him killed by this new ruler, and then just left him alone to fend for himself. Looking back, Zulo never had to fend for himself. The closest he had ever gotten to that was his almost-successful runaways, and even on those he was with a friend. Jenna wasn't the only person he was mad at, of course. He was mad at Rhykim and all his supporters, and expected that they would demolish his own village sometime soon. He wasn't exactly mad at his own Ritos, but they sure did annoy him, just because of their protectiveness for him. He didn't like the attention of being the Rito prince, and didn't feel fit for it. Rito chieftains always had only one son, and that son always became Prince so there was no getting out of it for Zulo. And now that he had seen Rhykim, a little Rito prince meant nothing.
After washing himself for a few minutes, Zulo looked at his reflection to see that all his crazy makeup was gone. He knew his wet feathers would make flying a struggle, so he walked over to the shore and laid down, watching the clouds pass by. He actually hoped for some traveller to come by and run into him, but it seemed impossible. The only life forms he could see were birds and the occasional rodent, and all he heard was the flowing of the river. He really felt lonely.

Zulo woke up, daylight flaring his vision. He scrambled around a bit in confusion until the chilly breeze, the sound of the river flowing, and itchy green grass reminded him that he wasn't back home, but in the middle of Logata's great field. He weakly stood up and rubbed his eyes, trying to clear out the haze of his consciousness. His feathers were much dryer, and he guessed he had been napping for a couple hours. Naps really left Zulo sleepy. He stumbled around a bit until he was awake enough to think straight. He wondered where to go next. He remembered that the town of Silvervale was located directly to the east, and a flight to get there wouldn't take more than an hour for him, as long as he didn't fall back asleep in the sky. He chose to go there, since he couldn't think of anywhere better to go.
The rito ran quickly toward the river ahead, and as the land dipped down to cradle the water, he let his body leave the ground, and he glided back into the sky to continue his lonely adventure, this time headed for a smaller civilization where he hoped his life wouldn't be risked.

    *Fast forward a few hours*

Logata's southern coast. Zulo had heard about it, but had never come near. Now it was creeping over the distant horizon as he flew away from Silvervale. Not much had been going on in the farm town--he had to leave quickly when he saw an older rito flying around, and Zulo luckily made it out without being caught. The wind favored his gliding, and in no time he could see the magnificent city of Falconmill ahead. From what he had heard about it, it was Logata's greatest city, and would be buzzing with activity. Hopefully that wouldn't mean being caught by a rito.
