Solar ran through the camp, greeting Stari and cheetahs alike as he searched for Nyx and his sister Luna. He finally found Nyx and was a little surprised to see her kissing someone. He sniffed and took a minute to recognize his scent. Not that it really mattered. He turned and started to look for his sister.

Nyx pulled away slowly when she saw Solar out of the corner of her eye. She smiled softly at Ranger before turning around to greet the Cheetah. "Hello Solar. Is it time to launch the attack?" Nyx asked.Comment

"Tell Master Rhykim I said good luck, not that he'll need it. And please tell Amaya I said be careful...I really don't want her getting hurt," Nyx said. She always worried about her sister, even though she was more than capable of caring for herself. From the corner of her eye, Nyx could see Luna sneaking up on Solar, getting ready to pounce on her twin.Comment

Solar bowed his head then turned to run back to the other camp, only to cannonball into Luna. The two tussled for awhile before the female got on top and pinned him down. Solar purred happily while he panted for breathe, then pushed her off and gave her a lick over the ear before turning and running back to Amaya.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Luna watched her twin run away. She missed him really badly. Like Nyx worried about Amaya, Luna also worried about Solar. He shared his partner's love for head-on combat, and sometimes that worried her. He just seemed so reckless sometimes...
Nyx saw the troubled expression and posture her cheetah partner had taken on. Leaving Ranger's side, she walked over to Luna and stroked her fur slowly, trying to soothe her. "I worry about them too. They'll be okay though, they always are."
"I know....I just can't help but worry. I'll feel better once I see them on the battlefield...When I can keep an eye on them," Luna replied. Nyx knelt down and hugged Luna. The two were so similar, and they really did know just how to make the other feel better, or at least like they were not alone.Comment

Ranger watched as the cheetah communicated the message to Nyx, then interacted with Luna, and then left. Then he watched as Nyx went over to Luna and hugged her. He smiled, the relationship between a Stari and his cheetah went deeper than any human could understand. He smiled at Dara who was watching him from nearby.
"You know while they're getting cozy over there you could tell the soldiers to prep for battle," Dara said in response to his stare. Ranger nodded and stood up, walking over to the tents were the others were talking and just chilling. He announced to them they moved at moon's peak, so they needed to be ready. They nodded and went about their pre-battle rituals. He walked back to Dara and waited to see if Nyx wanted to say anything else to him.Comment

Nyx looked at Ranger, trying to hide the obvious concern in her eyes. Unable to stop herself, she blurted, "Please be careful tonight." She blushed, and instantly worried that he would get annoyed like Amaya always did when she said stuff like that to her. "I mean, not that you aren't a great fighter or anything of course, I just don't want to clean pieces of you up off the ground after the fight," Nyx continued, trying to sound less protective, even though the real reason she wanted Ranger to be careful was because she knew she would miss him if something happened...Comment

Ranger half-smiled, it was cute how she got concerned for him. Walking up close to her, he took her hand in both of his. "Don't worry about me," he pecked her cheek, "I'm not that bad a fighter, you know? Besides, I'm in good hands." He winked and when he let her hand go, he had placed the poison she had given him in it. He winked, then turned and walked towards the tents, then he turned one final time to her and called out, "Besides, I'm sure there are other people who can clean off my pieces if such came the case." He grinned and walked into his tent to ready for battle.Comment
