Luther had been following the conversation and what was happening around him quite intently when he heard it. The whole world seemed to go out of focus and he disconnected with his surroundings. All his life, he had been cursed by the fact that there was practically another person sharing the same body and mind. Through all the years of his life, it quietly enraged him and sometimes made him want to stab his head just to make it all stop. Luther lived on the hope that one day, he would wake up, and he'd be free.
But now, there was another one.
Another voice he would be forced to listen to. Another opinion he'd have to deal with. Another demon constantly aware of his thoughts. Another person in the same body, and in the same mind.
If a second was nearly unbearable, a third was hell incarnate.
Luther drew on his strength and stood firm. If he lost it now, the group would certainly leave him behind. He needed to gain control of the situation.
What are you? Luther asked the new voice in his head. You can't be another one. Certainly, you would've spoken once during twenty five years!
Leave, at once. Luther's other side said, weighing in on the matter. Or the wrath of the goddesses shall be upon you.
