    Murder in the Castle

    Shak rode the horse toward the castle, taking it to the stables. He hopped off, and set the reins on a pole. He Looked to the group, then smiled. An official ran to Shak, and informed him of somethign Shak didn't want to hear. "An attack on Falconmill?" Shak replied. "Do you know who it was?" The offical shook his head. "He was covered with armor. We couldn't see his face." The offical replied. "Send soldiers immidetally. We need to stop him before any further destruction" Shak growled. Without a word, The offical Ran to the castle, and prepared some soldiers, about 150,000. To help protect Falconmill.

    *The soldiers move to Rhykim's Campaign, Shak's group remains at the castle*

    Endin ran behind the king, keeping his pace measured. "That's a lot of soldiers." He said "What do we know of our enemy?" He ran through a mental map of the city, trying to figure out where to place their forces. The knight kept his eyes out, thinking of what to do if the castle was attacked. "How many troops remain here?"

      Chandra rode into the castle on Ignatius, chatting with Elgin, who was walking beside the horse. She glanced up at the others, surprised by the grim expressions all around. She quickly dismounted and hurried over. "What happened?" Then she spotted the crown on Shak's head. Her eyes widened and she bowed. "Majesty. I'm sorry about your father. What do you want me to do?"

        Shak saw Chandra and Elgin come to the crowd. "Please don't call me majesty." Shak responded, not liking that title. "As for what you can do, I have gotten a report that there is an attack on Falconmill. I'm afriad they might advance to Logata City, so I need everyone, to get ready, if there is an attack on us. As we know, The Logata Army isn't the best, and there is a high chance of failure. I need everyone on there toes, and retalliate if attacked. We can't risk any further destruction." Shak added.

          "Just fantastic." Elgin muttered to himself. He looked at the group and saw a new guy(Edin). "Hey, who are you?" Elgin asked. Hmm....what importance does this guy have? Elgin asked himself.

            Turning to the new king, Eos looked deep into his eyes and said, "I will not leave your side. Nothing will happen to you, I promise. You are safe with me." She smiled softly and stepped close to him.

              Endin turned to Elgin and nodded in greeting. "Endin Alceaus" He said, looking up at the Goron. "I'm here to protect the King. I owe it to him." He made it clear through his expression that he wouldn't stand for anyone disagreeing with him.

                "I'm Elgin, one of the king's friends." Elgin told Endin. "You've saved me the trouble of guarding the king." Elgin added. I can just be backup or something. Elgin thought.

                  Shak looked back into Eos' eyes, and he smiled broadly as she said she would never leave his side. He did feel safer next to Eos, and he was glad to be with her. He nodded in silence, and behind Eos, he saw Chandra and Elgin standing pretty close. He mentally shrugged it off, and focused his eyes back on Eos. "I know you will, and I deeply appreciate that." Shak placed his hand on her sholder, and laid a kiss on her cheek. Shak pulled away, and checked his clothes. They were awfully dirty from sleeping in them all those days.

                    Eos noticed Shak looking down at his clothes. "Let's get you cleaned up," she said, smiling brightly. "You could use a little bit of a break." She took his hand and began pulling him towards the castle. He needed to get away from all this stress. So much had happened to him in the past couple of days, and Eos didn't want Shak to cave under all this pressure.

                      Shak let Eos drag him, once they were in the castle, Something smacked Shak's mind. He was now the king. The throne was his, he ran Logata. He owned Logata. Shak smiled brightly as he thought of this. He looked back down to his dirty clothes. "It would be nice to get cleaned up." Shak admited.

                        Eos stopped once they reached inside the castle and looked at Shak, beginning to blush a little. "I have no idea where I'm going, so I don't know where to drag you to. Could you lead the way?" she asked, trying to keep herself from giggling uncontrollably. She would need to learn her way around the castle if she was going to be protecting the new King. She had his security to consider. And hopefully, I may be sticking around here a lot since I'm dating Shak... Eos pushed the thought out of her mind. Right now, safety was the priority. She'd worry about relationship matters later.

                          "I should be able to get fresh clothes in my room." Shak said. "Of course I could lead the way, why would I not?" Shak added, with a smile. For a change, Shak grabbed Eos' hand, and gave her a quick tour of the Castle on the way to his room. Once they reached the door to his room, Shak turned to Eos. "I would like to go in alone, If you understand changing infront of people isn't the funnest thing to do." Shak said playfully. He opened his door, and entered his room. he slowly closed his door, with Eos on the other side. Without thinking, Shak headed to the Box on his dresser. He popped it open, and searched the componets. The pendants where missing, and Shak mentally cursed to himself. "Rats most of tooken them when they took my father..." Shak said to himself. Shak rubbed his head, now wasn't the time for gifts, now was the time for preporations. After some freshing up, and a change into new clothes, Shak stepped back outside of his room, to the waiting Gerudo. "I'm all set." He stated.

                            Chandra took a tour of the castle's defences. She did not like what she saw. It was a grand, sturdy castle, that was for sure, but war would work against it. She had a feeling that even if the battlements weren't so decorative, the guards who watched from them would be poor shots. The towers were too low to give any hieght advantage, and were designed so that it was much too easy to get trapped inside, and there be slaughtered.
                            Looking about the inner grounds of the castle did not change her mind. The grounds were open, and had many gardens. There were no good places to fight, and the whole place could be razed from the walls if the enemy captured it, as they surely must if the battle was taken ingrounds.
                            Chandra didn't even bother going into the castle itself. She knew that it was almost more a palace than a castle, meaning it was more for luxery than battle. She sighed and went looking for Elgin. By her diagnosis, they were lose. There was little they could do to avoid that. The Gerudos lived too far away for her to send someone to get them, and they had no way of knowing who had allied themselves to the traitor and who hadn't. In fact, Chandra wouldn't be surprised if he had recruited from among the Gerudo as well. All in all, Chandra had little hope of winning this fight.

                              Kali chewed the inside of her cheek. She was bored, and all these adults were being too serious. She shifted her eyes to match the sky blue of the sky, and her hair to match the dirt beneath her feet. Maybe she should slip away, find someone who would play with her. She perked up at that thought. That's a good idea! She glanced around to make sure no one was watching her, then started to head towards the gates and slip out. Maybe that boy in the markets would be there today, and she could play with him.
