Rhykim and Amaya was standing to the west, watching the last bit of the sun falling. When it finally disappeared, he turned to Amaya. "It's time. Prepare to mobilize in one hour." He walked away back to the camp looking for his strike team.

Xeonph smiled. THe invasion was starting. He went to Rhykim. "I assum ewe'll storm teh walls?"
Meanwhile, Rylin swooped off, to warn the others at the castle of the invasion.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.

Nyx looked at Ranger, feeling the excitement building. "You ready? It's finally time to attack. We'll be flanking the castle, so have your archers take out as many of their archers as possible before we get close enough for them to spot us."Comment

Ranger smiled and winked, "I'm always ready." He looked at the castle in the distance and knew this was were he was meant to be. He smiled again at Nyx then said, "I'll make sure all the archers know their orders," and walked towards their people waiting nearby.Comment

Nyx looked down at Luna. "Well, it's finally time. We will be by Master Rhykim's side at the throne in just a few short hours," she said and smiled slightly. She turned towards the castle. "That's going to be our new home."
"I, for one, can't wait," Luna responded. She shivered slightly with pent-up excitement.
"Now all we can do is wait for the forces to be ready. In just a matter of minutes, we will be taking this place by storm."Comment

"Correct, give it just a couple more minutes. Make yourself ready, be back here in five minutes," Rhykim replied. He walked back to the command tent. He put on his helmet and equipped himself with his giant sword. When opened the tent to head back to his team, he caught a scent in the air. Something different from the burning and pillaging, "Ahhh, the smell of fear and the smell of victory." As he was looking up, he saw on the horizon, a red shooting star. Ranger finished saying the speech he always did to his soldiers to encourage them and really make them believe they were going to win, and then told them what their orders were. Once he was sure they understood correctly, he wished them luck and walked back to Nyx. "All set, General Nyx, awaiting further orders," he said as officially as he could, then smiled. Dara rolled his eyes and walked to sit near Ranger's feet.Comment

Amaya ordered the troops ready, then filled her canteens with water, making sure they were brimmed to the top. She checked her quiver, making sure she had a full two dozen of straight and sharp arrows. Then she sat and drew her sword. She took out her sharpening stone and running up and down the edges a few times, making sure it had no knicks in it. Then she sheathed it and went to stand by Rhykim, shaking with anticipation for the upcoming battle. Solar stood by her, also waiting.
(sorry it took so long for me to post this, and it turns out I'm going to be gone all afternoon as well. So anyone want to control my charactors? Go ahead)Phillipians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Nyx walked slowly and silently to a place where she could get a good look at the castle. "We attack as soon as they storm the castle. Any sooner, and we would all die. As soon as the attack starts, we move into position."Comment

Rhykim turned to the excited Amaya. "Relax. I need you focused and ready. I'm counting on you and your sister. Without you two, I don't think I would be here." Rhykim wrapped his arm around her to comfort her.sigpic

Amaya continued to shake. She looked up at Rhykim and grinned wickedly. "Soon the lands will be red with blood! The birds and beasts will feast on flesh! Soon the land will tremble beneath your rule! Back at the castle, Endin was going through his equipment in preparation for the battle. At least 20 knives slid in and out of his clothes and cloak, then back in without him visibly moving them. The exile ran at a tree and kicked off it, seemed to push off against the air and landed behind Shak.

Xeonph looked at the archer beside Rhykim. "Yeah, sure... hey, have you ever relaxed before?" He looked at Rhykim. "So, when are we doing this? Because if everyone starts yelling like her, stealth won't be an option."

"Are you ready, Assassin?" Rhykim asked. In the back of his head, he knew Xeonph had a point about Amaya. If they didn't move fast, the bloodthirsties would ruin their stealth. Rhykim looked up to barely see a Rito flying from the camp towards the castle, "Someone, take it down! Now!" he ordered.
Shak, fully equipped and looking at the castle blueprints, was planning the last of any possible countermeasures. "Yes, I'm ready. As much as I will be."sigpic

*Hey... I'm not the only to double-post... but I think I just did.*
Xeonph turned to see the Rito. He turned back to Rhykim. "Yes, I'm ready, just give me a minute." He turned back and flew off towards the Rito.
He reached him as he was almost within the castle walls. He threw his knife, and it struck the Rito's wing. The Rito spiraled down into a clearing. Xeonph dropped, holding his sword downward.
Rylin tried not to cry out at the pain of the knife in his wing. Suddenly, he saw a Dracos dropping out of the sky. He rolled over then shot out his whip at the Dracos. The were pulled together and fought each other furiously.So I'm back, or at least I will be eventually. Trying to reintegrate myself.
