Chandra smiled. "Don't worry, I'm fine. I just crashed on the first bed I came to. I don't even know whos bed it was." She giggled a little. "Anyways, shall we go hunt up some breakfast? Then water? I could use a bath."

"That sounds like a good plan. Now, off we go to find some breakfast." Elgin said, walking in the direction he had been heading in. He looked around for signs of a kitchen frantically only because he was really hungry. Food sounds awesome right now....but I gotta find food for her first.Comment

"Oh, my dad was excellent at cooking 'people' food. He spent half his life off Smokehead Mountain, so he learned alot about cooking. What do you want?" Elgin asked Chandra. I hope she asks for something I know how to cook.
Taurean stood outside at the stables, looking at the castle. Where can Elgin be? Taurean wondered while looking at the castle for no reason. Why do I have a feeling he is close by?Comment

Chandra swept dust off a chair and sat down. "Surprise me. I eat almost anything. So make whatever you feel like making." Elgin went into the kitchen and quickly made a very good smelling stew. "Eat up." Elgin said as he handed Chandra the stew.
Taurean was still looking at the castle when he caught the scent of something he hadn't smelled in a long time. "The stew for the Logatans that Father used to make...it has to be Elgin." Taurean said he stormed into the castle, following the scent.Comment

Chandra smiled her thanks, then started wolfing down the food. She immediatly regretted eating so quickly. She started sucking in air to cool her scalding tongue. She smiled at Elgin, tears streaming from her eyes. "That's some good food, but it's hot. Better than cold, of course." She wiped her face, then resumed eating, at a much slower pace. Elgin smiled. "I'm glad you like it." He then heard very loud footsteps. Only one person makes that sound when they are walking... Elgin charged down the hallway, looking for the person he knew was there. He found Taurean near the end of the hallway, just like Elgin thought he would. "Long time no see, Elgin." Taurean said, slightly grinning.
"Why did you kill Dad, Taurean? What did he do to you?" Elgin asked Taurean.
"I did it to devastate you, Elgin. But since that didn't work as well as I thought, I'm going to result to Plan B. Which is to kill all your friends..." Taurean's slight grin went into a full cocky grin, "starting with her."
Elgin became furious. "You'll have to go through me first. And how do you know that someone was with me? And how did you know it was a girl?" Elgin asked.
"I have my ways, younger brother." Taurean said before charging at Elgin.Comment

Chandra stood as she heard the footsteps. When Elgin left the room to check it out, she started to follow him. Then she heard the voice. She knew there was no chance she'd have of helping Elgin beat a full-grown Goron. She looked around the kitchen searching for something to help. She found a very large pot, which she thought would work fairly well. She came out just in time to see Taurean charge. She threw the pot as hard as she could to hit Taurean. She then grabbed Elgin's hand and started to pull him away, hoping to get away before the Goron could cause any harm.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Taurean fell back onto the ground when the pot hit him. "You'll pay for that!" Taurean said as he got back up.
Elgin was completely blinded by anger. He broke away from Chandra and charged at Taurean. Elgin delievered a blow to Taurean's stomach, which made Taurean fall on his knees.
Taurean blacked out for a split second when Elgin punched him. Taurean was completely shocked that it was Elgin that just hit him. "Since when can you hit so hard?" Taurean asked as he struggled to look Elgin in the eye.
Elgin looked down at Taurean with pride. Elgin was glad that he had done some major damage this time around. He kicked Taurean's head repeatedly, insulting Taurean as he kicked him. "And this is for Dad." Elgin said, bringing his fist down on Taurean's head.
Taurean's head went soaring to the ground, landing the the puddle of blood that was already there. "B-b-b-brother....I'm s-s-s-sorry....." Taurean said, couging out blood occasionally while he was talking.
Elgin just stared at Taurean with no emotion on his face. "Just leave, scum. I'm done with you." Elgin said before helping Taurean up. He guided Taurean to the stables, but that is as far as Elgin led him. He grabbed a rag and cleaned up all the blood. When he finished, he looked up at Chandra. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Chandra." Elgin told Chandra.Comment

Chandra stared at Elgin the whole time. She wanted to shriek at him, to pull him away. But she was a warrior before a woman. She let him do it, let him beat his brother. But inwardly, she broke.
When he escorted Taurean out, she followed. When he sent him away, she walked up to his side. But once Taurean was gone, and Elgin spoke, she broke completely. She cried. She couldn't help it. It hurt seeing her friend do something so wrong.Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Elgin looked down at the ground in shame and closed his eyes. He remembered the days when Taurean wasn't corrupted. He remembered how kind he was and his cool attitude. What happened, Taurean? What demon took control?Comment

Chandra quickly got herself under control. She took a few deep breathes, then wiped her face. She turned to Elgin and smiled. "Sorry for breaking down on you like that. It's just..." Elgin looked up and opened his eyes. He knew what he had to do. He looked at Chandra and told her, "I have something to tell you, but I don't want to say it here. Come with me." Elgin said, grabbing Chandra's hand gently and walking in the general direction of Smokehead.
